So happy to have some stuff by Nomad Complex, especially the "Bandanamals" you guys made.

Start measuring the amount of things you add and keep recipes for each color sounds like an idea

That would only work if the pigment was made from a single material who's entire composition can be accurately reproduced 100% of the time, without any impurities or reactions contaminating it

@@raisinbrancerealofficial each pigment is raw and purified to start like tattoo inks , I know nothing about starting glass raw ; but melting recycled blue it comes back blue etc 🤷‍♂️ Temps might vary shade but I'd think they have their favorite work temp to go on , I just go random for glass bouys for nets so it's not a thing of beauty but it's glass

@@matthewdenty8470 tattoo inks use different colorants than glass does. The chemistry behind colorants and their different applications is so interesting and not as straightforward as you might think! If you have free time and like going down rabbit holes of useless information, I'd definitely recommend checking it out :3

And then you learn about glass (and pigments) and quickly go erase your past comments

They should have an exact measure of the amount of color pigment they use. That way they can insure accurate color and it take less time.

the exact composition of the frit that goes into the melt is variable since its a natural material, this makes the colour you get slightly variable, so it can take more or less of the colourant per batch to get the right hue

I don't think it works in that way. They are not idiots not to think the method. Must be reason why they do so.

Random RUclips comment thinks they know better than someone who’s role is “Colour Master”.
