Awee, I recently just graduated a surgical tech program this may. I just got a job last month and I love it so far . If you have any questions I’ll be happy to answer them . My best advice is to study your notes and download apps . There are so many great apps that helped me and still help me . Another thing is don’t expect to know everything when graduating . You will learn new things everyday in the operating room
@@bryantaragon2959 it Varys. Depending on which hospital, experience, and what state your in . I live in Ga and the average is usually 20-28 a hour starting off
It might be different for everyone but at some point ask about what are the best shoes for comfort to wear for any kind of nurse. I always make a mental note about the shoes a nurse is wearing.
Omg the stuff you’re learning seems so interesting to me! Lovely video. 😊 I’m looking forward to going back next September for my masters. We got this! 🙌🏽
how long is the program and what type of school you are taking the surgical technology program? and how much the total tuition fee to finish the course?tnx
There is not much patient interaction right? I mean maybe briefly with the OR nurse before/after anesthesia, but STs don't have much contact while the patient is awake? On another note, are the surgeons rude? Any recommendations for comfy shoes and does your hospital provide scrubs? What are the hours like?
I’m in the pre-surgical program and this damn anatomy and physiology class gonna be the end of me. AP labs doing just great but lecture test?? Yeah. Any tips?
Where? Community college? Or private? Wat state is that with tuition of 7 k pls? What school pls ? How long is the program ? 12-15months or 24months a lil over 7k?
