My caravan is literally 5 minutes from Castle Loch . First fished it 47 years ago. Big bream back in the day. I've got bad COPD now and my mobility is severely limited. There's 2 more Lochs in Lochmaben, Kirk Loch which is in Lochmaben, access the road next to the Crown Hotel to get to the Loch. Piking supposedly good and Mill Loch which is through Lochmaben. Again pike,bream and roach. Mill Loch is very deep in places. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and good luck. Oh Kirk Loch and Mill Loch is free fishing. Tight lines

Fished that loch many times but caught my pb 27 lb on a loch not far from there , great video by the way 👍

Really enjoyed this one, especially with being from this area, but only fished Castle Loch the once.
You can also look up the depth charts of most of the lochs online which can help a bit as well.
That was a lovely pike you caught, and looking forward to the next episode! 🐊👍
