I don’t see how Sharelle is a successful real estate agent because she can’t even manage her business. She docked those women commission pay and while the others were agreeing with it, Rena called her out because she wanted to know why. You ain’t gonna dock my money that is for my livelihood and not tell me why.

I dont think she was necessarily wrong but I do think that trying to recruit the other girls was shady, especially since they are the top producing agents at allure.
Yeah I don’t think anyone really cares that she wants to leave and start her own brokerage. But the problem I have with her is the way she went about it. Like sharelle had to talk to her 3-4 times before she got the full picture and each time was messier and messier.

That workplace environment was super toxic. The fact that Rena was the only one who had an issue with the cut in the commission is absolutely mind boggling! I hate the petty drama of reality tv, but I love seeing black women excel, especially in a white male dominated field. I do wish the homes were better to look at tho. Most of them were beautiful on the outside but dated on the inside, but I don't expect much from Tampa 😂.

rena was my absolute favorite. she was the smartest out of the entire group and she was about her business. I didn’t like colony at all by the end because of how she treated anne. yes, anne was being wishy washy but her and colony were supposed to be friends. So the fact that colony called her out in front of sherelle was peak weirdo behavior. she did all that snitching just to not get promoted. Anne literally said “If I died today, I’d get replaced tomorrow”, so she was considering Rena’s offer like any smart girl would. Anne had been the top seller followed by colony and both of them remained stagnant. Colony kissed the hell out of sherelle’s ass over a promotion sherelle never even considered her for. When rena brought up leaving colony got on this high horse about loyalty and it was nauseating to watch because sherelle does not have that loyalty toward any of them.
OH MY GOSH that's the worst part 🤣🤣🤣 she was tap dancing for a position she was never even in the running for. DAMN 😂

i liked selling tampa but i feel like these women weren’t really selling houses like that (which is why sharelle had to change that commission split cause like only 2 of them were selling homes💀) and that’s what i love about selling sunset and million dollar beach house, seeing those crazy large houses and how they’d show their clients around it or hold events to get more people interested. the homes are one of the things that keeps me watching. regardless i can’t wait for more seasons of selling tampa and where they’ll take the series/to see them grow.
You hit the nail on the head. I hate to say it but I like selling sunset more, it's more about those beautiful houses and that's why I'm there. You can point to the exact source of ALL the drama on selling sunset but on selling tampa there was a bit too much drama and tea being spilt. I wanna see w.o.c succeed and sell million dollar houses leave the drama to a minimum and get money together ladies come on now!!

My only problem with Rena is that I feel like she doesn’t know the meaning of “Work in Silence”. She shouldn’t have been talking so loud when it was clear she hadn’t really made a decision about if and where she would start her own business.

They'd be taking the initiative and coming to my company to ask for a job, so it would be their idea. Everyone would still be on good terms, win/win.

I don't think Anne-Sophie was lying about leaving Allure during the conversation with Sharelle. The conversation was in a different setting during her conversation with Colony and Rena and she did admit that with her conversation with Sharelle that she was opened to the idea of leaving. I don't like how Colony pretty much threw Anne under the bus especially if they're supposed to be friends. I feel like colony is way too loyal to Sherelle especially when she didn't even have the decency to make colony the office manager and she's been there since day one. Also I would have liked to see them sell more houses because I feel like that's the whole premise of the show which we didn't get to see.
It seems Alexis has gotten through life relying on her looks and she lucked out being with her football player highschool/ college sweetheart.
Was it just me or was it extremely tasteless for Sharelle to reveal her baby bump at Jawanna's divorce (single-ladies) party? That moment was not about her and she straight high-jacked it.

