Was fun to hear your progress. Not sure i found the content to be very useful doe. Don't know how to explain it, hmm. It's vague. If that makes sense. Ty for video :D
1:47 I hear Zatox from 10 years ago. But perhaps it is just the screetch which sounds like the one in "How Much Can You Take". Personally I like the old ones but the 2020 is fking dope man.
I'm making a doomcore/darkcore track at the moment and I'm actually super happy with how my kick turned out for it. I'm surprising myself to be honest since while I have made kicks the past, I wasn't making them all the time and constantly learning. It's actually the second kick I've made this year, the first kick was for an extremely experimental 300bpm terrorcore type track which I made in the Cubase 11 trial (though I decided to getting FL Studio after). One thing I particularly enjoy about hardstyle and hardcore kicks is that you can just play around with any distortion type, and more different types of effects until you eventually find something you love. Plus, having Kick 2 or any other drum synthesizer that you can play with the settings of even post-processing can help find the sound you want. Kick production might just be my favourite thing in hard dance music production.
Thanks for the tips! 🙂 I just got back into producing after a 10 years break. It's really cool to see how different techniques has evolved since I was active! 😁
Thanks for the tricks man this is helpful and encouraging, i know how stressful it was in making kick process, people keep suggesting using sample available but my desire will never fulfilled in producing if i give up on them. Once again thank you
@CLOCKARTZ I am trying to make a NC crunchy kick. I am only using Distroyer only as distortion plugin. The problem I have is when I use many instances of eq and Distroyers on the Drumazon 909 I can never achieve the tail growl and crunch. The tail sound I get just sounds like a weak low passed saw wave. How can I get that crunch and growl tail sound with Distroyer? What pre filters settings in Distroyer should I set it to etc?
I think the key is to analyze the kick that you want to remake and then make several layers with all kind of different parts that you need to come to your end result. I think making it from 1 sound is going to be hard.
lots of careful layering to get the character and lots of subtle tweaking after the main character is achieved. I exported my kick 20+ times even after the character of the tail and tok were achieved and blended well
Hey Clockartz, what style kick is 3:40? Hardstyle is so fun to dance and listen to at live concert/festival with this kick, but I don't know what type of kick it is. I would love to popularize it more with USA scene, because I'm more familiar with this region and it would be very popular here.
Most recent is the sweetest imo , thank you for video , bro . Seriously , let's do a collab pliz? just once , i'm more in melodies and you can create nice kick-bass
Heftig. Hätte auch Bock selber Songs zu Producen weil mir paar Melodien und Ideen im Kopf schweben. Hab nur keine Ahnung wie und wo ich anfangen soll 🤔
(sad thing is I lowkey stopped hardstyle production because of that dang kick making, just can't get behind it lol. who knows maybe I can learn it in-between all the future rave I'm making)
2018: Hello my name is Clockartz and now I sound like Headhunterz back in 2012 with Dragonborn xD (not offending) but the similarity is too obvious. By the way: BIG PROPS to everyone who uses FabFilter by Dan Worral
Thanks you! I need to keep them in english unfortunately, because my audience is from all over the world! But you can always ask me things in german, that’s no problem :)
Hey Clockartz, produzieren die meisten Hardstyle DJs mit Cuebase oder ist das sehr gemischt? Ich würde gerne auch anfangen Musik zu machen, würde aber direkt gerne mit dem richtigen Programm einsteigen. Danke dir!
I miss the long distorted tails of old. Hardstyle changed a fair bit the last years, maybe covid gave producers too much time to produce and not actually play it 🤔
2017 kick was a whole different vibe 🥳😀
I love this video and i see Cubase!!!
thank youz Ray! yeah it is cubase ;)

Yes🔥
Cubase in German settings?
Never thought you are German.

2014 - 2018. Missing that kind of kicks !! 😢
2014 kick. So good 👊
"I guess" my man it sounds like a good kick for that era of hardstyle don't be so modest 😂🙌
Hello, I love the kick of 2014 and 2018, any tips to make such good tails like this (3:40) ? they sound so good !
lots of careful layering to get the character and lots of subtle tweaking after the main character is achieved. I exported my kick 20+ times even after the character of the tail and tok were achieved and blended well
what the hell is this style kick called, it's so much better than the garbage raw style and sharp punchy kicks you hear for the last 4-5 years
Yes, i learned something here. Thank you 🎶🎧
then i am happy! thanks for watching ;)
Amazing vid m8 could maybe do a gated kick tutorial in the future?
Thank you Henno, Good idea☺️
0:44 I HATE THIS SHIIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whats call it?
Sounds like a most aggressive Techno Rumble.
Great kicks! However, these "punches" before distortion do not sound like 909 at all. ;)
do you distort the reverb part after you've stemmed it?
Normally i don’t do that, but definitely possible :)
2012-2018👍😀
2018-…….🤮🤮🤮🤮 hardstyle умер….все ,расходимся

