I own this fridge. It’s amazing. Feeds 4 people for 4-5 days and fits breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. Most importantly why I purchased it is because of how is doesn’t ever go over 1° degree from it’s set point. Other brands temp varies 5° some cases even 7° degree differences. Only thing is your gonna need at least 100amp hour battery to power it for extremely hot days even if insulated like mine if you plan on going out for more than 3days and not able to set up a solar panel because you forgot it at home.
@@bobnewhart4318 when it’s at temperature with everything chilled about 70-75watts when you just turn it on I’ve seen as high as 105watts. when prechilled for 24hrs like before leaving on a trip it uses about 630watt hours in 36hrs with my EB70. With a size 27 deep cycle marine battery I’ve gotten 40hrs. Of course all using 12v for best efficiency and outside temp 75° temperature. In hotter 85° temperatures calculate double the amount of power draw.
The #cfx3 95 is the best, I've used it in the desert camp last week and didn't need any power for a week, thanks to the #Anker 757 with solar. all cooled and good.
@@NomadicInnovations thanks for the reply. That's too bad. I like your shop and RUclips channel, but I guess I'll keep looking for a Canadien distributer. Last time I ordered something that I got charged duty for, I paid like 300$ over what it would of cost in Canada.
@@NomadicInnovations so I ended up purchasing the cfx3 95dz. Sadly not from you guys😪. I'm just wondering if you know if I'm right? The wifi is only a LAN network it will not connect to your home router? So you can't leave your house or van and access the settings from say a grocery store? No one mentions this in the reviews. Flippen beast of a unit!👍🏾
Stinks, I have the 75 version which would maybe be enough space but the right side is L shape so only half the space. Tough call whether to spend another 1-1400 for the extra space but would be nice…
Yeah but half as good. Every RV dealership is a Dometic dealer. REI, Walmart carry them. Every marine boat shop does as well. Dometic has built up a dealer support network for their products. Setpower is a subsidiary of Indel B. They are the same as Adventure Kings in Australia, been out over there longer than here. And the Australians say they are hot garbage. Indel B/Truckfridge/Iceco/Kings/Setpower/Kickass are all common chassis Chinese garbage. Good fridge manufacturers like Dometic and National Luna quit using Secop compressors after the production was moved from Denmark to China. Indel B has a contract to use the Secop/Danfoss name. But are made by Huayi in China. Plus Dometic is a Swedish company. I'm sure the fridges are made in China. But it's all in house.
@@DutchK75 good information. I was wondering why Dometic stopped using Danfoss compressors. I figured with the other brands you never know if the quality was good or bad. No copy rights in China.

Do you folks ship to Hawaii?
We sure do!
I'm currently shopping around for one of these units. Do you know if Canadiens get charged duty fees on delivery, if ordered from your shop?
Yes the Canadian government charges import duties

I think the cameraman was named Kenny but I'm not too sure.
right off i see its not as beefy as they first made them...
How many watts does this unit draw?
The website says 1.81 Ah/h, for 39f. So that's about 22 watts per hour. I'm guessing it's more if you want part of it to be a freezer.
gallon of milk ? half a gallon of milk ?

To expensive. The Setpower fridge and others out there are half the price of these dometic fridges.
