Dudes a fucking genius for buying those Battle Style cases. Sets have wayyyy shittier chase cards, art wise, blowing the sleeping Tyranitar out of the water value wise, and it makes little to no sense. Like that Paldean Fates Mew, albeit Mew is very popular, the card looks like it was illustrated by Bob Ross after a fentanyl smoking session. Certain XY sets had hardly any great chase cards, but because they’re older and more rare, the sealed boxes sell for a shitload. That’ll be Battle Styles in a few years.
It's funny I was going to sell my raw bubble Mew a few months ago when it originally spiked up but decided to get it graded. Wound up getting a PSA 10 so I'll take it lol
price rises in singles aren't about the price of the raw card actually rising. people continue to pay higher premiums for nm singles based on the grading play. if a card looks more like a 10 than a 9 from ebay listings etc, then the price rises. ppl who buy no picture on tcg player are not the ppl who move the price on singles
Poke Profit, can you do a video on how the TCG Player algorithm determines market price? It seems there are a lot of misconceptions going around the hobby. For instance, do ebay sales actually impact TCG Player market price, or does their algorithm only count sales on TCG Player? How many cards need to sell at a certain price for that price to be considered the new market price? So many questions about the market price calculation that the majority of the hobby uses as the gold standard for market price, but I really don’t fully understand their calculations.
Not an expert either so I'm not going to make a video on it. That said, this is directly from TCGPlayer's site: help.tcgplayer.com/hc/en-us/articles/213588017-TCGplayer-Market-Price
@@PokeProfitthanks, that helps shed a little bit of light! Looks like they only use internal data based on completed sales via TCGPlayer and also take into account current listings.
Another SECRET INVESTMENT TIP that totally isn’t financial advice... but also kinda is. Just don’t forget to like, subscribe, and HODL those bulk holos! 😂🔥
Bubble mew is just too good. It wont go down. It's a beautiful card and it was hard to pull. Best card in this era in my opinion. I pulled 2 of those bad boys. Still in shock!

Markers is nuts, I don't see a slowdown anytime soon. 😂
I wish I lived in Canada. USA is a mess.
Canada is whack too man.
I get better healthcare in Colombia than I do here. And millions flood here with zero desire to assimilate.
