I truly love how you break down the chapters and give a recap to what we've read. I've always loved your preaching and the way you interpret the word, it's so eye opening. Thank God for you doing this 2025. Very much needed.
I haven't studied this intently in my entire Christian life. I'm so grateful for this plan and having three whole days completed. Not just reading through, but digesting, questioning, taking notes, reading different versions, etc. I challenge many to dive even deeper than reading and listening to this for "answers". Thank you, thank you, thank you.
My husband and I prayed for you today Dr. Manny and asked him to bless you for using you to do this to help us. You by the Holy Spirit have inspired us greatly and we are eager for this journey through the Bible. We are learning soooo much even though we have been reading the Bible for years!!! The Lord bless you!!! We are grateful. ❤
Jesus is consistently teaching us for his absence.. we HAVE the ability.🙌🏾🥹🥹😭❤️ I really wanted to hear that. He is right here, waiting for me to put what he has taught me to practice.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏
Come on Manny! This is gold thank you so much for this I get excited everyday to read more about the gospel of Luke. Never thought I’d be this happy to read the Bible. God is so good🥹
Soooo good today! We have the ULTIMATE Father - caring enough to prep those for life without Him (as a husband and parent, this hit me hard). I'm so grateful for Luke's Gospel and this running theme of outsiders in with specific emphasis on women and their role. The Jairus context clues were on point!
Me too, I listened to todays reading this morning on my way to work then I forced myself to read and watch the podcast before I go get groceries. I’ve never noticed this shift before, the shift of Jesus preparing the disciples and also the shift to Jerusalem and the inevitable crucifixion. The chapters are long so I also had to really discipline myself to stay focused on completing today’s reading. I’m grateful to see others admit the struggle. Let’s keep it going y’all! 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼
I don’t think there are any coincidences in the Bible. I never made the connection before about the woman’s illness for 12 years, Jairus’s daughter being 12, and Jesus calling the wiman “Daughter” connecting the two together. Amazing!
I am exciting about the word being teaches. It has me digging deeper after he gives the nuggets and timeless truths. I have people joining this course because it's an exciting journey watching Jesus work. As a leader I like his analogies about chain of command, authority and submission. Leaning into that to grow faith!!! No doubt the daughter connections us powerful. Thank you Jesus for revelation. Wash my heart and mind.
Did anyone else notice the healing of "only" children in these chapters? Jairus ONLY daughter Widow's ONLY son Demon possessed boy was the man's ONLY child There has to be something to that...right??

@thebibledept What were the women doing in Chapter 9 when the disciples were sent out?
Bro there’s a book in there on the connection of faith and authority. That’s a timely word.
Did anyone else notice the healing of "only" children in these chapters?
Jairus ONLY daughter
Widow's ONLY son
Demon possessed boy was the man's ONLY child
There has to be something to that...right??
