This video took a lot longer than the normal Top 10 since I play tested a bunch of different loops before deciding on these 10. Things like Yata-lock or froggy ftk didnt make the list because neither really fits the "theme" of the video. Yata-lock was kind of a loop, but it took place over multiple turns. And Froggy ftk wasn't an infinite loop, just like a really long combo that seemed infinite.

If Yugioh didn't want infinite loops, they shouldn't have had the main character win a god card by using an infinite loop in the anime.

But that loop cant exist irl cause the cards are completely different
thats still the best loop/play i have seen in the entire anime (couting the spin offs too) the fact that not only he beats a god card through a loop but using the oponents loop against him is so fucking brilliant (people say that yugi cheated in that duel but not only the effects are different but marik already cheated earlier).

This reminds me of way, way back when you could abuse Magical Scientist and Pre-Errata Catapult Turtle. Shooting off fusion monsters into space with the turtle.
It was doable before your opponent got a turn if you were lucky. Cannon Soldier + 2 Last Will gave you everything you needed.

Another card that could have been mentioned was Gateway of the Six Samurai.
Simply put, each time a Six Samurai monster is summoned to the field, it gets 2 Bushido Counters. You can remove 4 Bushido Counters from anywhere on the field to add any Six Samurai monster from you Deck or GY to your Hand, and this is not once per turn.
This means, when combined with other Six Samurais like Kizan, Mizuho, Shinai, or Grandmaster that consistently summon themselves from hand alongside other Bushido Counter generators like General, Temple, Dojo, or United, it's possible to create an infinite summoning engine that can lead to an infinite Bushido Counter generating loop, mass field swarming, and even FTKs in some plausible scenarios. Hell, it's possible to create an infinite burn and draw loop in OCG because of Daigusto Emeral.
Thats not neccesarily a loop just a really long combo. The difference is is that in a loop, you can do the exact same thing over and over again. In a really long combo, you have to make some variation in your play, like summoning a link monster, then maybe your next time around you synchro summon. You cant just do the exact same set of plays over and over again in six sams outside, your always going to be making diff plays in order to advance your board

This one is a throwback. The old shadow priest deck running spell economics and looping dimension fusion with dark magician of chaos was one of my favorites. Deck was super consistent and could easily win turn 1.

Nowadays, theres just no reason to release cards without some sort of "once per turn" clause. If a card like that is released, people will try to abuse it.

I personally liked the Quillbolt+Tuner (typically one you can easily summon like Unknown Synchron or Glow-Up Bulb)+Cannon Soldier+Imperial Iron Wall loop. Yeah it's gimmicky, but it's humorous to pull it off.
For the uninitiated, Quillbolt can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard if you control a Tuner, but it banishes itself when removed from the field, hence why Imperial Iron Wall is part of it. Keep tributing it with Cannon Soldier and win.
Takes too many cards to pull off consistently, sure, but it's a loop I have fond memories of.

Good ol Night Assailant one of my all time favorite cards! I just love the art and to this day I still run it in Shaddolls :D
One card you missed is Archfiend of Gilfer which has 2 loops. You can use him with Morale Boost, Fire Princess, and Gearfried (or Rod of Silence) . The other loop is Gilfer, Gearfried (or Rod of Silence), and Pandemonium, in this loop every time Gilfer is destroyed Pandemonium will trigger allowing you to search as many level 5 or lower Archfiends from your deck as you want.
While not a loop another cool use is if he's equipped to Power Tool Dragon, Power Tool will become indestructable since you can re-equip Gilfer every time it would die 😄

Where did you get the image for Butterfly Dagger - Elma that you used at 13:12 in the video? Because uh... the text on that image does not match with the IRL effect (unless it got changed at some point?) and would not allow these sorts of infinite loops.

Primal seed is a little more consistent using chaos emperor dragon, cause it's searchable with melody of the awakening dragon, but still it's a drag

Personally, I don't mind the concept of infinite loops in the game. They just can't be easy to pull off. Though, the nature of "easy" in Yugioh can be hard to pin down.

When I was a kid, my and my friends didn’t understood the rules of Yugioh very well, so I was able to use Ultimate Offering to normal summon ANY monster, including fusion monsters like Elemental Hero Electrum, who was my ace thanks to that broken misunderstanding of the card

hello i have been watching you videos for a long time now and i like the

All out attacks and cactus fighter was also a good combo back in the day with shrink.
A simple way other TCGs get around the "once per turn" issue, in many cases, is by making it so that effects limited to certain phases only trigger at the start of that phase. So for Samsara Lotus, instead of it special summoning during the End Phase, it is special summoned at the START of the End Phase. Thus if you somehow trigger two end phases, you can use the effect twice, but since it only triggers at the start, thus only when it changes to the end phase, you can't infinite loop with it. And in cases like MTG, its stated to be that in the game rules, not the card text, meaning they can keep the text short for having more effects or card lore while players still know it only happens at the start of the given phase
According to TvTropes’s Game Breaker page on Yugioh, that Colossal Fighter trick also works with Trick Battle (any battles destroy the stronger monster instead of the weaker, though damage is still dealt normally). Play CF and TB, and have CF attack a weaker monster. The opponent takes damage, but CF is destroyed due to TB, and can resummon itself to attack again and again until your opponent dies. Assuming that’s still legal, it’s actually way better than yours, since it not only lets you actually kill your opponent, but doesn’t require them to have a monster with ridiculous ATK.
What do you think about Chain Material loop combined with Elemental HERO Electrum and Superdreadnought to burn the opponent's Lp? Why are they not in the list?
Not consistent enough
I know this video is like 10 months old, but I'm surprised you didn't put Rod of Silence - Kay'est in here. The loops you can pull off with Vylons, Inzektors, and even Archfiends with it are kind of nuts and all of them pretty much deck special as many times a turn as you want.
I'm still confused about Butterfly Dagger - Elma. When you put up the card on screen, the text says, "You can target 1 Equip Spell Card in your Graveyard, except 'Butterfly Dagger - Elma'; add the target to your hand." How can it create this loop, if the card says it cannot target itself?
One of my favorite personal loops is cannon soldier, athena, darklord superbia on the field, with a copy of athena and any random fairy in the graveyard. Since Athena isn’t a hard limit, you can revive darklord to revive the other Athena, then tribute the Athena who used their effect to cause 1,100 burn per revive cycle. You could also use the little soldier if cannon is banned in your region to make the loop, you just do 600 per cycle instead. I found a way to make it consistent.

