Ahaana Krishna is an Indian actor, who appears primarily in Malayalam films. Ahaana was born as the eldest of the four daughters of actor Krishna Kumar and wife Sindhu Krishna. Ahaana made her acting debut in 2014 with Rajeev Ravi's second directorial film Njan Steve Lopez. She then appeared in Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela in 2017 directed by Althaf with Nivin Pauly. In 2019 Ahaana starred in the romantic drama Luca along with Tovino Thomas. The same year, she also appeared in Shanker Ramakrishnan's Pathinettam Padi. She has acted in a web series Me, Myself and I. She has also directed a music video Thonnal. Her latest film Adi with Shine Tom Chacko is due for release and is a much-anticipated film. She is also a RUclipsr and a social media influencer. Her Instagram following runs into millions.
In this three part series Ahaana shares her thoughts on her career, the movies she has been a part of and her love for acting. She goes on to talk about her family especially her mom Sindhu Krishna. She is the eldest her siblings being Diya Krishan, Ishaani Krishna, Hansika Krishna. She talks about how it has been growing up in a family such as hers. She talks about the struggles the family has gone through to get this far.

This girl Ahaana is fake. She tells in all her interviews she loves meeting people and feels very free to interact with people. Before covid times, I happened to see her n her mom at a mall in tvm. Bcoz of awe n admiratiration I was looking at her with wide open eyes. But she kept on ignoring n was hiding herself among the hanging clothes. This was the time after luka and she was reasonably a known figure. When I came near her to have a word with her, she immediately picked up some clothes and rushed to the trial room. Whatever they show on the outside is very far from the reality.
Maybe she was having a bad day she didn’t want to interact w anyone see people have different mood you cant expect a certain behaviour from a person everyday.
Try to respect everyone's privacy...

This is just my opinion- It May or may not be right. I felt that she is not a great actress- she is good but can’t say an exceptional one. But she is a great model. She has an excellent sense of communication and personality as well. She keeps telling about getting a breakthrough in her acting career. Is it time for Ahana to change the direction of her search based on her talents ? It’s not to throw dirt on her that I’m telling this.
I din like couple of statements mentioning not having enough money. Having a driver to pick kids from school clearly indicates she had a decent lifestyle. There are kids who could not even afford school fees… that’s where attention is required. Not affording a luxury life style is not randu attam kooti muttal and Kadam chodikkal.
I know right. Ahaana needs a reality check. I think she is living too long in that house. Must venture on her own, live by herself may be setup her own something, buy her own car etc etc. Life is out of her comfort zone and she must plunge.
She is just saying she doesn't come from the ultra rich, luxury background that everyone thinks she comes from ryt. Tye struggle to maintain a certain lifestyle as your family and friend Circle, is also kind of a struggle if not the same as having to make ends meet
She is talking about the life challenges she faced not comparing to other people challenges.
Everyone have their own level of randu attam kooti muttikkal and Kadam chodhikkal.. to maintain whatever luxury you have their should be consistency.. that applies to everyone's lifestyle.. and at some point evry family goes through some struggle which is tough for them.. how can everyone have same life lesson and lifestyle.. so chill
She dint say she had a driver..she said her mom wud be there as a driver at the school to pick them. She only meant her mom was always available for the kids
After watching the 3 parts of this interview, Even though I love ahana as a person❤, but still, it seems like ahana was not so genuine in this. She is well prepared😂 and also she was just using some unnecessary motivational quotes 🙄.

