It's hard hearing that song, sung by such and angelic voice, and knowing she left us so young! She wasn't some delicate flower but sang like an angel... She was a hard drinking, hard living, strong woman who could cuss us a storm and turn around and, as Mel said, make your heart stop!

Patsy is by far the GOAT of country music female vocalists. There was a terrific 1985 biopic of the same name, "Sweet Dreams," starring Jessica Lange as Patsy, and she was nominated for leading actress. It tells the story of Patsy's tumultuous life leading up to her untimely death. Also, there was another biopic in 1980 about Loretta Lynn called "Coal Miner's Daughter" starring Sissy Spacek who did win the best actress award fur her role as Loretta; she was Patsy's closest friend, and quite a bit of the movie revolves around their friendship (Beverly D'Angelo played the part) up to Patsy's death too. Both terrific pics I highly recommend. Terrific reaction video guys.

I've 58 of her CDs...the way each track is arranged on a CD helps it be sold and bought up by me. There was mentioned on a previous post about wanting to hear her speaking voice. There is an example on a RUclips video called, "Remember Me", and she's doing a duet. Unfortunately, she never got to record a duet; the example is live on a television show she was a guest on. your reaction to old country music is fantastic. Reactions to Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves. and so many others. To bad you could never listen to everything I listened too back then. I enjoy listening to them again. It will never get old to me.

I'm an old fart now but as a little boy I first heard Patsy on a late night radio station out of Bangor Maine, as my dad and I were traveling to northern Maine. Even as a child, I was captivated by her beautiful beautiful voice.

She was the Queen of "feels" in Country, like Ella, and Etta were to Jazz!👍🎶

So sad that her life was cut short. At least we still have her great voice.

She was born with that voice! Only needed a little practice to perfect it! Amazing tone of the vocal register! 3 octaves of perfection!

The first time I heard this song, I felt a chill go down my spine. Sweet Dreams is my favorite Patsy Cline song. She left us too young. Rest in peace, Patsy.
