I think the biggest reason Pulisic is flourishing is he has the confidence from the past 2 managers to actually play him and not bench him after a subpar performance. Once he felt he can be trusted to play major minutes we are all seeing the quality that’s been there from the beginning starting to take form with goals & assists. The last part is I think he’s at a mature age now and has a better understanding of himself and the game. He’s played at Dortmund, Chelsea and now Milan those are 3 big clubs so he understand what’s needed of him.
Another factor that could be contributing to his growth is language. Pulisic is speaking fluent Italian now... even did his first post match interview in Italian and to me he looked *completely* different doing it than he usually does in interviews. He was having a great time 😁
If im not wrong at the moment is the first player in serie A for contributions (both gols and assists) so if you have to pick a player from every league you probably pick pulisic from serie A unless you prefer someone else for personal choices, i see peoples talking bad but here in Italy we love him he even learning italian he show he want to be here, Pulisic rossonero soul ❤🖤

With the unbelievable confidence he’s playing with & staying injury free he’s currently on pace for 45+ goal contributions for the season those are insane numbers IF it were to happen. Hopefully he can win a few trophies at Milan that’ll be real special

Amateurs review of Pulisic. It was 100% apparent to me in 2016 that Pulisic was the best American born player to play the game. And that his best potential position was always going to the 10 role in the center of the pitch. His only issue was lack of experience and not very much trust from his fellow players and coaching staff, through the last 8 years. He has the potential to be a World Class top 10 kind of player if the Manager and teammates use him in a free role in the center of the pitch to run at defenses, make plays and set up scoring for open players. He is equally good with either foot and statistically he scores at a higher percentage when allowed to work down the center. Ryan O'Hanlon is a 6 years late and 10 years behind in understanding Pulisic. He really shouldn't comment. I feel embarrassed for him.
Maturity equals understanding of one’s self, what we are good at, how to use it. This begets confidence. Add natural talent and new experiences in a supportive environment and you get consistency and. success.

Imagine Mbappe at Chelsea being benched for inferior players and then being thrown on for the final 20 minutes of most games, he wouldn't perform well either in those conditions. At Milan coaches have made it know he's their guy and he has performed amazingly well overall the entire time, when Frank Lampard made him the guy at Chelsea he saved their season for them with some insane performances. He's elite, but you won't see it unless he's being treated that way. It's why Poch was so smart for speaking about him publicly the way he did, Poch gets it.
I do think that one reason that his xG+A/90 may stay around 1 is because he will be taking all the penalties from here on out this season. That could be a boost of 5 or more goals.
He scored a golazo against Liverpool, one of the top teams in the Premier League, in the Champions League a few weeks ago, so I guess the Premier League's standards aren't that great either. He's also performing well in the UCL.