I heard Sindhu commenting on her difficulties being a mother. She doesn't know the suffering of lower income people for she had helpers to assist her in household responsibilities. It's not her mistake.. It's the lack of social interference with common people.
If Sindhu mam is helping her helpers run a good family life, isn't that a good thing. To my eyes, Sindhu mam gave up some of her dreams for family life. We don't know her postpartum struggles either. I am not looking less at struggles of lower income earners. What I have seen so far is each person's struggle is different. Let's empathize and be helpful in whatever ways we can, let's not judge.
The last question should have been answered better. Question was infact not answered with a practical advise to people which is what Dhanya as a host expected.
All questions were answered too elaborately but without a real response.
Ahana is very well spoken..she has answers to all questions..maybe because she is doing imaginary interviews as she said, she answers without thinking too much.The standard of living or the living conditions are different for many people..This is probably what Ahana was trying to convey, if you look at her with a title of celebrity kid her life was not as luxurious as others think
No matter what class you are, you live within your means, debt free and giving back to society in whatever way. You dont spend beyond your capacity nor teach your children to do the same. its when you spend beyond, you feel poor and because you think you have to. Learn money management and benevolence. Stop the materialism. What the Krishnan family is doing is trying too live above their means and calling themselves poor. Sindhu Krishnan is encouraging daughters to monetize tjrough social media, product placement, advertising and through cinimas to pay husbands political career, her gold and diamond, expensive accessorens, clothing, designer handbags, vacations and hgh end hotels and drivers. Then they claim they are financially struggling, totaling exploiting the world, especially young social media users, capitalizing on their ignorance and naivety.
I think most of the middle class families can relate to what Ahaana said about making the ends meet. The loan, school fees, a dress.. the financial and mental stress is for real. Life is different for different people and you really cannot scale the struggles everyone faces.
That is because of the rat race of materialism....its not right,,,the moment you realize it, you can stop it....than becoming generational.
Exactly The life of middle class people is very difficult and stressful..from outside they look like rich people, those who live without any hardship..people label us like this, Even if you ask someone for money as a debt, no one will give it.They will say what is lacking in you..isn't everything going well?
But we know the real situation of our home, Only we know how each month passes..Only we know how to make ends meet

Rand attam kootikkal for me is cancelling gangtok trip.. Either my family would say it or i would voluntarily do it knowing our family condition.. Especially having 3 siblings in line.. But i completely understand her... Situation and difficulties differ for different people.. Mayb it was difficult for her

Her meaning of tough times might be different from yours and mine but for her that was the toughest time in their house. She doesn't have to think of the lower middle class people's struggle... her struggles might be different from ours and we have to accept that and understand her.

Why are you bringing this sort of self proclaimed celebrity to your show?
People are judging Ahana’s sorrows and struggles from the point of view “ithilum pavapetta aalukal und”. But she is talking about the financial struggles of living a poor life in upper privileged class. She compares her and her family’s difficulties with maybe her upperclass friends and families. That’s her kind of pain. So, its so deep for her. We cannot compare her upperclass pain with a kooli panikk povunna achanulla jeevikkan budhimuttunna private busil allipidich povunna govt school going kid. Different people- different life- different kinda struggles- different kinda pain !!!

Being in a love marriage means it was her (mother's) choice too. So She is destined to face the consequences too, good or bad!

@@dr.naseemabeautytree3100 it is very clear from her words that the family was maintaining a high standard of living although their income was not sufficient for that lifestyle. People who prioritise comforts over financial security are bound to suffer the consequences and that is what they went through… she is not even aware of that mistake… she talks as if low income was the root cause for all their troubles when in reality it was their choice to decide whether they want to go with a simple but peaceful life with in their income or a more luxurious stressful life living on loans and borrowed money. They choose the second option that is all …that is why I said the single statement about 40k tour and gold loan explains their struggle very well.

M sorry if Ahana is reading this .. because I felt like nobody can imagine/place you in a below average lifestyle role. Maybe because you are always presenting yourself like a Disney princess. Once i heard one story that, in the Sallapam movie, first heroine cast was Annie instead of Manju Warrior. But the director couldn't imagine Annie in a servant role. That's not because Annie isn't a good actress.
This is only the case of the Malayalam movie industry. Other industries are different.

Studied in a school which gets u for a trip worth 40k..me wondering we 3 kids never getting opportunity to go on a trip worth even 400Rs.. my mom was working and took care of all of us the same way as our father .. their life was nothing but trying to pay all the loans they took for different things.. home.. education....though a bank mgr she herself was, she cld never afford a costly saree as I remember. Still we didnt feel we struggled..might be because we never thought of anything more what we call a luxury for a mid class fam. My parents never kept a maid or had anyone for any help either. yet we never felt we were struggling to meet ends.. they used to help their extended families too so much..but never tried to buy us kids anything costly . And I think that's how it shld be.

And to pay fee for the four would have been a struggle. I feel bad for those people who expects everyone to have a sad story in their life. She has a decent family. She has had a pretty normal childhood. But some of the comments seems to have a problem with her for not having a difficult time in her life. Not everyone has a sad story. Some of our parents have made sure the kids are sensible and mature.
It's not bcoz she don't have a sad story... Her story is very normal but her exaggeration of problems is what people commenting for.

