Also to the lad and the fella with a dog who came and spoke to us for ages, thank you and it was an honor. 10/10 to chris for making a fishless trip entertaining to watch on here. The mans a living legend! If theres a next time I will try may hardest not to come across as shy infront of the camera. Chris just does it au natural in comparison. Pleasure was all mine lad 👍

great vid , this loch was doing mid to high thirties in the 80s , thanks to the other popular lochs in the area this loch was lightly fished compared to today , like most of the lochs in dumfries and galloway are not what they once were.

Yeah mate same with the river and canal just near my house, there's not a pike to be seen anymore. They don't just take pike though there's been long lines found that were baited for any coarse fish, they especially like perch aswell I heard but they just get left to take whatever they want. I've never heard of anyone getting into any trouble for it, I always thought it was a serious crime to be doing that, its a big shame cos its absolutely ruined the fishing in a lot of places.

I now get the bog roll hoarding why they did it they all thought covid was like a cold that your nose will run that much you use a roll a day having just had this bad cold (man flu) ....lol going round i have been through a roll a day with snot so glad they not done this time in my hr of need ....lol
