    Wonderboy listening to Mr. Ballen ("strange, dark, and mysterious") while running hills is the most relatable thing I've ever seen from a UFC superstar. I love his fighting style, his personality, and now, I love seeing how he trains. Very cool video, Sensei Seth!

    The Chemistry between you und Stephen is special. Wonderboy is really one of a kind. Just turned 40 but kicking it like a 25 year old. And Sweet-T is a freaking sleeper, never thought he would be so fast with his build.

      @@xerone10 no, not sure if you play fought much as a child but its extremely hard to injure eachother at that age, your bones are soft and still "flexy" i remember play fighting with my friends all the time at that size and the worst that ever happened was someone wpuld cry from pain. Trust me its better they learn now than wait till they are grown to start, thats when you can get seriously injured

    Taking a minute to talk about his character and how he makes people feel good about themselves was the right thing to do, man. If I had to pick between everyone knowing how to fight and everyone knowing how to be as good to people as Wonderboy, I know which one I’d pick.
    You’re one of the good ones too, Seth, just so you know. Taking a minute to point that out about Wonderboy proves it alone.

      @@SenseiSeth It looks like his speed very much comes from how relaxed he is. It's easier to be fast when you aren't tense at all. Also him and his brother having trained together since they were young probably helps.

    The physical resilience necessary for Mixed Martial Arts is truly astounding. They don't call this Mixed Martial Arts for nothing because this requires strength, stamina, speed, and an extremely high tolerance to pain and pandemonium. Seth, my brother, I commend you for your courage and endurance with Master Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson. And, to Master Thompson, bravissimo to you, sir.

    Hey Seth, the part about meeting Wonderboy and how he made you feel special really hit me in the feels. I took martial arts for about six months before I had to stop because I couldn't make my work schedule fit with my class schedule. Well, I recently started taking classes again after something like a year off and the second I walked in everyone was super excited to see me and super excited to hear that I was gonna be taking classes again. I can't remember the last time I felt so good! It's really cool when someone can make you feel immediately welcome and like you belong there! That story shot me right through the heart!

    Huge props to you, Sensei Seth, for doing this video. And don't sell yourself short. You're a tank and you have heart going into a camp with pro fighters and being game for anything. That's some potential there. You have the size, strength and power. You're no joke. And Stephen Thompson just got a fan in me especially for taking time to hold kids camp during his own camp. Shows where his priorities are.

    Never heard from anyone that wonderboy has fake hustle in any way- training, being a good dude, fighting, he seems like the type who legitimately gives his full attention to everything he does and that relates into being present and thats the thing that makes people feel special themselves and know a person who has that quality when talking to them is special.

    Man the footage doesn’t do it justice for how brutal running those trails is. When I was a wildland firefighter we called it being broke off. Seth, you were broke the F off. Good job though, I admire your perseverance.

    Please do more Training Camp Vids. Basically, Anything will be awesome. I just love watching and learning from the routines you do for fight prep. Just seeing how it is done by the best is so freaking awesome and I try to incorporate any little thing I can from it into my life.

    Awesome video! I really love that you called out Thompsons personality, we need more of that just like you said. The best compliment I ever received as a martial arts instructor was not about my fighting or coaching skills… they said I was the nicest guy you would meet in town. It felt a little weird at first but it has also become my legacy after closing my school which is kind of amazing all things considered.

    13:19 - What earned my respect from you more than just my curiosity and interest was that in your INTRO back in the day was you getting kicked in the side of the head by Wonderboy and you made a point of including the sound so we knew it was a solid lovetap. A man that can be that humble and funny deserved a subscription and support, and I've never regretted it since.

    to be a martial artist isnt to own a high rank belt or have a lot of expirience, but it is a life style. Stephen Wonderboy Thompson and others live that life style that deserve to be called real martial artists. not anyone else
    this is why i think being a martial artist is a big step to being in the top 1% of people, along with wealth and education

    The way you feel by the trainer is just another way of gut feeling. The trainer i had chance to train just for few months was similar. I got to his training and he said: sit over there. Nothing else than 100% focus on the students, then after the training was ended he came to me and as peer mortal asked what i want to know, what, how, when and so on, that time he held several profi belts already and still had that 100% focus on the students. Respect to Jiri Zak from Chomutov in Czech rep.

    Ahh, the nestolga. I grew up in Upstate Karate. I started my Karate journey there and Steven was my teacher back when he was a teenager. I love that guy, he is one of the most laid back, chillest, funniest, nices person who could kick your butt in an instant.

    Hill running is a great exercise! My football coach would have use do hill sprints absolutely miserable but come game day you realize you’re not running out of energy so it’s a necessary misery lol