I love the quality that she love herself and considering herself as best friend.. but.. she is concentrating herself only and not seeing the society or l don't know what she is saying about financial problems and her mother's struggle.. definitely all the parents(99%) struggles to make their children's life better.. then she should mention her father also..( "for oscar" )her mother was not a working women.. and l think not that much than a normal working women do.She was not used to cook. They had maid.(she shared this in her interview that she only cook ghee rice and chicken curry)and that time also they had driver to pick and drop her mother. Also they were not studying in government schools.off course with 4 children all mother will be busy.. but not that much to explain in an interview.
I am 26, My first priority is take care my parents, as she said let them to do or buy what ever they want and also spend quality tym with them, yes now i am tryng my best. But i dont know how much i am doing ☺️. 😜

I expected her interview is going to be one of the best..but turned out to be one of the worst…somewhere I realized she has only talking skills but most of the time her talks make’s absolutely no sense….she has to go out and explore more than just her small circle. I am not talking about her struggle part..struggle might differ for everyone..and she did make sense (though no struggle is worser than not having money to have proper food, no medical attention provided when both mentally and physically it is requird and not even a single person to be concerned about u)

When I saw this interview, one thing which was dormant ressurected and that is nothing else but.. 'Njanum chanakam, neeyum chanakam, nammalellavarum chanakam..., '. Like father like daughter... Always in the air..
It is sad that the 3 parts of this show went very boring. Also, she always praises her mom for her sacrifice, yes we do respect her. But she never gave any credits to her dad for providing them a better education and livelihood. In our day to day our moms do a lot of stuff independently. They always have a driver at her home.
Ahana is living in a bubble, making someone like appachy their slave, while sindhu krishnan controls each of them for her materialistic desires of diamonds, gold, vacations and hotel rooms, pretending to live the lives of the rich and famous.

Sindhu is a kind of greedy lady and it has always shown in her video. Why is Ahana not speaking about her father in the interview? She always praises her mom for her sacrifices. We may think from her speech that, her father never cared for them financially. Lol.

There is an unhealthy co-dependence on her parents who is relying on her to pay their bills, while she remains in their cocoon without exploring true love. She is busy trying to fulfill sindu krishna and her materialism, not wanting to loose the label Ammu is my favourite child. She has become their karava pazshu and she likes that position because she tops siblings and because she has no romantic love. She is stuck there and self-talking as if she is happy, and while sindhu krishna is buying up gold and diamonds, selwars and spending money on trips and hotels. she has rapid fire answers to everything being so defensive....so is she a woman...and will she ever be independent....not if she truly acknowledges her true reality and makes correction

I have been watching dhanya chechi interviews for years. I like ahaana as well. I was so excited when I saw the community post. But to be honest going to unsubscribe ahaanaa's channel because she is completely a fake person to follow. She is projecting herself as a good person. That is visible from part 1 itself. To Danya chechi, as a viewer we suggest you to interview many people. Please double check as it may affect your credibility as well. Thank you
Seen a lot of negative comments in the previous 2 parts. A lot of people didn't like her candidness, I find her to be someone who is self assured and confident in setting expectations. This obviously has rattled a lot of folks who find it hard seeing a woman who doesn't fit into their 'submissive/subservient' bracket. Also everyone doesn't have to be dramatic or emotional to convey hardship, mopping doesn't come naturally to everyone. So stop putting folks on a pedestal just because they cry or whine on camera and think that is the gold standard for hardship. Emotions are a private state of mind and not everyone wants to bare their soul in front of strangers, Ahana, for me, I felt, is one of them.

Yes, it is disheartening to see that people are still in that regressive state of mind where they'd tag anyone fake if that person comes off as self assured. I agree that Ahaana has a lot to improve as an actor, but some comments in the previous 2 parts were too judgemental. The definition of hardship can be different for different people. For an actor's family, 3-4 years with no major work can be a huge setback even if they have other sources of income, especially when there are 4 school-going kids. And yes, not being able to buy enough clothes to our liking does make us feel poor(I too had such a phase in my life, and i can relate to her).
Ahana is the epidomy of unassured and weak, who is in the traps of her mothers materialism and shrewdness, and replicating it...she is rehearsed and has answers rehearsed to create an image but read between the lines. She enjoys being the centre of her parents attention and why woud she give that up, especially when she has no other life?

