  • This project has been in the works for over a year and I am so happy that I am able to share it with you guys. The Natural and the Manmade is a short film by Sophie Tuckwell, about Zak Miskry (me) an artist creating animal sculptures out of scrap metal, recycled electronics, and salvaged materials. If you're looking for more E waste project ideas then check out some of my other videos!

It's great to see this. How you work, and what you create. And a great story you tell. Also I loved the little sculptures you made of the bottle caps! I had not seen those before. 😊
    Great short film!

After you remove the coils, the read heads removed from hard drives look exactly like crab/lobster claws!

Is there a kind of super glue that works best. I can’t seem to get pieces of metal sticking together.

I used cyanoacrylate - works best with multiple points of contact and try not to use huge amounts as it will get all gummed up!
