If you would like to avoid extra steps and sewing on a clip: Follow the pattern down the first side. At the last chain, instead of doing 14 DC, do 7. Slip stitch to the same chain. Chain 25. Slip stitch back to the same chain again. Do the remaining 7 DC. This puts the pacifier loop on that end. Continue back up that side to the starting chain. Do the 7 additional DC and slip stitch. DO NOT TIE OFF. Single crochet around your pacifier clip as many times as needed for the style of clip you use, then slip stitch back to the same spot and tie off. Weave in ends.
Yep, sorry forgot to mention that in the video! I’m using a 3 mm hook indeed. But more important is to match your hook to your yarn and that how loose or tight loops you tend to make. :)
I found using a 4mm hook can be the best, but I’ve also used a 3.75mm and it worked well too. Like she said it depends on the yarn. But doing the chain slightly looser, in my own experience is more effective and makes the rest of the project look better. So I sometimes have done the chain with a hook that is just the tiniest bit bigger than the one used for the rest of the project.
Just guessing here as I don’t really know what causes curling. Maybe your stitches are very tight. Also too many stitches may cause tightness. Try making less double crochets in the circle.
Hmmm.. I’m not sure. Did they got big after you turned around? Were they big from the start? Maybe you can try to make less double crochet stitches per circle...
This one is 24cm with a clip (8 circles in total). In this project we work on multiples of 6 meaning we make 6 chain stitches per circle in the beginning. Plus 3 chain stitches for the last circle. So if you want to make a shorter version, make less chain stitches in the beginning. E.g. for seven circles you’ll need to chain 39 (6*6+3). For six circles you’ll need to chain 33 (5*6+3). Hopefully this helps you!
Sorry to hear that! I'm afraid that the video is all I got but you may find pictures on pinterest. Please let me know the timestamp of the video where you got confused. I can try to clarify it.
Its when i have to do the second cirkle, from the the third hole🥵 i can’t get it right and it’s not really connected so it looks like it’s half a cirkel😣
@@daisydalabrugv1262 Okay! Remember to finish the first circle with a slip stitch before starting the second circle. This may be the issue. A slip stitch closes a circle (or a half circle at the beginning). Hopefully this help even a little! :)
@@daisydalabrugv1262 And by the way! If it looks like a half circle, you've got it right! :) First you'll make 8 half circles and then you turn a round and complete the circles. Jump to 4:17 to see what I mean by turning around.
Thank you, i Think thats what i am missing will try it again tomorrow. The first half cirkle is there but it’s connected to the second half by the top🙈 so must be me missin the last one🙌🏼 thank you!
I've started to learn crochet today and I feel like what I've learned double crochet is, isn't the same as what you refer to a double crochet. Now I'm confused 🥲
I feel the pain! Terminology varies between patterns and instructions. I think also us and uk use slightly different terminology. However, I hope the video made it clear what kind of stitch I meant by ”double crochet”.

Brilliant! Thanks for this shortcut! ☺️
Great tutorial! 👏👏👏 Thank you so much!
Thank you for the pattern love it
Just made this! Pattern is cute. It came out a bit longer than planned. Clip and loop included made it 13” long
Thank you for doing this.
Lo hice y me encantó,gracias por enseñarnos!
Its very beautifull. I am going to try this one for my baby 😇
I’m glad to hear my video inspired you! And congatulations for the baby! 😍👶🏼
Perfeito explicação, só consegui fazer com você.
Can i just ask... when connecting on the last circle, do you slip stitch into the top of the chain or into the first dc? Thanks
I love the video amazing and easy
Thank you! 😍 I’m glad to hear that!
Thank you! It worked out very nice!👌🏼🍀
Glad to hear that! Thanks for your comment! 🙃
What size hook are you using? your video doesn't say lol
I read in another comment that she used a 3mm hook. 😊

God job🌹🌹🌹
I love this, what kind of yarn did you use?
I used 100% cotton yarn and a hook 3mm (US: 2,5/D-3). E.g. Drops Safran yarn would work quite nicely. It’s soft and nice for babies.
What size hook are you using?
Im using a 3mm hook.
I’ve made two and the look good as soon as I’m finished but after a few hours they start folding in and even start curling, why is that?

Where did you get the clips?
This one is from Karnaluks in Tallinn. They also sell them in their web store (www.kl24.ee).
Hi may i know the chain is mutltiple of what??
Multiple of 6 meaning you can add one circle by adding 6 chains. :)
What am I doing wrong? My circles have bigger open holes in the centre.
Hmmm.. I’m not sure. Did they got big after you turned around? Were they big from the start?
Maybe you can try to make less double crochet stitches per circle...
Is this your pattern? And if so, do you allow people to sell the finished product as long as they credit you for the pattern?
Feel free to use the pattern and sell the products. The pattern is free and found on the internet. I just made the tutorial.
How many chains would you add to make it longer
We're working on multiples of 6. You can add one circle to your work by making 6 more chains.
Do you have to use 100% cotton or can you use a blend?
I think blend is as good as pure cotton. 😊 Various yarns work!
What size yarn is this?
I'm using a 3mm hook and yarn that matches that.
Folclore
After you do the first half circle it looks like you only skip 1 stitch. Am i counting wrong?
Hi what is the length of the whole pacifier clip?

@@heidisdiy6888 yes thankyou very much!
@@heidisdiy6888 sorry one more question, it says 7 dc in video is it 6 or 7 ?
I made 7 dc but it won’t make much difference if you make one less. ☺️
Thank you for asking and answering! This is exactly what I was looking for in the comments! God bless!
After the for 7 it goes wrong for me🙈🙈🥵 do you have it writing with pictures to
