As someone who wears blue eyeshadow everyday (it fits my 80s aesthetic lmao) I can say that if it’s done right, you get SO MANY compliments on it!! It actually shocked me when I started wearing blue eyeshadow just how many people noticed and complimented it. It’s probably just more eye catching

Elf was the best growing up. Like you said, it was cheap *and yes some items were not great* but for the most part some items were holy grail for me like the concealer, the eyelid blending brush, the GEL EYELINER. I used to get SOOO many compliments on the gel eyeliner. It taught me how to apply eyeliner with a brush, it's a lost art honestly.
THE GEL LINER.. girl same!! I used to wear it everyday and get so many compliments on it. I forgot about it until I read your comment 😂

You should try the Sephora’s makeup. They always has big sales on Sephora’s collection, exactly this holiday. I am curious about their quality, since their stuff are quite affordable too.

Elf is literally my fav as an adult 😁 imcluding the skincare! The prices definitely went up a bit since their $1 products, but it's still so affordable and if you just order when you have quite the list, therr are always some great discounts 😍

the big mood mascara in the waterproof version is so good, i have stick straight, downward pointing lashes and it was a godsend to them

NGL I wish ELF would do some throwback $1 products. They had some products I really liked. I bought them while I was in college and I still have them (even though theyre definitely expired). I'm so sad they dont make them anymore because I used to wear them literally every day.

*edit* It may just be me but I think that colour eyeshadow looks really pretty on you. It could be you're not used to seeing yourself with a bold colour on so it's throwing you off 🤷♀️
Honestly, I don't even see pale blue as a "bold" color. If she'd used that beautiful darker blue I'd say it would be bolder than the pale blue.
@@MommyTiffany It may not be as "bold" as some, that is true but, for people who usually only wear neutrals or a winged liner, even pale blue can seem "bold".

Hey Mia! You should try elate cosmetics. They are a sustainable brand and B corp certified. You buy a bamboo pallet and buy your products to fill it up and when you done you can recycle the aluminum makeup holder and replace the product for your pallet! I’m also pretty sure they ship from Canada!

I use a lot of the e.l.f. makeup products, and my biggest tip is: Make sure the base products you use(concealer, foundation, primer) are all either silicone-based, or water-based(water ones don't dry out the skin, while silicone can).
If you mix a water-based concealer like the hydrating camo concealer, with a silicone-based foundation like the flawless finish foundation, they will separate and get "cakey" after a while on the skin.
I'd go with the 16-hour camo concealer instead since it's silicone-based.
If you check the ingredients list & see words ending in -cone, it's silicone based.💜
I think the eyeshadow looked GREAT! I loved the full look with peach lips. But that’s just my style. Loved it ✨
Tip for the too much pigment problem: dip your brush in your setting powder and go over where the contour or blush is too much. I learned this from LipstickNick, she calls it veiling 😇 hope this helps! ♥️

First off,I grew up in the 70's,and I think I had that top only in like a dark green pallet. I use elf eyebrow pencil,the makeup sponge,and love their CLEAR eyebrow gel! I'm 66 yrs old and love watching your channel...have for awhile now. Keep goin,Girl!

edit to add: for the vitamin c serum, what I've found works best is when you put it on and then don't put anything else on top for 10 or more minutes. this allows it to do its thing and brighten and firm!

I love ELF too. One of my favorite products is the Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm. I realize that's not a makeup product, but when you're done with the blue eyeshadow, this stuff is great.

Mia!!! Don’t apply the primer to your face directly from the dropper/applicator it touches your face and then you put it back in the container… bacteria 😮… That being said, I’m thrilled to see a new full face video! 🎉

With chalky eye shadow Mia, if I may say something to help and it was a friend's crazy love of wet eyeshadow that I remember this hack..I used a pretty thin make up brush, a small glass dish with water in it, and paper towels.
Think Watercolor for inspiration while using the chalky eyeshadow pallette.
Dip your brush and try as little or much swatching lines on paper until a perfect shade. Yay ELF! 💕🙏

Pale Fair skin is beautiful. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. This is a good reference for me. Never been sure which shade foundation to match myself. I don't like adding any color to my face other than eyes and lips. The fairer the better, just my thing.🖤