Opinions: I like all the ladies but my observations
Sharelle: good friend but a horrible boss. She also lacks professionalism. She doesn’t know how to manage people in a way that motivates them. Also she brought some of the ladies there with a different energy than how she manages them. Does the bait and switch often
Juwana: about her business, but slightly messy. I’ll say she’s not anymore messy than the other ladies. They take digs at her then expect her to not say anything. Specifically, they don’t think she has a real position.
Anne- Sophia: one word- duplicitous. But, she’s smart in terms of keeping her options open with the tyrant. She can be a bit annoying on camera as well.
Colony: sweet, loyal to a fault, manipulative, and hollow. She thinks running back and telling the info other ladies have told her in confidence will make her look good to Sharelle, but it makes her look like a child. Has good soft skills, but is too gullible to lead.
Rena: 10/10. Was it shady to go behind Sharelle’s back to recruit Colony and Anne?
Of course. But, Sharelle is unreasonable so I don’t blame her. Plus, Sharelle is kind of mean ( and knows it) so, would Rena recruiting them even be possible if she were a better Boss? 🤷🏾♀️

I tend to avoid reality shows solely because I do not care about these people and their issues, but as soon as I found out there was going to be one in my city I had to watch and I was not disappointed! Tampa is so small yall omg Allure is a mile from my old job😂
I really liked Rena. She was stunning and she carried the majority of the storyline that ended up her Anne-Sophia and coming into a conflict. I like that Juwana was had the additional storyline - it was sad that she lied to that white lady about her husband. Tennille reminds me of a Marlo Hampton with her shade. Colony is stunning and is that girl but she doesn’t need to be so loyal to Sharelle. Wish we saw more houses! I could have done without alexis and Karla and the overuse of the word “produce.”

Sharelle wants the workers to be under her forever and it’s like she doesn’t want them to grow and prosper. I feel like it should be in her best interest to support them. I think that’s why they think they can get away with mediocre sales or not selling at all.
And when sharelle tries to be serious, it’s in dangerous ways like cutting ppls pay or trying to force them to do things without consulting with anyone. LIKEE! But great show! I want to know them more and I kinda like all of them.

The only thing I didn’t like about the show is we never really saw them selling homes like we would see them at a beautiful home every episode but there was never any follow up on if they actually sold that house or which house their client got etc. It was definitely much more of a reality show than a real estate reality show.
Like to me as a viewer, they kept talking about Karla and Alexis not selling but I don’t think we saw any of them actually sell anything besides that 1 couple in Miami so I was confused. There was no continuity. Like when colony and Juawana were both showing places in the same building we never saw a follow up. Did they sell them did they not? Like this happened every episode and it was so annoying! Like where the continuity??
My fav real estate show is million dollar listing LA! The homes come first and the drama second plus there is continuity and you can really see the real estate business in LA

The only thing I ain't like is they never sold not one property on the show or showed they sold a property....which is the other half of the show lol. Selling Sunset has a good balance between real estate technicals and drama.

As someone who grew up in Tampa and currently lives in Tampa- I 100 percent CAN confirm they have nice houses like this! - I certainly don't live in one but I've grown up seeing homes like this. Mostly because we have a lot of sports teams and people from a variety of big industries that live here. That being said- I believe they include the entire bay area in this show and not just Tampa- because I saw a few locations that are considered to be St. Pete or Clearwater on "Selling Tampa". I think that should be noted as well..

I love selling Tampa and it's not fair from a real estate perspective to compare them to the Oppenheim group. There are years of experience in selling sunset and selling Tampa (allure group) started in 2019. Yes, not having a lot of real estate closings is a bit annoying but let's give them a chance. I'm sure season 2 will have more closings.
I like Sharelle as a person but as a boss no. Why ask if people have questions, and then lash out at Rena? And make it as if you don’t care if every person in the office didn’t just get up and leave? Then you wouldn’t have a office. But anywho, Rena was very right and with her experience is probably why she was the main person to openly say she had a issue with the cut. And it wasn’t a small cut! Why would someone smile and nod at their check changing?
But also the way Sharelle saw Colony’s effort, gave her hope and then: Juwana, that was crazy. Like I get it but I don’t like it and feel bad for Colony because I understand the loyalty being beneficial but it’s clearly not.

