I work preset but by way of the ear, what it is telling me, the key to the sound that has resulted for me is to know the global eq and where you will connect, it is an excellent machine highly recommended
muy buena evolucion de la gente de mooer, por fin estan compitiendo fuerte, sabia que ahi habia potencial, solo les falta a Glenn delon que les haga una buena demo y ya esta, producto al tope, congratulations.
No better than the patches I made on my GT-1. I think all these all in one pedals fall short when you get into distorted tones, clean sounds are pretty good for the most part. My opinion.
I've owned Helix LT and now have AXE FX III, but this, wow! It sounds like the real deal! (Priced a bit high for now but looking to get this for the practice studio. My Axe FX III is not leaving)
I also own the Helix LT, and picked up a gt300 just to see what it can do. Using it through a Return loop on a Marshall which sounds best to me. I does sound more tube like to me then the Helix.
@@subramaniamchandrasekar1397 The DSP does not dictate the coding it takes to make the amp model, nor should it influence the user to bring down the highs via EQ.
does it sound better compared to ge200? how do you feel regarding the dynamics? what do you guys think, this or helix lt? thanks!!! i usually play through boss katana 50 in my bedroom and its tone and dynamics are awesome, even more so after some eq tweak... just need some portable rig for my (ocassional) gig
If you are going after lots of fx then this is great, if you are only after a good sounding and portable amp (and maybe a boost) then get the preamp live, it's the OD/DS, preamp and power amp/cab section of this
@@jesus4pincho yes i was thinking of getting the preamp live instead of these multifx, but i still need some reverb, delay, and 10 band or parametric eq... what do you suggest?
Awesome quality vid👍... BUT Mooer has to explain $1000 price tag on a GE series... the old GEs were built and priced for everyday folk... Don’t build a multifx identical to Boss and throw an identical Boss price tag on it 👎
SaintsCheat even @ $700, there is zero chance I would buy this. It’s too close in price to Boss, Line 6 and Headrush. The other brands have huge support networks, user bases and resale, not at all for the Mooer. Easy pass.
Jared Burdick that’s a fair point. However I will personally say I own the Moore Cruncher red pedal. It’s freakin killer. But yes I totally see where you are coming from.
Foxbody Boogie kinda agree. The days of hauling a 100w head and a 4x12 cab are long gone. Minimal is better and that’s where these come in. However the market is now catering to aforementioned crowd hence the market is littered with 15-20w mini heads. I love my mt15 head but I can see why people want a processor
@Foxbody Boogie I bet you would choose modern effect pedal over a 100w stack every day of the week if you're constantly giging. Nothing beats the real thing, but it's very unpractical.
Ciao, ho appena comprato una GE300. Non ho capito bene però come devo fare per avere un incremento di volume quando devo fare un solo. Non ha un ost o una funzione che ti aumenta il volume? Grazie. Ciao
Hey, guys! I am thinking of using only the IR and the effects of modulation and ambience of this pedalboard. In this case, I would use analog pedals like pre-amp, analog compressor too, connected to the send return. I believe that in terms of practicality it would be the best. What do you say, will I get quality sound that way? By the way, excellent review!
Great pedal but as always …? Nobody talks about pitch shifting quality? Almost nothing about loop functions, record time, saving loops, loops volume? I have a Mooer GE200 and I need to play it again and again… I have no studio. Whishings? Why is nobody make a fxpedal that can be separate the footswitch part from the (touch)screen? Would be very handy to use it above or with an (buildin) amp or even in a flichtcase. So it's easy to change the sounds and efx. Now we have to bring the whole pedal on a table for experimenting while playing. Build in Amp would also great (like Kemper). I know ...wishings. A Mooer GE500 that can be separated or updated with all kind of stuff like an buildin amp, or a extra wireless touchpad for quick use without moving the pedal from the ground for a quick access.
Soooo this pedal LOOKS insanely cool. And it’s surely a great semi-pro-looking piece of gear to have at a mid tear venue (especially at something like a church), and if they are 800 new they’ll go on reverb for 5 eventually making it a convenient looking solution to the middle class guitarist. However, I only have two big critiques on the tones (I own an HX STOMP HELIX FLOOR AND A GE200), the delay tones sound a little cheap and overly pungent, and the clean and more blues like tones sound lesser quality than the over Drive in distortion tones. However, I confess that I have had surprisingly fantastic results after very carefully modifying the patches in my GE200. So if you are a mid tier guitarist out there that doesn’t want to get rid of his analog rig and wants a cheap amp modeler for smaller shows, this could be it but be ready to do some serious work editing the presets to get them fine-tuned.
@Jeff Woertz Cool, thanks for the answer, ive been considering getting a floor multi myself. I still use my Boss GT-pro with midipedal, tube power amp and speaker and im thinking about scaling down and just using a floor multi that i can carry easily for gigs. Ive been using Boss products since the mid 80´s and they have made some great stuff that never seem to break also. The GE 300 ticked quite a few boxes when it comes to specs and functions, its early days for it though and i want to see more demos of it, the GT-1000 didnt seem to be that impressing to me when i saw it first when it was released, watched quite a few youtube videos of it. If i could have exactly what i wanted i would like a floor multi that had Kempers profiling engine with the effects of a Boss multi with all the programability and with a good user interface, possibly touch with color display and i like the switch label display on the helix/headrush.
Okay to show SOME presets. But ALWAYS....dial in your own. Almost any (make that every) MFX unit you buy needs customized for guitar, amp, PA, FX you want and your ear.
Sounds surprisingly good for the money but am I the only one hearing some weird unpleasant fizz in the tone captured friedman od? If it's something inherently present in all captured tones it would make the feature unusable from my perspective.
With the preamp live, I've made successful tone captures. This guy has tried to capture the BE-OD as a OD pedal. I think he might have had a better result when he captured it as a preamp.
Always hated multi effects, and it doesn’t sound like this thing will change that. Even with the combined hundreds of copyrights they stole to make it for that price.

Mooer pedal is killing it!Great diverse demo!
thank you for no talking
yeah dude
shhhh, no talk. Just tone.
From this video the 800 sim sounds better and more true to the original 2204 than the helix imo. Got a Helix and the 800 myself.
Just got one of these. So far, so good.

May be it isn't guitar sound.
Mooer audio is crazy. I can't believe that.
I must buy it when I become adult.

The 80's chorus sound convinced me.

the Mooer is expensive? When I just looked, the Mooer GE300 is £515 and the AX FX is £2399
Mm... some noticeable fizz going on!
Finally a good demo. Thanks!
Fractal....all day...
Tone cap not exact but impressive . Thank you for this work and Best Regards!
Wondering if credible piano/strings sounds can be obtained with the synth?
Wow, that sounded incredibly harsh. Sounds like you need to dial it back on the highs.
On some of the sounds, yes, but most were fine...
Looking at some models specs, I believe the DSP chip is the same on many newer models, mostly all will sound same if set equally. Regards.

Yes Sir! It really comes to live if you're tweaking eq's and of course with IR's.
