Bana's story

- Bana is the latest gorilla to arrive at Ape Action Africa. She was found alone in the forest by hunters who tied her up and beat her. No-one knows why she was alone or where her family group had gone. The chances of her surviving if we released her were remote, so the decision was made to take her to our sanctuary in Mefou National Park, home to 17 other young gorillas. This is her first few days with Ape Action Africa.

She is a doll.
💔 Beautiful bana ,thank u for saving her 💚🌴🐒🌴🌺🌴
@bookishfilly She is beautiful and she is now living in the forest enclosure after being very successfully introduced to a group of 10 gorillas. Her story is one of many tragic stories and it's great to see her with other gorillas. Thank you for your support!
she is so pretty..
@MJGenius11 Hello, she was only in the cage for a short time - she had to have a period of quarantine before being introduced to our other gorillas. She also needed time on her own because she had been severely beaten by the hunters who dragged her out of the forest. She was naturally very stressed and frightened when she came to us so she needed some quiet time to recover from her physical and emotional wounds. She is now a happy gorilla, living in a huge enclosure with 10 other gorillas!
@ApeAction Thank you for the information. Are you part of her rescue team? I admire you such people. You are one of the helpful soul that cares about animals. You are the voice of animals. Good job!
What the hell would anyone get out of beating an animal..
A one way, first class ticket to hell.
@pascal12312 Thank you for your support!
She is too cute!! How can I help in apprehending the jerks who harm these beautiful animals? They shouldn’t walk the earth as free people.
@ApeAction I see. Thanks a lot. Is the bush meat trade still very much prevalent in Africa? What can be further done to stop this trade totally? What other primates do you rescue too?
She looks so lonely in the cage....God bless her.
why are you keeping her locked up in a cage?? she is clearly old enough and well enough to be in the wild and isn't happy in that cage so why haven't you released her back into the wild she is not a baby?

@@ApeactionafricaOrg thank you for helping her
Why are you not volunteering and rescuing animals yourself if you are so concerned about their welfare. You sound ungrateful. You should be thanking these people for saving her and helping her
