My Traditional Lockdown Banana Bread Recipe. Been baking it all the time because I'm bored and I keep stupidly buying bananas when shopping online. Saves on food waste and I like eating things.
Recipe
140g each of self-raising flour, softened butter, softened and caster sugar
2 large eggs, remember to beat them like I didn't
1tsp baking powder
2 very old bananas, mashed
1tsp of vanilla extract
an optional squirt of maple syrup
Cream the butter/sugar, mix in the eggs, fold in the flour, baking powder, bananas and anything else you want to add. Chocolate chips? Why not.
