Love that you fly manually on the Mini 2. I only messed with the quick shots once and have no idea how to program auto flights yet. I want to learn everything manually first. Makes me feel very validated in my thought. Thanks for the stick techniques and framing tips.
How about some tips on filming and driving? Are you standing outside filming while someone else drives your rig? Are you sitting in the passenger seat filming? Both? None of the above? Can you program the shots to execute hands off while you drive? Not calling out safety, rather, asking honest questions due to my wife and I having two jeeps and wanting to film.
Just brought the mini 2 to hopefully give that cinematic edge to my channel and this has been great to watch 👍 can't wait to wake up and try them out for myself 😁 Thanks Jeven 👍
Thank you. It’s extremely helpful to see how you created these shots and what hand gestures to use with the remote. Most drone videos assume the viewer knows which hand gestures will create the desired shot.

Thanks for sharing tip 8 about editing. It is good to know that your SOC footage isn’t as cinematic as the final version and the steps you take in editing to make it look so good. This has renewed my interest to keep working at it :-)

Great Stuff- I am in my 50's and recently purchased the mini 2, My very first drone. So far so good no crashes, I love the scenery in this video what a beautiful landscape to film. I love snow shots, just love it. Thank you for the video and the techniqes.
Im only half way through this video.. gotta say its brilliant.. thanks... i don't even have a drone still on the fence but after watching this im jumping off and flying to the shops to get one..
I've come to like and use often the down view with rotation. Great cinematic shot if done slowly. I also add a gimbal up reveal shot towards the end which punctuates the scene.

Very good tips. I looked and looked online for something that shows how these moves are created on the controller itself and you did exactly that. It was super helpful to see these diagrammed on the controller. I'd also add that people should practice their shots before hitting the record button on the controller. And if they don't want to waste the battery time actually flying a practice run, at least make a running 'story board' in your head: I'll fly it to the left past the trees, then do a right hand orbit around the field before doing a fly by of the rock formation in the field, and then get above the rocks and do a slow, full rotation with the gimbal pointing straight down. Good content and thanks for the tips!