Her mom has also said before that they used to have a driver. The family had a membership in “ the Trivandrum club “ ….the membership itself will cost a huge amount. I directly know that these people went to tuitions that had very high fee structures. Then what is she trying to pretend??

Studying in Holy Angels Convent and talking about two ends meeting, what a contradictory statement!!!! Asfar as I know Sindhu is coming from a very wealthy family. So is it a must to talk about "struggles "in the family to "sell" the interview?
Holy Angels is one of the small and local school anyone can get admission in tvm. So leave that.

To Ahanaa, Though you told you are very informal, I always felt the other way. You are a very formal and private person. And when you said you are constantly dreaming and rehearsing your life moments, I felt that’s the reason why you don’t look original. Because most of the things you do and talk are already rehearsed. Sorry about judging you. But I had a eureka moment, when I felt like I found the reason why you don’t sound original. And wanted to share that with you. Anyways, you are awesome in your own ways.

I think many can't relate to her, especially self love, self awareness etc. But there are things like that. Other's ignorance is not her fault.I liked her clarity of thoughts and speech.
The best part of the interview for me, was where Dhanya asked what advice she wanted to share with others, and she summarised it as to be Best Friends with Yourself! Her description to be in constant touch with your inner child, and to be self aware, is such a strong and deep statement!! Thank you, Ahaana, for these beautiful words!
And also, I feel sad to see so many negative comments here about her. People are being judgemental in even the things she did not say! It is always the CHOICE of the interviewee to decide what aspects of his/her life to share, and we should be able to respect that. Each person's journey and perspective is different, her's too is, and it's as simple as that. I am really glad that Dhanya brings in all kinds of people to her interviews and definitely, each interview is unique and has it's own flavours!

This part completes it. Concludes our doubts. Why Ahaana seems fake but at the same time she makes sense. In whatever she says we feel it but there is a hindrance to fully take it in with pure heart. All because she was rehearsing it.. she had given these answers already and was polishing all along. She had spontaneous answer to everything she was asked and what she answered gets full mark too. So then I thought I was that partial bad teacher who didn't like this child. And I thought what a bad person am i because I thought maybe her confidence is making me jealous and all. That typical kusumb. But to resolve this, thank you Dhanya for that last question.

Smitha animon, she doesnt give good interviews and total fake, rehearsed to the bone, thinking she is being smart, but instead is sterile. She needs to livelife with a dose of reality than create create fake crisis and rescue, buying her way out to be number one daughter and number one is front of aunties...she is creating this narrative as if she is the hero.

No matter what class you are, you live within your means, debt free and giving back to society in whatever way. You dont spend beyond your capacity nor teach your children to do the same. Its when you spend beyond your means, you feel poor and because you think you have to keep up with the Krishnans, sukumarans, or what may you. Learn money management and benevolence. Stop the materialism. What the Krishnan family is doing is trying too live above their means and calling themselves poor. Sindhu Krishnan is encouraging daughters to monetize through social media, product placement, advertising and through cinimas to pay husband's political career, her gold and diamond, expensive accessories, clothing, designer handbags, vacations and high end hotels and drivers. Then they claim they are financially struggling, totaling exploiting the world, especially young social media users, capitalizing on their ignorance and naivety. Dhanya Varma also exploits her audience for her aim, fame and financial success, doing improper interviews, jumping on band wagon. call a spade a spade.
What she is saying is not about her financial struggles but about qualities of a good mother..but she is totally mixed up things

We cannot pay back to our parents because a parent s love to their children is selfless. We can just pass it on to our children. My parents and I are having seperate life. @@fallengulmohar721 It is not fair to think she hasn't done anything extraordinary in her life and hence should not be brought to the show. She has raised 4 confident girls which is not a minor task. She has started a RUclips channel in the late forties and lives a happy, content life. She is a strong woman who has always supported her daughters. And I think still there are so many moms who cannot unfortunately find quality time and resources for their children so it is wrong to generalize that every mother is doing the same.
I am pretty sure there are people who would like to listen to her insights about life, family and children. Pinne celebrity family aayathukond alla njaan avarude videos kaanunnath, athukond matram aanu reach kittiyath ennum thonnunnilla. I find her videos very relaxing with some positive notes. Perhaps you may get initiated to their videos for being part of the celebrity family, but will soon unsubscribe if not interesting.