lol i learned in a hilarious way what red eyes flare vs beelze does, i was running popular red eyes flare deck w/ links (now unplayable due to agarpain etc being banned) but you could set out 3 of em 1st turn at best... my opponent played beelze, and attacked into my red eyes, infinite burning him and i was like, wait what? and then realized the loop :D
I like how you actually just talked about the sponser rather than put some silly music over it and reading a script they obviously wrote for you to say.
The best part is that he knew what he was talking about because he actually used their services. It felt like a friend or a co-worker was recommending it to me instead of some dude from the internet and that got my full attention.
Quite funny to see that most of these cards are very old ones.

Did you use the wrong image for Butterfly Dagger - Elma? The one pictured here seems to be loop-proof, seeing as it can't target itself or other Butterfly Daggers.

please make a video about top 10 cards that need their platform to be broken, like how beginning of the end wasn't being used in the past but when dangers came to the game it became broken, you know!!
Treeborn frog isn't "fixed" with the OPT clause. The only actual change is that if the effect gets negated in the Graveyard, he stays there. Technically you can stil reborn him constantly during the standby phase as many times as you want. So you could summon treeborn frog, tribute him with enemy controler, summon treeborn frog again, tribute with another enemy controler etc.
For OTKs I think Balmung and Des Counterblow is what I used to do, although I have not played in a decade now.
the proxy you used for Butterfly Dagger - Elma has a hypothetical errata that makes it unable to loop itself.

I like once per turn effects, specially when they are really good effects, what 'm not such a fan is hard once per turn effects specially if they are very restrictive with their application such as cost, the limit of the effects and the consequences, for example, the Link Harpie, which is awful specially when you compare them with previous harpie cards such as channeler or hysteric sign

At 13:12 why is the card text different from the described effect? The card text shown makes an infinite loop impossible.
Colossal Fighter is very easy to bring out. He’s even in my Satellarknight deck.
In my warrior deck. It’s as simple as Goblindbergh & LightSworn Raiden
Both level 4. 1 allows you to special summon the other. One is a tuner. CF a level 8 synchro who gains attack power with warriors in your GY, meaning it becomes a 3K beat stick turn 1, and it just gets stronger and stronger.
The text on dagger @13:20 says it you can choose any card that isn't elma; how does that work?
The image in the video shows the card with a wrong card text (maybe a Fan-Made Version trying to fix the problem with this Card). If you google "Butterfly Dagger Elma" you can see the real effect from this card.
I used Night Assailant with Dark Crusader once to gain infinite amount of attack power to OTK. Same with Wonder Balloons to put infinite amount of counters to always have your opponent's monster's attack power at 0.
Hello. Let me first say I like your video. Very interesting information. I was wondering if you play Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links (YDL). It is in both the Mobile format and on Steam for the PC. I would be curious to see if you could come up with a video like this for Duel Links. Also as a note of interest, some of the cards that are banned in the TCG and OCG are not banned in YDL.

Fire wall also worked perfectly with the dark World Monsters, especialy grapha dragon Lord of dark World
The image of Elma you put up says "when the equipped monster is destroyed" (probably an example of a way someone tried to fix the card)
Can't primal seed also be combo'ed with a card that bans cards from the match so you could just remove every card except for the ones in your deck from the match?

I want Elma back, but with an errata that requires a discard. It would still have small looping potential, but it would require a whole lot more setup. Alternately, once per turn clause would be perfect.
A loop that isn't broken ('cause it's not an FTK) I would mention is a loop kinda similar to the Elma loop (It has a card from the Guardian Archetype), but summons a bunch rather than draws a bunch. The Vylon Kay'est loop. Basically, you need 1 Vylon non-tuner (Doesn't matter which one, just has to not be a tuner), Vylon Element and Rod of Silence - Kay'Est, along with any Vylon equip. Kay'Est negates Spell cards that target the equipped target, and Vylon Element summons a Vylon Tuner from your deck every time a Vylon equip is destroyed, and all Vylon equips search another upon destruction, so you can easily loop out quite a few links and other monsters in a row using this combo (Especially since Kay'Est is searchable with Hidden Armory and Element is the only other card that isn't just a general Vylon card that you need).
What about Gateway of the Six with the new Six Samurai link monster?

I used Primal Seed in one of the YuGiOh GX games on GBA to gain infinite money. (with some other card, the combo was good)
I know this is old, but was it by gaining Life Points? Because in all the Yugioh games i've played the Life Points have a cap
