Not exactly. Actually I understood a lot about this stuff by simply looking at waveforms and imagining over and over again, how the actual waveform triggers my loudspeakers. Also understanding the idea of fourier transformation helps a lot. But I study physics, so some knowledge might derive from that too. :D
Good to see that your back mate! I love your technical ways I learn a lot. How do you get a punch like the one on 0:41 seconds I tried a lot but still no good result. Could you do a tutorial on that one please? Other than that keep it up you help a lot of producers this way!
Hello Mr. BRUTALIZER, thanx for nice tutorial. I am traying to solve why most producers using FABs EQs instead of Aletons stock EQs. And Ableton has saturation and distrortion plugins too. Could you please tell me why are you using them? It would help me a lot, beacuse I am considering to purchase Trash2 and FAB EQs or complete Ableton version. thank you very much in advance. CN
Hi man! Thanks for dropping a comment :) I use the Fab-Filters (and especially the Pro Q 2) as it comes along very handy. You can tweak it so nicely and work out very fine structured eq-curves. Furthermore, it's steepness is very high (96db/oct) which is actually a brickwall. So a Low-Cut done at 96db/oct with a linear phase, will result in a veeeery clear signal. Considering to buy trash and Fab Filters, will not at all disappoint you! Definitely go for both of them, if you really want some very good vst-effect plugs, that will still satisfy you 10 years later. The ableton stuff is nice too, I use the EQ sometimes when I automate peaks, because abletons automations don't work well with fab filters. As long as I dont need to automate peaks, I use fab filters. The Trash2 is a giant. It has lots of nice distortion, antisymmetric distortion (which is a nice alternative to logics clip dist) and nice saturation which can be used on leads and so on. Its just a great multitool and for me there's no need of getting any other distortion plugin at the moment, as Trash2 provides literally everything I need. Trash2 + Fab are just my weapons to create any kick I want.
Could happen, but I wouldn't call Trash2 as one of my standard effects on leads. Trash2 has nice saturation! But I love it anyway, don't need any other distortion =D
I don't say it is THE way to achieve good sounds. Just showing my ways, using few plugins. Its also not the plugins, that make the sounds, its always the person using them and these are not the must-haves. I just like them and find them easy to use. Check out the plugins - websites, most of them offer some educational discount or so. I also disagree with "completely useless". Nothing is completely useless, if you just put shitloads of effort in what you want to achieve. I remember my first lectures on electrodynamics when I thought "fuck I'll never get my head around this" and then I just forced myself and tried and failed and tried and failed until I got it right. Just a matter of self-discipline and aims. It took me btw more than 5 years to achieve this quality of sound and I still find lots of problems in my productions. I sure btw, its possible to achieve such sounds with stock plugins only. Just be creative and try things out. Yep, that takes lots of time, so after years I decided to get a few very well-selected plugins, that will save time and make it easier to achieve distinct sounds.
such a good tutorial thanks
High quality content man. Thanks a lot dude.
keep up the good work my friend :)
Finally back! Thanks a lot for the video! You explain so simple how it worka... I would love to see how you explain a hardstyle lead!
check out the other video I uploaded today ;)
@@Hardsonix omg you read my mind hahaha 😊
That kick is veery close to what angerfist usually do, very good job, I love that
Love the tutorials much appreciated
Thanks for the tutorial! Could you do a tutorial on the "blue" kick at 0:39?
Unai Zabaleta Sure man! Ive got many requests about kicks like these.. Ill do that for sure!
@@Hardsonix Thank you!
Instant subscribe! Thank you for a great tutorial!
Best man in the Internet💪👍
I love how much you go into depth about a simple filter xD
Are you studying engineering ?

@@Hardsonix - That makes sense. You delivered your point with equal parts passion and "this is so obvious, you silly mortals!" :P
Broooo, finally. Please do a newschool kick
I will :)

Thanks mate :) Ah yeah, I'll do that! Definitely on the agenda.
@@Hardsonix thanks man I was looking almost on a daily basis on your channel if you posted again. Thanks to you I learn more theories!

Do you ever use Trash2 on your Leads? (either on a single layer, or on a lead bus?)
Could happen, but I wouldn't call Trash2 as one of my standard effects on leads. Trash2 has nice saturation! But I love it anyway, don't need any other distortion =D
Can you upload the YT kick for download, as i cant find the tutorial.....besides i dont understand german and i dont use FL :P
Warum nur 360p? XD
Video wird verarbeitet, das dauert immer etwas bis das auf 1080p ist
COULD YOU DO THE SAME TUTORIAL ONLY USING STUDIO ONE? PLEASE
it´s actually the same...
Collab Bro!
Nice tutorial but completely useless for a beginner, because i cant afford all these plugins and the ableton plugins i cant even get close to this
