Can never go wrong with Patsy Cline. "Back in Babys Arms" is good.
Patsy made a song called "Sweet Dreams" before the plane crash that killed her .
You guys should check that one out.So beautiful.
That is my favorite Patsy Cline song.
Great movie also. Of course sad at the end
For anyone who is really digging Patsy Cline-check out some of her duets with Jim Reeves-they are amazing.
Oh yes, absolutely check out Jim Reeves mega hits.
agree Jim was my fav singer
Jim Reeves! Two of the greats!
Glad you are doing more Patsy Cline. This is one of the best country voices around. Patsy had so many great hits such as "Crazy", "She's Got You", "When I Get Through With You", "Sweet Dreams", "So Wrong", "Leavin' on Your Mind", "Walkin' After Midnight", "I Fall To Pieces" "San Antonio Rose", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", "Half As Much", "He Called Me Baby", "Faded Love", "Imagine That". She was only 31 when she died in a plane crash in 1963. In 1985 Jessica Lange starred in the movie about Patsy's life called "Sweet Dreams".
Patsy Cline A few songs of hers that don`t get mentioned. YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU … YOU BELONG TO ME … ALWAYS
Sweet Dreams a MUST!
I absolutely love Patsy Cline!!!
The songs Sweet Dreams and Faded Love are her best ones I think. This was her first major hit that got her noticed on the Aurther Godfrey talent show. Yes Loretta was absolutely devastated by Patsy's death and said she she still has gifts and Momentos of hers till this day. She also named one of her daughters after her.
I love you guys Patsy and Loretta Lynn are the absolutely the best! I never heard a bad song by either! Please don’t stop these reactions they are getting me through some really bad times.
🙏🏻🙏🏻 that things get better for you. 💁🏻♀️
@@ithilnin123 Thank you!
Just put God in it, Honey,, he never fails us !!
Praying that your bad times are gone with the new year! Love and light, music and new dreams are yours for the asking.
Hey Guys No one like Patsy. Yes, Mel, she draws you in. Please react to Sweet Dreams. Peace to guys.
Patsy was from my home state of Virginia she grew up not far from where I did and she is a true legend.
If you haven't done "Sweet Dreams " you haven't truly experienced Patsy Cline! It's my all time favorite song by any female artist!!!
Sweet Dreams is my favorite song of Patsy's.
"SWEET DREAMS"!!!! - Patsy Cline~
Back In Baby's Arms !!!! Patsy's finest ....
Another great country singer was Crystal Gayle who was Loretta Lynn’s sister try Don’t it Make My Brown Eyes Blue by Crystal you won’t regret it!
Yes, Sweet Dreams...Sweet Dreams of You...
We lived in the country with nothing around my Dad would play his guitar while my sister and sang this..
Patsy can sing thank you
Sweet dream! Absolutely have to to listen to this song!
The next lady of country you should experience is Tammy Wynette: Stand by your man- Your good girl is gonna go bad-Apartment #9-Our D.i.v.o.r.c.e- and I don't wanna play house is just a start to her incredible list of songs, and not even mentioning her outstanding duets with George Jones.
I like Tammy Wynette's cover of "Cry."
Listen to Patsy Cline I Cried All The Way To The Altar
Her voice has the cryin built right in there!👍🤪😎😎no other like her. Btw..this is a nice one to dance to…with your lov. Er! Such a loss. What she may have given us had she lived!! Pure talent. Giant voice and soo smooth! Powerful too!! Dan loves ur chann, from north florida..12/21/21
The best female singer ever
No she is the greatest singer of all time
Oh yea, another one of her mega hits. Please play, Two Cigarretts.
Crazy is her biggest hit.
I fall to pieces is my favorite by Patsy
As close to an angels voice I can imagine , my momma and grandma loved her !
Aww, another great song by her. SWEET DREAMS may be my favorite of hers.Actually one of my favorite songs of all times.
Can’t wait for crazy
Patsy is in a LEAGUE OF HER OWN ❤️❤️
my personal favorite of patsy cline " if you got leavin on your mind"..
