What a talented rider! Awesome editing, seamless as usual, and kept me entertained for the whole video. Thank you
It would be sweet if you could ride every sled offered this year. Arctic Cat, Yamaha, etc a big ask no doubt. Offer you’re perspective as a technical rider… love the content, super fun and balanced.

Matt I think I speak for the group that we need longer episodes! I just can’t get enough! I live in northern bc and we are getting dumped on right now, is revy seeing a pile of snow too?
I had the same key issue on my expert early this season but I haven’t had an issue since. But it’s been in the back of my mind every ride. “Is this the day I have to walk out”. Haha
Great seeing you on the Lynx. It seems more nimble than the Doo, but maybe nthat’s just the model… Love to see you have at it some more and compare all three of the sleds.
I just put on my BackwoodsBMP front and rear bumper last night. After I saw how it saved your sled when you hit the tree, I ordered it and they were finally available. I also have the MUNSTER finger throttle and I finally got a hold of the CKX helmet that you used last year. Great for being able to breath when I’m digging out and it’s too cold to take the helmet off. Your channel also introduced me to the Shredder last year which is why I got one. I hope these products that you use realize that you have influence without even selling the product.
I agree with you on the lynx skis. It’s definitely taken a lot of time to get used to; they’re a lot harder to turn in less than ideal snow conditions. But last week we had a 2-4’ dump of snow (we call low moisture snow “blower pow”) and they perform excellently in those conditions. Think I’m going to get some DS4 skis and just swap them out when it’s not powdery conditions.
Good day sir. I watch the videos as soon as i see they are uploaded. Would love to see you hop on a 270hp sidewinder Yamaha this season. Whats your perspective on 4 stroke sleds?
Glad you got to ride one such a cool sled, still like your G5 more. Ive noticed your most recent videos you can really see your personality coming outt, your video progression has come so far :) Love to see how comfortable you are opening up to your audience. As always, great video Matt :)
In another year or so I'll bet your subscriber level will well into the hundreds of thousands for sure how could it not your videos are epic. Love them. All the way from Ontario
I rode the trail Lynx, it was pretty bad ass right outa the box suspension wise. Way better then anything Polaris sells for trail. Wish they'd shave the tops off the side panels and put XRS style seat on it for trail. The front of seat ended to soon for shorter guys that need to get up on the front for speed cornering, that's where that point of side panels bangs off knee
My skidoo gives me the "wrong key" issue all the time on my gen5 turbo. Hope BRP addresses the DESS on that, luckily never had it go while actively riding. Usually happens after a sled on/off it seems like.
Matt. I know it going to be hard for you but you need to try a Kitty to Ride . They say the new 2023 cat is lighter and Sweet to Ride. But you May the Call. You Still the Best Video film Crew out there .
Lovin the Lynx. I have the exact same sled you were on today. I must say I like it more than the Gen 5 Expert. Except the color, sure hope they have some better colors next year, two different colors of red...barf. They could have at least made the chassis and the panels the same color red! Oh well, we don’t buy them for the color. Anywho, it seems much more predictable to me than the Summit, even with the new Expert skid. It is way better than the T-Motion/FlexEdge bullshit though. I guess that’s the whole point with the Lynx. However, I’m a little disappointed it has the older style track though. Yes, that snow may be dry “champagne” for up there, but nothing comes close to how dry the snow is here in Utah. I’m certainly not saying I’m not envious of you getting to ride Revi everyday, but our snow is much lighter than anything up there. So there! 😂
I'm a Utah resident as well. Dont be too jealous of Revy this year. I was there last week and Utah has been better this year. However, I'm interested in the Lynx now that they have a 34" front end for 2024. now i cant decide Freeride, Summit Expert or the Lynx. they all have their place but since I haven't ridden any of the 24's I don't want to sink 22K and buy the wrong one.
@@ianbergman965 You don’t need to ride a 24’ to know. They’re all the exact same as the 23’s. Except for the 34” front end on the DS I suppose (or if you’re going for the 146, tempting, but it’s quite the rodeo session even on 154 turbo). I ran my DS with the skis moved in (so 35”) and didn’t even notice the difference, so I doubt you’ll notice a difference. I had a 34” expert for 22’ and it would panel out more than I noticed a difference in handling. Personally I’m moving back to Doo and Freeride this year. I went with the Lynx in the first place for the 15” track. Yes, the suspension was better on the Lynx than the Expert, but I feel the Freeride is just as good. Maybe not as great out back for huge hits, but I like the way the Doo suspension transfers more than the Lynx. I would get the black RE if I was going Lynx again. Plus I can’t get over that mint color, love it! Even though that’s not a great reason to buy a sled. It still has to factor in right!? 😂 Put it this way, if you could get a Lynx in mint green that would probably be what I would do lol. I hate the red I have this year, especially since it’s two different colors of red! I do like the grey on it though. So 🤷
@@specforged5651 that’s funny you mention the colors. The red, I love. The mint I can’t stand haha. So it’s difficult. If the freeride was any other color I wouldn’t hesitate.
@@ianbergman965 Haha! I sure wish Doo would do like Polaris. However, that’s about all I wish they would do like Polaris 😂. It’s bullshit they offer one color, maybe two if you’re lucky on each model every year. Plus, it’s all of about ten colors total just mixed in different combinations. Polaris there are dozens and you can design different parts of the sled different colors to suit you’re liking. Ridiculous Doo can’t at least off a couple different combos. Well I guess there’s two things I wish Doo had off the Polaris. Colors and a display that is worth a shit. That 7s is their best feature and it works really well. Doos new $1200 display is nothing g more than a glorified digital tach and speedometer. I was really hoping they were going to make that display at least functional this year. If not to compete with the competition than at least do it for the safety of all riders. Manufacturers need to swallow their pride and have tracking of both makes available. Pretty much everyone out there rides with mixed brands and it really is an amazing safety feature to be able to not only have great gps, but see where your group members and for that matter, all other riders are. It has saved our ass a couple times in really bad storms. While a great addition, radios only do so much. If you’re going to order one, whichever model it is, you better hurry. That is if you want the worthless larger display, that option is very limited this year. First come first serve. Good luck with your decision 😂! 154 turbo mint green freeride it is for me. I damn near ordered a 146 just for fun, but with a turbo, they are already hard enough to keep from coming over backwards.
