      I'm lucky enough to have been in a band with 2 other black guys who are DMB fans, but I feel ya on feeling alone in the crowd lol. I was fortunate to meet, and talk sax playing with, Leroi once upon a time. I love Jeff and what he brings to the table, but I miss Leroi's style. It, and he, were one of a kind :-)

  • @brianmccann5643
    @brianmccann5643 4 года назад

    Last point I'll make it's not like Boyd was charged with drugging and raping anybody (i.e. Cosby) or sexual assault (Weinstein)....or sex trafficking (Epstein)….these bastards deserve every bit they got and then some....heinous shit but these days....you ask somebody out that you're working with or touring with and its sexual harassment...I just don't see the immense hate for Boyd for these songs when his violin was so important to so many songs from Ants Marching to Satellite to #41 to The Space Between to You Might Die Trying to Grace is Gone to Grey Street to Warehouse to Pig...I could keep going....I just don't understand the immense hate....I get it for all the pigs that take advantage of women like the many I've listed above but I'm not really defending the man as much as I'm defending the original sound this band had....especially during this 2005-2007 era...the shows were incredible....youre not going to get that same chemistry today