You gotta hear this Slowed Down !
Song's Slowed Down are just amazing ! The higher the singers voice the better .
I'm a huge fan of Patsy
Mel, I'm loving your hair! I love Patsy Cline.
There are two versions of Walking After Midnight by Patsy Cline. The second version done a few years later was recorded in stereo and became a hit single.
Big hello from Canada I have been following you guys for a long time and sleep with another married couple you two couples are my best and favourite. Mel I have to say your voice is amazing you could be like Patsy Cline and other country music stars realize one thing it's storytelling and you guys have got it in Spade you know white black Chinese whatever you could do country it's telling the story and using your voice seriously thank you so much❤
Beautifully sarcastic, delivered by an angel
The steel guitar in this song so beautiful
Can't hit the like button enough. One of my favs. Love that steel guitar
I love any of Patsy’s songs 💜💗😻🎶☮️ I know you have reacted to K d Lang, well when KD started singing it was Patsy Cline & Roy Orbison tunes! She used to dress like Patsy and later like Roy O🥰 Her band was KD Lang & The Reclines !! Her love of Patsy’s songs will be visible & her singing with Roy O will totally amaze you 😊😎💎💎💜💜
There is another grand lady of country music very much alive, Emmylou Harris. Could you please react to her "C'est la Vie, You Never Can Tell" from The Old Grey Whistle Test concert? It is a Chuck Berry song. "Luxury Liner" follows it & is also pretty wonderful. She always had the best musicians in her band & had such great respect for them, that she would introduce them by name to the audience.
We lost A LOT of musicians too young and many of them in a plane crash. It's so tragically sad.
Now try the male version of Miss Patsy. Jim Reeves has that same smooth, heartfelt sound in his voice. Try He'll Have To Go," "Am I Loosing You," "Am I That Easy To Forget," or his best IMHO "Welcome To My World." You won't be disappointed.
Love Patsy ❤
You should listen to Cassy Joy sing "Blue" by Patsy Cline.. She sounds just like her..great voice
Shawn and Mel, please react to Patsy's masterpiece, Sweet Dreams! You'll be so glad that you did!
Thank you for keeping reacting to Patsy
Great to see you enjoying Patsy Cline
I just love her voice
PS there is soul and country music and black-and-white are awesome at doing that seriously it's all about bringing the story
I'm not too familiar with current singers so for the singers i do know about, she's one ofthe absolute best. You would think many of her songs were from her own experiences even if you heard the same song from three or four other artists..."Crazy" was written by Willie Nelson. She's receorded so many great songs and these are my suggestions I know will have you guys break out the Kleenex...."She's got you" "Leaving on your mind" "Why can't he be you".
Her voice! Yes! She has a way of making a song her own 💘
Patsy Cline, still the queen!
Love it love it love it
Patsy Cline "Them Shoes"
Blue moon of Kentucky is a uptempo she does a great job on as well
Classic. Excellent choice.
Mel, I love your hair like that, reminds me of a young Mary Wells or Etta James. Patsy died way too young in a plane crash . Ya'll gotta see the movie "Coal Miners Daughter".
One of my (and my dad's) favorites. Peace, Love! Lol, If you don't know how to swing dance or two-step, you might want to think about adding that to your arsenal. Peace, Love some more!
Patsy had a voice that transcends time.
Mel- You look stunning today!!! 😍 So glad y'all are loving Patsy. She was special to so many of us back in the day. I appreciate you keeping her music alive. 😘
Patsy Cline was is still is the best female singer. So sad that she left us too soon.
Oh yeah ,my very favorite Patsy Cline song.
She was amazing!!
Patsy cline could sing the phone book and make it sound good
I would like to suggest that since this is Christmas season that you react to a song by Home Free "Do You Hear What I Hear"
Besides all the people she took under her wing during her career before her untimely passing, she has inspired singers of later generations as well. LeAnn Rimes comes to mind. Nobody will ever replace Patsy though!
