I found skarmory goodra and water gun lanturn to be pretty damn solid today. Ill confess i only have brave bird on skarmory but imo thats the only move you need for him to lead a team
Hi Dan, today I used your team (dewgong sableye Clodsire) and it was fun. I did 2-3 4-1 4-1 1-4 2-3 overall. Most of the losses were on CMP tie. It's a really good team
It's hard to know the matchup when you're just testing out the team, but in the Charjabug vs. Toxapex match, do you think it's worth considering baiting a shield by using X-Scissor? In that specific instance I think you get to another Discharge in time and win the match, but there are certainly plenty of people who don't shield there knowing they don't die and then you 100% lose since the X-Scissor is resisted. I run into a similar dilemma when I run Goodra with AT/TP, vs. something like Feraligatr, and have to consider whether I save the small bit of energy with Aqua Tail, but risk the massive downside that comes with it if they let it go. Just curious about your thoughts.
At around 2000 elo charja safe swap has been working really well. Barely anyone has a gligar (myself included) and its a great counter swap to many annihilape, medi, azu, cress and the hundreds of umbreons I've seen at this range!
Those first few matches why aren’t you instant swapping with such great leads and good answers for their swap? I feel like it costs you definitely in the Trev lead game..
2100-2300 elo. Shadow Quagsire, Trevenant, and Dewgong. Team working really well for me. Quag lead, instant swap depending on opponent lead or catch(like any other team build lol) Haven’t need that many instant swaps or catches as I thought I would xD.
Aqua/Stone. I know is tempting to run other combinations but haven’t really felt the need to change. I have tried with mud/stone but mehhh, Aqua/Stone for the win if you ask me.
Thanks for shoveling my driveway on Sunday. I'm not sure my neighbor appreciated you tossing all of the snow into *their* driveway, but hey.. whatcha gonna do
Is anyone else seeing Lanturn in almost every game? I saw some the past few days, but today I played against Lanturns in almost every single game... Dont these guys just get bored of using that stupid pokemon every day? They nerfed Spark and not its Water gun all the way... this is so boring... the sheer lack of imagination is beyond me...
Yes, they've been everywhere for me as I think people have learned that despite the Spark nerf, but Spark and Water Gun Lanturn are still insanely strong. Thankfully, my Goodra is eating them up lol
People use what get them wins. I’ve tried lots of teams this season and am stuck, so I go back to something I’m used to that is consistent, and despite a nerf, it’s Lanturn. Imagine crying about that when there are so many other much more toxic pokemon lol.
You're the only expert ranked team that matters, Dan.

The team works better with Lanturn in the lead!
Nice. I was curious about this team team too. Dont see a lot of charjabuz... cause Basti dorks
Weird I see it all the time around 2300 elo
I hate how much the game freezes. Its cost me more than a couple matches because of the lag . Even with full bars and perfect internet

My first time hitting legend was with this team except i use crunch for discharge on charjabug. But it was 2 seasons ago
What mons are, in ya'lls opinion, would be the best to 2nd move 1st on that are habitually top or near top in GL?
You should add something to the thumbnail, otherwise people may skip thinking is the same video

Expert rank, lol bro ivs been using this team since the season started
The freezing is pretty bad right now

Aqua stone edge? Or mud bomb aqua tail? Curious I wanna run this team

Lanturn does worse against sandslash when you run spark imo. Basically no way to beat it