So 2017 is when kicks went stupid and lost all flavor? Give me an old kick any day. 2018 was a nice return
Heftig. Hätte auch Bock selber Songs zu Producen weil mir paar Melodien und Ideen im Kopf schweben. Hab nur keine Ahnung wie und wo ich anfangen soll 🤔
aller anfang ist schwer :)
Thank you clockartz!❤
what will happen on 2025 kick🤣🔥🤟
Waaait you're using Cubase in german? :D
Yup hahaha
Hey dude, you forgot to link your discord server! :-)
oh thanks, its now in the description! :)
Very nice Video. But what I heard is not evolving your personal experience, just only the progression of hardstyle in this years.
amazing kicks man! i think you forgot "nothing last forever" kick, i really love it and also one of my favorite from you
oh yeah, well i have many more hehe. I just showed you 1 for each year so you could hear the revolution! xD
(sad thing is I lowkey stopped hardstyle production because of that dang kick making, just can't get behind it lol. who knows maybe I can learn it in-between all the future rave I'm making)
i like 2012 the most
do you make a kick sample pack in the future ? :)) especially with the 2020 kick in the video ! would buy that
maybe :)
@@Clockartz 😍 Yeahh I'm Hopeing 😉🙌
Can you make a tutorial on that 2012 kick style please? The 2015 one is also nice
hardstyle is always close to my heart, your stuff is very good!
Thank you😽
wtf, u r german?
0:44 this one is massive!
thank you man!
Funny to see that you are using Cubase with german language.
Can you renew the discord link? It's expired.
Done ;)

Nice information Thnx for sharing.
Its not better or worse, but different styles
feier dein video sehr! bin auch gerade am lernen, hilft mir sehr! :)
Kein problem Max🔥🤞🏻
I don't know if it's just me, but I always hear tails go into stereo. is that a thing a to do orrrrrrr?
As long it sounds good :)
Really nice tutorial bro! Thanks from Italy! 🙏🇮🇹
Thank you mate🤞🏻
Music from intro?
Clockartz - Sinners ;)
Nice video Sir. Do you also work with saturation vsts on kicks? If so, which ones?
thank you!

2020 What a Kick I Love it FCK CORONA
Thank you mate🙏🏻
Amazing how you've spoken for 13 minutes and said absolutely nothing... but lets hear your new kick again.
very interesting!
👍 Thank you!
thank you!

Beta Boy origins 🔥
haha you say it
What camera do u use? Amazing video!!
Mostly Sony‘s :)
Maybe you can add a reverse reverb to get the same result? Just thinking…
wirklich cooles tutorial, aber ich würde mich sehr über deutsche tutorials freuen, da diese sehr selten sind
Thanks you! I need to keep them in english unfortunately, because my audience is from all over the world! But you can always ask me things in german, that’s no problem :)
4:00 tutorialllllllllllllllllll
Very cool 😊
thank you Melanie ;)
@@Clockartz You're welcome👍😊

What kind of pc's keyboard?
It‘s the microsoft designer keyboard ☺️
@@Clockartz tks bro
Anyone know the tracks from 0:35 to 0:50?
Breaking, Delirium, Time To Rock, Dirty Italy. All from me, Clockartz ;)
How do you add bass to it? it's not a normal sub like in house is it?
it depends, layering a regural sinus wave to it or taking the lowend of my distorded tails and adjust it until it sounds sweet ;)
@@Clockartz great, thanks
would be cool if you have let us listen all and then talking on them!
1:47 fuckin hell this would kill me
Hehe ☺️
How tf did he instantly render that kick in CUBASE?!
Hey Theo, there is a function called "render in place". When you select all items that you want to render and rightclick > render in place :)
@@Clockartz ahhh, yeah after a little clicking I found it under the edit tab, maybe it's that on mac rather than right click, cheers
@@theowels5773 no problem mate! its really usefull hehe
@@Clockartz yeah haha, it doesn't seem to render any reverb or delay tails tho 🤷♂️which could potentially be a pain. Still nice to know about it
00:38 Is this a real track?
Yeep :)
@@Clockartz Hey mate. Can you tell me the title?
@@zeepster delirium
💣💣💣💣💣💣
Song name at 0:44 please?
Clockartz & Malice - Dirty Italy
reverse bass FTW!!!
damn they all sound fire man bigups
Mouse?
Logitech one, can not really remember the model... haha will check it the next time in the studio ;)
Du bist deutsch richtig ?
Italiener aber spreche deutsch, lange geschichte😅
Nice and clean 😉
Thanks for the tips!
You are welcome🎄
Dope video!
thank you!
Awesome to see your development !!
Love how the kicks gets worse every year. Not a diss to the producer at all, but the trend in hardstyle kicks has really been going downhill... :(
🙏🏻
I miss the long distorted tails of old. Hardstyle changed a fair bit the last years, maybe covid gave producers too much time to produce and not actually play it 🤔
You don't know what you talking about clearly... the new stylez and kick's is superior ! 🙌
Bist du jetzt Deutsch oder nicht?
Alles was du willst😻

@@Clockartz ctrl.alt.del. is may fav kick and 2010-2012 era was nice :)