Patsy has always been one of my idols. Gone way way too soon! Great reaction ❤️ y’all
Mel, your hair looks so pretty. It always looks pretty, but today even more. If you ever watch coal miners daughter, follow it up with Patsy Cline story called Sweet Dreams , its a fav too.
Hey Shawn & Mel! I love seeing your smiling faces! Good music and good people.😊💯
Try Patsy Cline’s “Leavin’ On Your Mind” - if it doesn’t wrench your heart straight out of your chest, you don’t have a heart at all.
Here voice is Butter I'm telling you.
Yes, please react to her song” Sweet Dreams”! One of my favorites by her and her voice in that song is just mesmerizing to me and hopefully y’all too! Love seeing y’all’s reactions to different artists and eras and genres! Keep ‘em coming plz!
One of my favorite Patsy songs!
"Leaving On Your Mind", "She's Got You", "Why Can't He Be You"....❤❤❤❤
Please react to "Sweet Dreams". It was released after her death.
One of the greatest female voices in modern music of any genre.
I would also like to suggest that you take the time to listen to songs by the US Navy Band. They have a wide variety of Christmas songs, but I really think you would enjoy some of their medley arrangements. Jersey Boys, Songs from the 60's, A Motown tribute, and many others. They are a phenomenal group of performers.
Do yourselves a favor and watch her life story film, Sweet Dreams with Jessica Lange.
Patsy Cline was and is the Greatest Female Sanger of all time Country Gospel Blues Nashville sound anything she went to sang just great Crazy Dream is one of my all time favorite
Love that you are all into Patsy! This is great!
Please do "Sweet Dreams", one of her most beautiful & beloved songs. There's also a great movie about Patsy, also called "Sweet Dreams". You both should watch it and "Coal Miners Daughter" (that one won Sissy Spacek an Oscar for her portrayal of Loretta Lynn) which depicts Patsy's & Loretta's friendship.
Both movies are really well done & so entertaining.💙
The song Blue was written for Patsy Cline. He believed Leann Rimes was deserved of the song. History. ❤
Yes!
Reacting to my girl Patsy. She is the Queen of Country. Such a beautiful woman and great talent cut down short by a plane crash. :(
❤️🥰❤️ Hello S & M SQUAD, HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!! ☃️❄️🎄⭐️ I am thrilled you liked this song!!! ⭐️ would you kindly play “SWEET DREAMS,” next? Pretty please and Thank you very, very much, in advance!!! ⭐️As always, with love ~ Laura💖
❤️ 🥰❤️ S and M SQUAD IS THE BEST!!! ❤️🥰❤️
Patsy!
sweet dreams and the movie is the story of her life
Patsy Cline's Best Song: SWEET DREAMS!! You both just have to watch the movie about Patsy Cline!! The movies name is also called: Sweet Dreams... Fun fact: Loretta Lynn and Patsy were great friends 😍
This time period had the careers of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton going on at the same time.
Patsy is great abd almost everything she sang wa wonderful but this is my favorite of hers. Thank you!
oh the memories this brings back to dancing to these songs. love
Patsy was such an AMAZING artist!!! I grew up on her!! She led me to Loretta Lynn and many more country artists!!
The first women in country were the Carter family. Maybelle Carter and her 3 daughters. One of them, June Carter married Johnny Cash. I don't think you have reacted to them. June wrote Ring of Fire for Johnny because that's how she felt. Their duet Jackson is cool too.
We love Patsy, too. Please react to one of her faster songs, like Turn the Cards Slowly.
I'm so glad you did this one. One of my favs. Next up should be Sweet Dreams.
Please react to Jazz singer Nancy Wilson. You will not be disappointed. The song is Guess who I saw today
Love Patsy. Great reaction as always. Home Free's version of Mary Did You Know? is something to listen to for the season. You might want to do Eartha Kitt's version of Santa Baby. Eartha played a sultry Cat Woman in the 60's Batman series. Cheers from Canada
