@@raisinbrancerealofficial each pigment is raw and purified to start like tattoo inks , I know nothing about starting glass raw ; but melting recycled blue it comes back blue etc 🤷♂️ Temps might vary shade but I'd think they have their favorite work temp to go on , I just go random for glass bouys for nets so it's not a thing of beauty but it's glass

The chemistry behind colorants and their different applications is so interesting and not as straightforward as you might think! If you have free time and like going down rabbit holes of useless information, I'd definitely recommend checking it out :3
the exact composition of the frit that goes into the melt is variable since its a natural material, this makes the colour you get slightly variable, so it can take more or less of the colourant per batch to get the right hue
