Great tutorial Christian. I think I might make a copy of my raw file image and actually draw out my intended look before I start editing on my actual raw file similar to the drawing at the start of your video. Anyway excellent tips !

Christian, Your presentation of making a plan before starting to edit is very helpful to me. In the way of handling the sky and wheat fields, you have fully implemented your plan for a wonderful and beautiful landscape image. Your inspiration is splendid. I learned a lot from you so that I will be able to take your post processing as an important reference for me.
I am so thankful to you.

Enjoyed this as I have with many of your other videos; easy to understand with the exception of you move to PS to "focus stack". You only had one file to work with, so how can you focus stack? Also, what was the point of introducing a black layer?

    Hi Christian,
Brilliant tutorial & loved the drowning on the raw image to show what are you planning to do. Why did you start with LR and then move to PS? Even you copied the settings over from the 1st image to the next one when you aligned them, there was a clear color difference. Wouldn’t it be better to get the 2 images stacked and cleaned up and then color corrected? Just wondering.

Thanks for the comment! You can do it this way if you prefer it, thats a viable option. I just like doing it the other way around :-)

Another fantastic tutorial Christian, love the finished image! A couple of queries - hard to be sure given the limitations of RUclips but is there a slight halo where land meets sky in the final image? If so, could that just be the result of a poor sky selection by Lightroom? Also, was the other image you used for the foreground taken at slightly different exposure settings as the darker parts of the sky were much lighter even after you copied across your settings?

Thanks for the comment! The fine white line might be due to lightrooms "unprecise" masking, I dont think its a big problem, but of course its als onot perfect :-)

What were your focus points for the focus stacking? Very front of the field and the tree?

Does the halo between the field and the sky bother you at all?
