I first leaned about cigars watching the film Parrish (1961). Karl Malden is a tobacco farmer in Connecticut. He cuts one of his cigars in half and takes it apart to explain the wrapper and different tobaccos in it. Their origin and purpose.
If you haven't seen it, that scene is worth a watch. .

One of my favorite cigars, great notes, and transition. Strong roast did caramel and cedar notes, which is unusual, but great pairing with bourbon.

Old Henry cigars are almost entirely sold out! After this review, I was thinking about ordering some. Looks like I’ll have to wait a bit on that. 😢

This cigar kind of reminds me of a cigar called "The Bouncer Sun Grown" made by American Carribbean cigars it has a bulldog in its logo and also flavour wise many similarities in how it was described in the video, although the bouncer is leaning towards more pepper specially the 1/3 and is a box pressed cigar.
Sounds like a very complex cigar.Just bought my first two My Father cigars the other day, can't wait✌️💨

How’s it compare to the Ashton VSG.
If you can afford VSG for an extra $6 buy a few a compare it yourself.

Oh I have a humidor full of VSG. One of my favs. The VSG, La aroma de Cuba baseline, Jaime Garcia reserva and padron 64 Maduro are my top go to sticks.
The VSG is a different animal because it has Dominican filler and binder but uses the same wrapper, so the Pure Breed using Sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan filler is almost a crossover between the VSG and La Aroma de Cuba original
