- Today we take a look at Stirling Lines, a British Army garrison in Credenhill, Herefordshire, the headquarters of the 22 Special Air Service Regiment and the Special Reconnaissance Regiment. The site was formerly a Royal Air Force non-flying station for training schools, known as RAF Credenhill. #SAS, #whodareswins
always found that MoD police are the most professional and polite compared to the standard cops
@@MikSF123 yes totally agree with you.
We see their helicopters all the time refueling at Bournemouth Airport going to or coming from the SBS base af Poole.
could not understand a word
Did twenty months training there from 1960 onwards as an RAF boy entrant.
@@raybenstead2548 I bet you have some stories about this place.
@@WyeindependantMedia Lol I was just 15 years and 9 months old at the time of entry and in those days the billets were all wooden huts. as far as i can remember i was in hut 114 Portal Lines. I still remember our drill instructors names though best not give them. Training at our ages was tough. If ever you watched Bad Lads Army series on TV that is what we endured. Did eleven years and three months service and then demobbed in 1971. The youth of today has no idea what life was like in those days.
My dad was an instructor there in the fifties, and we lived in married quarters across the road from there
"Blue Thunder" heliocopter - seen at the london bridge terror attacks....interesting video thanks for posting
@@MikSF123 thanks for viewing
Named after David Stirling a Great Scot
amazing information thankyou
I fail to see why you would put this footage in the public domain. You could be putting lives at risk as you've failed to obscure the number plates of the vehicles leaving and entering the camp, a nefarious foreign power could possibly glean intelligence from this and the various shots of the camp. Why do you feel it necessary to potentially expose the people who are there to protect us from all threats, foreign and domestic?
You do get a few knobs who do not think of the implications of what they are doing🤬🤬🇬🇧
Take this down..... as if the ain't got enough problems....
Maybe that Police Officer is ex SAS.
Could be, although nobody will no for sure, but it'll certainly explain why he's so much more polite & professional than 99% of other police out there these days.
If you want to be taken seriously then you need to sort out your sond recording.
something we will work on.
the legendary clock tower memorial can be seen at 6:08
very well spotted, we could only find one photo online of the clock tower, its a shame its hidden away like this.
it's not cool
How dare these people expose this place it supposed to be private, and these lads save lives for the likes of these idiots putting all this on line, how dare you, you should not be allowed to do this, do you know the harm it can cause to the lads and lasses who put their lives on the line for you every day. Again HOW BLOODY DARE YOU
its a tribute video.
