Sadly, Nortons is the same hulk from the MCU... Ed Norton was a problem actor during filming (which hes well known to be on other productions as well) so they replaced him with Ruffalo, if we ever get another standalone Hulk movie in the MCU, that will be the sequel to Ed Nortons movie.

As a fellow Hulk enthusiast, that scenario would have worked if Thanos and Hulk's fight would have somehow taken place later in the movie. The absolute burtal Hulk slaughter fest by Thanos in the very beginning of the movie was there to establish the kind of threat Thanos is. That's a brilliant move by the directors to get the viewer's attention from the get go. Unfortunately that came at the cost of Hulk's entire aura.

They even managed to include the Sad Man theme into the film, which was a great homage to the tv series. And a Lou Ferrigno cameo! What more true Hulk fans could ask for. My wife has sat threw that movie with me a dozen times and we get all mushy every time we see the love story unfold. Fantastic movie. Infinity War and Endgame Hulk was terrible. That one had the best design period and most savage looking. At least Ang Lee's Hulk showed his speed and power but in a more comic book way but the whole movie was that way so that was fine for me. Ruffalo has turned into a joke but for the Avengers he was still strong so all these films had a good hulk. Just my opinion.

The nerf Disney made to Hulk Is beyond funny. It Is a disgrace. I like Erick Bana's version of Hulk, getting bigger and stronger as It gets madder. I really liked how they focused on Bruce's child hood trauma which is way more a reason for him to be angry as opposed to that silly She Hulk miniseries saying that she has more rights to be angry because of getting cat-called and some other nonsense! I don't remember where, but I read that they purposely made Ed Norton's Hulk not resemble him because it would emphasise that they were two different characters.
I heard a different story. They didn't have time to sculpt the model to resemble Norton in time, so they just used what they had. It helps the final product imo, Banner and Hulk are two different entities.
This might sound stupid but! The World War Hulk plot point was somewhat "teased" in the first Avengers and Age of Ultron. Hulk being a unstoppable force of nature. I'd kill for that kind of story. Keep up the amazing vids brother 💪
Age of Ultron was the last time it felt like we really had Hulk and Bruce in the MCU. The latter's line about about killing Wanda and not even changing a shade, implying his heart wouldn't even skip a beat, is COLD AF. The battle between Hulk and The Hulkbuster was awesome too. But for everything afterwards it felt like any and all ideas they had for The Hulk were just left on the cutting room floor. Culminating in them basically killing him off and just giving us Bruce with all of Hulk's power, but none of the downsides or interesting aspects of the split personality...
I didn't like Hulk vs Hulkbuster because they had Hulk lose just because it's a popularity contest. Not only has Hulk defeated the suit in every single form of media outside of the movie he has also beaten the Hulkbuster mark 2 with ease and multiple Hulkbusters at once.
at least after all these years, hulk got his proper fight in the comics, and it did not disappoint. thanos in infinity watch asked "i have killed gods, hulk. what can you boast of?" hulk respond with the coldest line possible, "killing the guy who kills gods," then slams thanos into the ground.

The thing is Prof Hulk in the comics is nothing like the movies. He is not weaker than regular Hulk and he has even smacked around Juggernaut even in that form. He's my favorite Marvel character ever and they ruined him and turned him into a total soy boy. It's been really sad. I really hope they do something great with him but I'm not so optimistic anymore. I'm not knowledgeable about marvel or superheroes in general but about 20 yrs ago a friend of mine, during some summer beer drinking on the porch, went on an unsolicited speech about how powerful Hulk is. He is knowledgeable and passionate about marvel. Point being, none of what my friend explained to me has been conveyed in the Ruffalo era Hulk. This video brought that memory back Another great video
Ang Lee Hulk is my favorite. He throws tanks for fun and jumps ten of kilometers in one hop. He caught a hellfire missile fired from a Comanche helicopter, ripped the warhead off in his mouth, and spat it back and shot the helicopter down. Oh, and let's not forget the mutant dogs...

I was on a casual 100 video watching spree about the hulk on youtube for the last couple of days, watching clips and shit when i stumbled upon a comment you made some time ago , in the final fight clip of the 2003 movie i think and now you make this video 🤣 You the goat , the 2008 hulk movie was always one of my favourite superhero movies to watch as a kid when i had it on DVD and i always thought it was underrated af and it could have been even better if there weren't production issues with arguments about the direction of the story. Ang lee hulk is my favourite. The portray of trauma and pure rage despite trying his best to control it and do the right thing i always enjoy the focus on each character flaws and connection between each other and how they evolved.

The Incredible Hulk is and always will be my favorite movie adaptation of Hulk. I recently rewatched the fight with Hulk and Abomination and it was CINEMA. I remember having the damn action figure from that movie as a kid and it was glued to my hands at all time.

Norton Hulk truly embodied the Wrathful Monster that everyone was terrified of. The angry face he had on in the movie all the time legit made you afraid of him, it screamed "I WILL WRECK YOU, ALL YOUR SHIT AND EVERYTHING WITHIN A !HUNDRED BLOCK RADIUS!"
2003 Hulk is finally getting the well deserved recognition it deserves. I was 8 when it came out. None of the hulks since have ever held a candle, nor have they so much as gazed upon the greatness.