I do think sharelles business model of my way or the high is pretty shit and is gonna bite her in the ass. To change your employees pay with no warning and get defensive/turn it onto them when they are understandably mad is so unprofessional. Shame as she seems like a generally nic woman. She already almost drove out rena AND anne who are high producers and have been with her since the beginning. Its so obvious no one was happy with the commission split but lied bc they are scared of her. Colony being the prime example, like her and anne where joking about it to eachother the whole time but she switched up when she realised it could get her in trouble and used it too throw anne under the bus. I like colony but I really thought she was gonna defend anne a little against sharelle when it all came out? and for what ? cus she didnt get the promotion in the end. Hope it made her realise sharelle sees them all as replaceable and to sharelle loyalty to her matters more than her loyalty to her employees. The end of season gag of alexis showing up to the party felt so staged compared to the rest of the show it felt so off. But alexis really just annoyed me i was happy when she was fired lol and sharelle was so nice about? wheres that energy with rena tf alexis literally has lost you so much money? It really came across like sharelle really sees rena as a valuable employee and on the flip side; big competition. Karla seemed funny wish we had seen a little more of her.
Overall i way prefer tampa to sunset as the drama is more business focused and less random personal petty stuff and the girls seem way more likeable and much more like actual coworkers vs cast picked for a show
I agree with you, especially your last point! This show is honestly a lot more tasteful and more actually real estate and work and life- not just millions millions and bullying. I’m halfway through season two of sunset. I generally like on the ladies but I really like Rena, colony and Anne.

Selling Su set season 1 wasn't odd! It just wasn't ! It was caotivating and interesting! Maybe season 4 was a bit off but season 1 selling sunset was so good! 10/10!
I felt that frustration talking about Alexis. At one point, I had to skip over the crap she was saying in the last episode cause she irked me way too much... I was yelling at the TV.
This is why the workplace is such a toxic, soul destroying environment shows like this demonstrate that. As a employee your best interest is to always manage your self and look out for your self best interest you can't expect and allow an employer/manager/boss to completely control and use you as they feel like it. You have to be a boss in you're own right.

I don’t like Sharrelle but at the same time I wanted to see her win. I feel like being on this show only further emphasized that she doesn’t know how to run an organization. The fact that she doesn’t take criticism well only adds insult to injury. I hope Rena does leave, because if I were her I’d run for the hills and never look back!

The thing that bothered me the MOST was when Juwana was reading the pregnancy test instructions and said the results would be in 'written word' or something like that, and I paused I'm preeetty sure it was a ClearBlue test which reads pregnant or not pregnant, but when Juwana reads it and says it reads not pregnant Sherelle takes it and says no that's a plus sign?????? But the instructions didn't say it would be either a plus or negative ? Also who would look at a pink plus sign and think yeah you're not pregnant?! It didn't make any sense?!
Sharelle is a really unprofessional and unagreeable boss in my opinion. Everything she does is perfect and "just business" and whenever someone does something she doesn't like it's "I wouldn't have an issue if you had xyz but you did abc so now I hate you" like girl grow up. NEVER had a private conversation with anyone (like are you not the boss??) And created a weird workplace culture. No no no

Sherelle needs to go get some pointers from Jason and Brett because these ladies do not respect her she is trying to be their friend and doesn't want them to get out from under her. Rena needs to get her own brokerage tbh because she's the only one besides Sharelle that has her brokerage license and I think she would be a better boss if somebody has a question Sherelle was basically like my way or the highway.
Rena,Anne & Colony needs to leave and start their own company together… Karla and Alexis are irrelevant….Juwana needs to slapped she tries colony because she’s jealous simple as that

-Didn't like Rena but she's a businesswoman. Just wish she just did the shit she threatened. The scene when she was sitting in the chair and mentioned how it was the same as Sharelle's and getting an office like so close to the current office felt a bit weird to me. I wish she would've left as much as she talked about it. Just felt like she wasn't going to leave unless she had a whole group with her. She was definitely shook when Anne said she'll just get her own license 🤣
-Didn't like Alexis in the slightest and got a ridiculous amount of second hand embarrassment from her
-Liked Colony and at least had no problem being honest about what she said and how she said it and never lied. Call it snitching but I felt like she was the most honest without watering down anything she says or talks about
-Anne was a bit annoying with the 3 mil deal cause girllllll as a seller I would've felt hella disrespected. I don't like that she got mad and shady with Colony for being 💯 and I agree she don't stand behind anything she says or does. But she's okay.
-Eh liked Tenille she was mean sometimes and random but she was okay
