The flawless satin foundation comes in a 20ml bottle while the cc cream comes in a 30ml bottle. If you convert the 20ml foundation bottle into 30ml the price will actually be $7,5. So you're originally correct Morgan, the cc cream is double the price of the flawless satin foundation compared on the same volume, not triple😅. (Keep in mind everyone that the standard volume of a foundation bottle is 30ml on the market, which makes the $5 satin foundation look cheaper, than it would actually be if the bottle was 30ml instead.)🙂
The elf halo glow loose powder is my favorite. It’s great if you have dry skin and hate that dry feeling you get throughout the day. I grab for it over my hourglass and rare beauty one.

I like the 5$ foundation a lot, no complaints at all! It feels great, like your skin but softer, and never feels heavy or cakey, and the finish is very natural

I use the elf acne line and let me tell you, my acne has definitely reduced since i started using it last year christmas. I still get breakouts from that time of the month but the acne spot and serum helps. I love the silkyness of the cleanser. I just don’t like the watercream moisturizer but i feel like its a bit drying. Not crazy but still you feel it. Its like that normally with acne treatment moisturizers so i would definitely suggest using a spf moisturizer on top just incase.

Elf skincare is my literal fave. It has changed my entire face game, esp the pure skin products. The cleanser toner moisturizer combo has made such a difference for my dry patches. Love the pure skin moisturizer more than the holy hydration by a long shot. And it stirs great under makeup
Yes girl. ELF was the first line I liked in the drugstore. I STAN! Their matte Camo concealer is my everyday go to favorite, even over high end (shade deep cinnamon)
Concealer is THE BOMB once you find your right shade it's amazing. The coverage is good and the texture of the cream is so nice. Definitely about to get another one just because lol
They’re clear mascara and clear eyebrow gel in one is my favorite elf product. I literally go though one every month, but it’s only three dollars and so worth it especially if you don’t wear like normal mascara like me and don’t like the look of it.
Yes!! Their skin line. My acne has completely disappeared since switching to them. I have sensitive skin and no rashes or hives since the switch. Holy hydration line is great too. Makes my makeup looks so nice

Usually something that says “moisturizing” is better for dry skin, since “hydrating” usually means it creates a light layer of moisture Vs the moisturizing products give deeper penetration and locks it in for longer. I think ELF themselves calls it a moisturizer though, so it may be worth it to give it a try! Plus, it’s affordable, so you can feel good about giving the product a chance
I agree with you about all these products, except for the powders. The Halo Glow powder is amazing for my mature skin. I use it over the Hourglass translucent veil and the Kosaa cloud powder!!
The squalane moisturizer is a hidden gem! Great ingredients and acts like a primer if you use it in the morning because of the little tackiness it leaves. Don’t sleep on it, great product. The texture and consistency is weird at first but once you rub it in and get used to it.. worth it!

I just went shopping at Walmart and picked up some of your recommendations. I love the ELF primers, Almaty blush, ELF contour pallet,,Revelon highlighter and Loreal foundation to name a few and love them all. Great recommendations!

Thank you for your brand breakdowns! I actually returned the putty primer for the power grip because it's silicone based and my foundation is water based, but it did nothing for me. I get so mixed up trying to match same based primers to foundations without breaking the bank and/or losing my mind😣😖
Giiirrlll try their Prime & Stay pressed powder... the blurring effect is unreal and it's only $4! Also, their halo glow loose powder for a more glowy finish!!
The HD finishing powder is fantastic, no flashback, mattifying and a bit smoothing, doesn't cling to dry spots too much. I wear it over my daily sunscreen.
I like the powder high def from elf. For us older gals, it doesnt navigate to fine lines and wrinkles. My favorite was the Becca powder, wish I had stocked up, but here we are. The BEST powder from the drugstore id the No.7 one, it is close to the Becca one, so if you loved the Becca, try out the No. 7 one for older ladies like me. lol I hate the new packaging, but the product is great. I also love the hydrating elf comcealer. I will give the Hello Hydration line a try- neutrogena is almost as expensive as my Clinique these days!
I know Smashbox did a colab with Becca and they have some of the products online at Sephora currently. Sometimes I get Becca products at either buy me beauty or beauty bay. The last Becca hydra mist powder I got was at Nordstrom rack. I absolutely hate powder but like the Kim Chi puff puff pass.
I consider myself one of the biggest putty blush/bronzer antis lmao. I found them to be not pigmented, they disappear in minutes, and I have to really dig into the pot to get any pigmentation. Just goes to show how makeup works differently for everyone!
what brush are you using? i used a normal elf blush brush and it barely pick any up. i got the putty blush brush and it works amazing. you gotta get the specific brush for it

I have been MakeUp Forever snob for many years. Until they changed the foundation I used everything MUFE except the mascara. Their concealer is amazing. But I saw a couple of ladies on YT talking about elf and decided to try a few things. I mean I bought a quad eye shadow, concealer, concealer brush and bb cream for what one MUFE concealer costs. Tried it on in the car, and WOW! Went back inside to buy more!

Love the Elf Holy Hydration! Eye Cream, I work on a computer hours on end cause I'm an animator, and putting it on at the end of the day feels really nice with how tired my eyes feel. Plus after it's empty I just wipe off the print labels with steel wool and the jar is really cute to store small stuff in my bag like meds.
Girl they're moisturizer is the BOMB!! it helps both my makeup and skin, my skin is so soft and smooth and I've been acne free for awhile!! And I have naturally oily skin too so it's been a life saver

First time in my life where people have complimented my skin randomly. So worth the hype, only downfall as a very pale person, it’s lightest shade is more warm toned but it’s no big deal, and the e.l.f blue colour corrector helps!
The hydrating camo concealer is fine for younger skin I guess, but it will sink into lines and blemishes, even with plenty of primer. The matte finish one is so dry and chalky and will not budge or blend once you put it on. Use skillfully 😅
I've been using the holy hydration moisturizer for a couple of years now and I love it! ELF really started stepping up their game the last few years and I'm all about it.
Tried the Camo CC and the Camo green putty- the cc cream transferred everywhere,even w sealing mist, and made my pores look BIGGER, and it migrated-quickly into fine lines. The green (Poreless one) nothing any better than others.
The HD translucent powder is one of the best I've tried. This is coming from someone super oily who has been buying all types of powders for over 20 years. It's a good powder. I buy them two at a time cause I use it everyday.
I love the blushes personally they’re really pigmented they last pretty long they’re very light overall very pretty as long as you find the one that matches your shade because I didn’t want that was a little too dark for me was walking around like a anime girl blushing

You're right. I use the Elf peeling exfoliating cleanser and it's the best one ever. The eyeshadows were a dud for me. Sadly they don't sell the powder foundation in my country, I'd love to buy and try it

I love the blushes personally they’re really pigmented they last pretty long they’re very light overall very pretty as long as you find the one that matches your shade because I didn’t want that was a little too dark for me was walking around like a anime girl blushing
The setting powder is the best ive ever used. It stays matte through wind and rain.

The holy hydration skincare is awesome. Started using it and my skin feels like it’s glowing. It feels the best it’s ever felt since I had a 12 step routine tailored for my skin. But damn. Just the eye cream, moisturizer, cleanser, all of it is great tbh

The OG daily moisturizer and primer serum are my faves. I have combo skin and my face loves these products. I’ve been using them for years. I literally never break out when I use them

You're right. I use the Elf peeling exfoliating cleanser and it's the best one ever. The eyeshadows were a dud for me. Sadly they don't sell the powder foundation in my country, I'd love to buy and try it
