I had the same company make a custom Maker's Mark, too! They were very nice, helpful, and did a fantastic job! And it took less than two weeks to get it! After I received it, I decided to purchase the screw-in heat attatchment (that can also be purchased by them) soon after, as well. It adds a whole new dimension by having a branding effect on the thicker leather. I have to experiment each time, as it takes some practice, for each different type of leather you are using. All you need to do is a light "kiss" at the right temperature, once you find it on the dial. I would definitely recommend them as well.
PS.. I ordered my stamp yesterday when your video came out and I just got an e-mail from them saying that my order had shipped!!! Now that's impressive. Thanks for the heads up.
I've ordered a few stamps from them, I'm very happy with the quality! They are quick, efficient, and great about communicating the status of your order. I'd pass on their heating iron if I had to do it again as I like to have better control over the temperature and I've found the completely unmarked dial to be useless. I ended up creating an adapter for my soldering iron, which has a digital temperature readout) so I would have better control. When I have a temperature tuned in I write it down on the roll that contains my stock.
Been waiting to order a brass version of my Maker's Mark for awhile now. Been using one that I 3D printed in PLA up until now but it doesn't stamp well into chrome and due to the thin lines in my mark if I go too hard on the arbor press it breaks the stamp.
hey @makesupply leather. how does colour infill works for you on Masked laser engraved leather. if i use a leather dye in the Masked engraving it sometimes starts to chip off. i can't figure out how can i substitute Leather marking by colour infill engravinig.
I just got mine from them yesterday. Disappointed is an understatement. Mine must've come off the CNC when the quality control team was at lunch. The perimeter of the logo is milled down to a knife edge that's razor sharp and actually cuts into the leather. Also, the surface of the stamp is not flat; some sections are higher or lower than others. As a result, about 85% of the stamp doesn't even contact the surface of the workpiece, making it completely unusable. Definitely disappointed, especially since I've seen nothing but great reviews, and the proof they sent me (which I approved) was spot on. Now I have to send it back and hope that the second time's the charm.
@@leatherstampmaker2402 Hey, John. Wow, I had actually completely forgotten about this comment, and thinking about it now, I realize that it was definitely written with a much harsher tone than was warranted. I really wish that I had waited a bit before running off at the mouth like I did. I actually spoke with you on the phone regarding the issue and you were super understanding about the whole deal. I remember that you immediately offered me a refund, but I declined and really wanted a replacement stamp, which I got just a few days after our conversation. And, as expected, the replacement is absolutely perfect, works great, both with and without foil. I've used it on leather, wood, pvc, and cardstock without any issues. I'm currently working on a couple of new logo designs and when they're finished, I'll be placing another order. Thanks again!
@@matchstickdesignco Thanks Matchstick no worries at all! Glad your enjoying the stamp now and we would love to see some more of your work! Always happy to help, we don't want anyone feeling stuck with a stamp. Thank you!

Thanks Justin (though I wish you'd included a sample of a mallet-driven impression). I'm about to place an order too!
Love mine! Use it all the time!
that's a cool looking stamp. i am looking for a stamp thanks and have a great week
Thank you!❤👍
I highly recommend Custom Leather Stamps. They are fast and have great customer service.

Great review, thank you for sharing.
hi love your work...how can u get a raised logo stamp for vinyl and leather material
It would have been interesting to also see one you stamped with a mallet, just for comparison (for those of us without a press).
One can also use a C clamp: the positioning is a bit tricky but the results are very consistent. It's much better than the mallet overall.
You think those would be good for stamping silver??
question about the thread size of the stamp, is the size universl? all brand and manufuctures uses the same thread size?
Hi! will these type of stamps work on faux leathers or vinyl leathers?

Why are they called "Maker's Mark"? Can any manufacturing company make a "Maker's Mark" stamp or is it only Custom Leather Stamps?

I purchased my stamp from leather makers as well and love it. Where do you purchase your dies?
Thank you so much!
So its possible to do this with clicer press?
Cómo se llama la máquina que usas para hacerle presión al sello??
Thanks pal, just sent in my request.
Weird... When I dry stamp with full grain veg tan it has nice contrast but when I wet it It has no contrast.
Which press did you use and where to purchase?
It is the Weaver 4-ton Press from Weaver Leather.