I love the Norton abomination look, he looks like a sickly mutated hulk with those bones sticking out veins popping, he looks like a pure monster, same with the hulks design he's zero percent body fat standing at his full height with every strand of muscle visible under the skin, he looks like a pure form of strength

It's crazy you say you are a Hulk fan but IN THE SAME SENTENCE says you don't care about comic accuracy. You are not a Hulk fan because you don't understand em. The problem with Smart Hulk isn't the idea it's self It was just the way he was written that was the problem for me. Mark's Savage Hulk and Smart Hulk both have better strength and durability feats than Norton's Hulk.
The MCU followed the Marvel comics 2014 All New All Different Marvel agenda. The results were the same. Marvel comics sales plummeted. MCU fans decreased.
Great Video!!! The Hulk from The Incredible Hulk 2008 movie was amazing. Hulk's popularity just declined after Ragnarok with him becoming a comedic relief. There's no plan for him now due to Universal owning the rights, or with him not being this interesting after becoming a Smart Hulk, so that's why he has been sidelined so much. He is still popular in the comics, I think so there's that.

I have watched MCU since the beginning and i can say Hulk beating Abomination was by far the most satisfying victory in the franchise because of the way it was so dark, epic and simply just unique. The fact that Norton and Hulk did not look like each other has made sense to me because that should be the way it should be, it just shows how much they differ from one another. I also believe Edward Norton would have nailed World War Hulk perfectly. It is depressing that they fired the actor who actually was a big fan of the character and was passionate about the role given to him. Seriously, he might be my favorite MCU character (not the greatest or best written). I just love him. Perfect Adaptation😩 Keep it up, man👏🏻

The nerf Disney made to Hulk Is beyond funny. It Is a disgrace. I like Erick Bana's version of Hulk, getting bigger and stronger as It gets madder. Imagine that version with the rage from Nortons Hulk, that would be a really unstoppable machine. It on a true World War Hulk adaptation Is the only way to redeem the character. I don't remember where, but I read that they purposely made Ed Norton's Hulk not resemble him because it would emphasise that they were two different characters.
I heard a different story. They didn't have time to sculpt the model to resemble Norton in time, so they just used what they had.
It helps the final product imo, Banner and Hulk are two different entities.

This might sound stupid but! The World War Hulk plot point was somewhat "teased" in the first Avengers and Age of Ultron. Hulk being a unstoppable force of nature. I'd kill for that kind of story. Keep up the amazing vids brother 💪
Age of Ultron was the last time it felt like we really had Hulk and Bruce in the MCU.
The latter's line about about killing Wanda and not even changing a shade, implying his heart wouldn't even skip a beat, is COLD AF.
The battle between Hulk and The Hulkbuster was awesome too.
But for everything afterwards it felt like any and all ideas they had for The Hulk were just left on the cutting room floor. Culminating in them basically killing him off and just giving us Bruce with all of Hulk's power, but none of the downsides or interesting aspects of the split personality...
I didn't like Hulk vs Hulkbuster because they had Hulk lose just because it's a popularity contest. Not only has Hulk defeated the suit in every single form of media outside of the movie he has also beaten the Hulkbuster mark 2 with ease and multiple Hulkbusters at once.
at least after all these years, hulk got his proper fight in the comics, and it did not disappoint. thanos in infinity watch asked "i have killed gods, hulk. what can you boast of?" hulk respond with the coldest line possible, "killing the guy who kills gods," then slams thanos into the ground.

The thing is Prof Hulk in the comics is nothing like the movies. He is not weaker than regular Hulk and he has even smacked around Juggernaut even in that form. He's basically regular Hulk with a gun only much more cunning. Basically the precursor to the Hulk used in planet Hulk. Professor Hulk could be cool if they actually did it right like in the comics

Thank you for making this vid bro. I used to watch The incredible Hulk (w/Bill Bixby) as it aired when I was a child with my father. I have great memories of that show. He's my favorite Marvel character ever and they ruined him and turned him into a total soy boy. It's been really sad. I really hope they do something great with him but I'm not so optimistic anymore. P.S. I'm also a huge fan of Edward Norton's Hulk and really enjoyed Ang Lee's Hulk.
I'm not knowledgeable about marvel or superheroes in general but about 20 yrs ago a friend of mine, during some summer beer drinking on the porch, went on an unsolicited speech about how powerful Hulk is. He is knowledgeable and passionate about marvel. Point being, none of what my friend explained to me has been conveyed in the Ruffalo era Hulk.

The MCU followed the Marvel comics 2014 All New All Different Marvel agenda. The results were the same. Marvel comics sales plummeted. MCU fans decreased.
Great Video!!! The Hulk from The Incredible Hulk 2008 movie was amazing. Hulk's popularity just declined after Ragnarok with him becoming a comedic relief. There's no plan for him now due to Universal owning the rights, or with him not being this interesting after becoming a Smart Hulk, so that's why he has been sidelined so much. He is still popular in the comics, I think so there's that.

I have watched MCU since the beginning and i can say Hulk beating Abomination was by far the most satisfying victory in the franchise because of the way it was so dark, epic and simply just unique. The fact that Norton and Hulk did not look like each other has made sense to me because that should be the way it should be, it just shows how much they differ from one another.
I also believe Edward Norton would have nailed World War Hulk perfectly. It is depressing that they fired the actor who actually was a big fan of the character and was passionate about the role given to him. Seriously, he might be my favorite MCU character (not the greatest or best written). I just love him. Perfect Adaptation😩
