It blows my mind at how strict Toho are with Godzilla and how he is used, whether it’s in movies, pictures or figures. Them not wanting an atomic breath beam with that specific figure is crazy lol. I mean, I get it though. Godzilla is basically their child and you should be very protective of your child lol.
@ looking back, I’m shocked they allowed the 1998 film to happen, because of the major design change and the fact that the military actually killed him in the film. They don’t allow that to happen anymore 🤣
Is there a reason you dont think they'll wait a year? It feels like announcing it in 2025 for a 2026 release makes sense thats what happened with Minus One it terms of a year announcement before the release
No hate towards you Derek, but I think it will be for a while until we get this next Toho Godzilla film. I am pretty sure they're in pre-production currently and have just started working on it in November or slightly prior to that, so I don't imagine we'll get it until after the sequel to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. But that's just my views and thoughts on it.
Usually I'd agree with that, but given that the next Jurassic World movie is also being produced in a similar time-span, despite probably requiring more effort in terms of vfx n stuff, I don't think it's too unreasonable to assume that the next toho movie releases this or next year.
Minus One sequel *this year* seems like a crazy prediction to me, especially considering Minus One probably spent 2-3 years in active development based off of statements about how the script was being worked on during lockdown. The fact that Yamazaki stated he wants to do a VS movie, as well as the fact that the announcement we got simply stated that the movie was “greenlit”, makes me wonder if this is the type of thing that really *could* be finished within the span of a year. I’m obviously not an expert on this type of stuff, but if we were to get Minus Two this year, I’d worry that it got undercooked. I trust Toho and I trust Yamazaki, but I can’t help but worry
I'm still in the belief that we'll get the sequel in 2026 but who knows. As long as they're given enough time to produce another high quality movie, that's all that matters. Also those are probably the best illuminated dorsal plates for a Godzilla figure ever(8:23).
Do you have, or recommend, a list of Godzilla suits, eras, and variations? After talking about the big "G" the other day, I wondered how many suits, eras, variations there were, and I tried to find, make, a list. I was shocked by the number of different answers (even without including Animated, Comics, Manga, and various others). (Eras: Heisei, Showa, Millennium, Monsterverse, and more.) (Variations include: Space Godzilla, Godzilla not Godzilla for legal reasons ("Goldmember" (2002)), Jirahs ("Ultraman" S1E10 "Nazo no kyôryû kichi" (1966)), Son of Godzilla (aka Godzilla Jr.), Hollywood Godzilla ("Godzilla" (1998)), Shin Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and more.) As always, thank you so very much for the videos.
Hey Dman! In Godzilla The Series episode “S.C.A.L.E”, the episode’s main antagonist “Alexandra Springer” was voiced by Linda Blair from the Exorcist franchise What are your thoughts on a member of the Exorcist franchise working in a Godzilla franchise?

Yeah, I’m down for it. They have his best interests in mind

I mean after the butchery that is GXK I wouldn't trust america either
@@whisk4217there was no butchery 🤡
@@whisk4217I don’t think they really care about GXK… both it and Minus One made them a lot of money.

Yeah, the straw Godzilla should be there if Nicholas Cage didn't get there first.

The sequel will be the aftermath of his estranged older cousin appearing in Fortnite.
Lmao XD

Fair enough.
Damn right!!!
Nope, probably not for a couple of years they’re not going to rush it

I can't find the book on amazon im sos sad 😭
You maybe have to look on Amazon JP
I want a proper Godzilla trilogy for the first time.
I have the super7s Godzilla minus one charging version and it’s my favorite minus one figure ever.
That’s awesome!!! Sadly, I missed out on that one
@ it also can glow in the dark.
I think it will come out in 2026. It would be enough time to make another quality product.
D man, what is your favorite Godzilla movie? Please respond.
Didn’t they announce the next film like months ago?
Yep
@ weird that they announced it again but double hyped now anyway
Just checked, that watch is gonna run you $550 before shipping 😅
