I play a Warforged oath of ancients paladin, whom i flavored her as being made of wood in the feywilds by Silvanus, so this video is excellent for me to reflect more on how to play my character.
I'm currently DMing a homebrew campaign Whispers of the Elderwood, set in the High Forest in Forgotten Realms. I can't thank you enough for this video!
It's interesting, Shadow Druids are typically depicted as evil/wrathful for their destructive views, but Silvanus also hates civilization encroaching on the wild. I wonder how that could be a campaign?
I actually have a Battle Master Loutsudan Halfling that worships Silvanus. Using Studded Leather but studs are rocks instead of metal. He wields a short black sword looking similar to a sharpened Obsidian Rock and A wooden shield that has been carved to show the symbol of a Oak Leaf and Acorn and clovers growing around the edges
I'm DMing and have a life cleric player in the campaign wanting to die, then become an avatar of silvanus. Just before the level up I'm going to have him die and have his soul trapped and stolen by an enemy. But silvanus will so himself and assist the party in retrieving his soul from the enemy. Once the battle is over and soul returned they will level up and he will follow the guidelines of silvanus more as well as some new abilities
Im building a high nature homebrew world and wasnt thinking about magic items. How about a flower wand that can cause 1 seed to grow 100 years in 1 minute. Needing to be planted and let grow for 3 months until it can cast again.
