Al'Akir - Fire Mage PoV - Normal Throne of the Four Winds - WoW Cataclysm Classic

Hello everyone! This video is a non-narrated recording of the Al'Akir encounter in the Normal Difficulty Throne of the Four Winds (To4W) Raid done as a Fire Mage in Phase 1 of the World of Warcraft Classic Cataclysm Expansion.
This recording is from the third night of the tier launch and with a complete pug group. I haven't seen these bosses since the original Cataclysm expansion, so I play far from perfectly here as I was still (re)learning the boss mechanics as well as cooldown / fight timings. I know that this isn't the highest level gameplay, but with that being said, I still wanted to upload this fight so that people could get a look at the fight from a Fire Mage point of view if they wanted. @@SigsPlays Do you reforge your stuff to have the 17 % hit cap ?

@@akashi8994 Yup! It feels bad dropping so much Crit / Haste for it, but not as bad as missing a Combust (or any other spell, really).
It'll be a lot easier to reach the cap without dropping much beyond Mastery with more raid gear though.

does he 100% guarantee a token ?

I'm not actually sure - according to Wowhead each of the 6 tokens have an about 10% drop chance so that would lead me to believe that there's a chance that he doesn't drop one, but he's dropped one every time that I can remember defeating him.
