    Hello! Thank you so much for the tutorial but after making it and using it I realize mine is extrmely long!! Here in the US we have restrictions on how long these things can be if we are selling then and this one with 5p chains is almost double th3 size restrictions. So I modified the pattern to start with only 30 chains and that is much closer to regulation length. I'm so happy I found your channel though thank you again so much!!it's a beautiful and super easy pacifier clip!

      Thanks for sharing about the 30 chain! I love the design, but yes, it turned out longer than expected. Looking forward to modifying! Great video tutorial!

      Thank you for pointing this out! I also make “Grow with me” pants for kids and there is a lot of restrictions on materials (due to choking hazards, allergens, etc) we are allowed to use. 30 Chains! I will use that instead!

      I thought the length was fine, but then I realised the recommended length is included the clip and adaptor, which definitely makes it too long! So thank you for sharing how much exactly I should cut of the recipe to make it a better length (-:

    Hi there! Love this tutorial so much! I’ve made these twice now and they’re gorgeous but for some reason the holes in the center of each circle are different sizes. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks!

    I chain 50 and so exactly like u say, and i always end up with only 2 stitches after the last slip stitch on row 1. I did calculations and its 51 chains. Not 50, so u might want to correct that. Its 17*3=51 chains

    • @DivingDucksCrochet

      Im not sure why you dont get the same result. It works for me.

    • @alienamerten4702
      @alienamerten4702 2 года назад +1

      It happens with me too! Every time. I'm gonna follow your advice and make 51 chains and see if it works this time. Wish me luck 😩

    • @SmolSeel4615
      @SmolSeel4615 2 года назад +1

      @@alienamerten4702 I did it with 50 and crocheted into the like original loop, I don't feel like you would usually crochet there and it pulls apart a little so you have to hold onto the end(beginning? It's a little difficult to explain) string but the 50 worked for me that way

    • @user-sg8bk2ko4r
      @user-sg8bk2ko4r 2 года назад +6

      It needs to be *51*!!! Too bad you didn't correct it even though three users kindly told you so. I wasted my time now and thought I was stupid because I trusted your instructions. How could it ever be 50? I mean, it's simple math - 50:3 is not possible. 51:3 = 17. So you'll end up with 9 circles and 8 slip stitches. If 50 "worked" for you it simply means you made a mistake - likely skipped 1 instead of 2 somewhere.

      @@user-sg8bk2ko4r I tried to make with 50 and it was wrong, I wasted a lot of time for that! It is right 51, plus 2 of the first double crochet.

    I love this! The yarn is getting stretched out as baby wears it, do you starch it before use or did I just use the wrong yarn?

    • @DivingDucksCrochet

      No I just use it as it is. Mine streatches out as well. They are pretty to begin with. Now they are pretty-ish.

    Hi there! How would you add beads into this? I have been trying to brainstorm for a few days & yet to figure it out. Ideally I would like the bead in the middle of the circle.

      I think it would too! But I’m not sure how I would add them.

    • @MOMMAJUNKER-vd4wf
      @MOMMAJUNKER-vd4wf 4 месяца назад

      You start by adding all your beads onto your strand of yarn and start crocheting. Whenever you are ready to place a bead then slide it up to the spot and crochet around it. It's actually extremely easy to add beads to ANYTHING you crochet!

    Hvor mange luftmasker skal man tilføje i starten for hver cirkel man vil tilføje til længden ? 😊

    • @YoowlOwl
      @YoowlOwl Месяц назад +1

      Hvis det er til en suttesnor, bør den faktisk være kortere.. men bruger du mønstret til noget andet, burde du kunne forlænge det ved at tilføje 6 luftmasker per cirkel du vil have ekstra. Hvis du kan følge hendes opskrift og få helt samme resultat, så tilføjer du selvfølgelig bare 6*x til de 50, men jeg var nødt til at tilføje én ekstra maske, for at få det til at gå op (så en længere snor er 51+6*x).

    How can you make it shorter? Also can you make smaller shell?

    • @GinkoMstress
      @GinkoMstress 3 месяца назад

      It’s best when crochet always ends in an Even number so that it stays true to original pattern style. For safety I shortened mine to 5inch. Chained 24 instead of 50 and double crocheted 4 instead of 8. Her pattern remained the same just shorter/smaller length.

      I don’t even speak French and I agree! Where & how do we attach the PACIFIER!!!?? (I’m a Spanish teacher, so can discern what she’s asking). very same question as myself!!!!!

    • @imeldaweijers3284

      The holes are there for safety. There is much less risk of choking in case the child puts the clip in its mouth.

    • @imeldaweijers3284
      @imeldaweijers3284 3 месяца назад

      To attach the pacifier pull the loop of the cord through the ring of the pacifier. Then pull the clip through the loop and pull the rest of the cord all the way through until the loop is tight around the ring.

      Hi Susan.
      Sorry, to hear you're having problems with the attachment and you're right, I dont show that part, since everyone is using different pacifiers. I've made the pacifier clip so universal as possible, regarding attachment.
      You can have a look at this diagram for inspiration:

      All you do is attach the long chain at the top inside a hole of the pacifier and then run the entire pacifier clip through that hole. Like how you would attach a camera strap
