I’m not sure why invest is in quotations, but I do agree most people would rather invest in newer sets with lower risk. That said, some people are crushing it with older investments still.

Never too late to invest in out of print sets. In 5 years these prices will be much higher. Likely double to triple sealed product.

We also have to take into account print runs, but I do agree it’s a good comparison.

@@PokeProfita little bit of everything if I can get them decently discounted. I mainly wanted them for display because I love XY. My heavy investment is steam siege though. For some reason my LCS are selling them for $210 and they’re going for $350 rn. Quick flip for me

@@PokeProfit in northern Virginia. Yeah 100% legit. Got a sealed case of them from the shop. They have cases of every set stacked going all the way back to XY. I drooled when I saw a case of team up BB.

Same for me. I’d rather buy a case of SV Base set than buy a Roaring Skies BB. But that’s just my opinion.

@@PokeProfit It's not in the meta though. It's not competitively viable. Maybe you're thinking of Roaring moon, which has fallen out of favor after Twilight masquerade.

@@RyukADA Weird. Pokebeach put out an article 3 weeks ago about it coming into the Meta. It was apparently a counter for Roaring Moon (if I remember the article correctly) so I guess that would make sense.
