@@thedarkfrost2351what did derozan do? Apart from putting the spurs on his back. He grew his ability and value as a player enough to get the raps kawhi and subsequently a chip. Put some respect on the name. He was also a 4x all star before, and built raps culture from nothing. So yeah that's all, I geuss. 🤔

DeRozan Fav Raptor to ever play . One of the only player in NBA who wanted to stay in Toronto long term ! Loads of respect to him and I hope one day we can sign him back 🙏
When we're ready to contend he'd be the ultimate 6th man. The timeline is almost too perfect, I hope it works out.
Demar is a starter him being 6th man would limit his role and he’s easily better than anyone on the raptors so him being sixth man wouldn’t make sense
JV also loved Toronto and wanted to stay there... before he was just shipped out..
@@mariusulozas 100% there is other players that felt the same way about the raptors and wanting to stay much longer.. DeRozan just stands out more due to his impact he had on and off the court not to look down at what JV has accomplished. But we can't deny how important DeRozan was for the raptors , arguably one of the best Raptor players

Love this series, hope they can get more people from all sports and roles! Pat Riley, Lamar Jackson, Alex Rodriguez just to name a few. They could even go overseas and talk about trailblazing people who introduced their leagues to new markets. Dirk, Ichiro, David Beckham, Sharapova.

the missing piece in derozan game is top notch defense and 3 point shooting near the end of his time with Raptors. If he had these in the bag he could have won on with raps back then.

Dude is a regular season beast. Unfortunately due to some bad luck and very poor performances he’ll never be remembered for his playoffs and will be overrated. To his credit, the Kawhi trade wasnt the only thing that got the raps that chip
It was mainly due to the cavs recent sweep in 2018 which blinds people from the fact, he helped the raptors make it to the ECF in 2016 and took lebron, kyrie and love to a game 6 eastern conf. finals.
I will say, he’s looking completely different as a Bull. He was fine vs the Bucks, it’s just he didn’t have anyone to force the Bucks to stop triple teaming him, if LaVine can stay healthy and we get Lonzo back it won’t be possible to do that anymore.
@@PR1NCETD0T Exactly people forget that the year Cavs won the chip the Raptors pushed them to game 6. DeRozan in the two wins had 2 straight 32 point games. But losing key role players like Biyombo, Scola, James Johnson, and Jason Thompson played a role in the sweeps in 2017 and 2018, the interior defense was not as strong.

@@atticus._ Of course not. I think overall DeRozan is a better player. However, the significance of Lowry being on the team that brought them their first ring might just weigh greater overall.

The Most Overrated Player I’ve seen played in the NBA. Superstar in the regular season but when the playoffs started he exposed very badly. Don’t make excuse for mental health Demarvelous Defrozen.
