    Have you paid attention to ur max rpms on 9r? Lots of 9r’s are hitting 8650-8700 rpm. Weather low elevation clutching or high. I had to add 2 grams of weight. Im now 8300-8400ish. Really woke 9r up!

    I love what you stated at 1:30 through 1:50. Like you said you can’t really compare the 2 sleds and it will be super nice to have a sled to rip around through the trees and a sled where you can just have so much fun playing around with it in the open. Thank you for saying this. Amazing content, keep it up!

    At the dealers they all use a lift with fork extension without any protection on these steel extensions

  • @thesnake7928

    Mid and rear suspension changes affect the Polaris's front end quite a bit. If you have compression dials Hard in the front and soft in the rear will decrease ski pressure, hard in the rear soft in the front will increase ski pressure.

    I rode a G5 turbo R yesterday and I was absolutely blown away by the seamless power and throttle response. Now I realize why I have seen them forsale with no miles. People do not realize the power they have. Definitely Definitely a sled for the experienced rider. I ride an 850 polaris with bikeman stage 2 and it's a weapon also. The doo had me vocal in the helmet. Hahah. What a rush.

    Here is something I learned watching nearly every video you have produced... when you are laughing you are having a blast and when you are talking a lot as you ride you are having fun. It just seems like you cant wait to park this 9R and get back on your Ski Doo. I hope you have a minute to comment about my observations... I try not to bash the competition but it seems obvious you aren't having much fun on this thing.

  • @adampetten1009
    @adampetten1009 Год назад

    The ski pressure you refer to is probably due to the rear suspension, the Poo has a coil rear shock so it does a better job pushing on the rear of the skid, the doo has the torsion with pushes down on center of the skid. The doo will be a better big hit sled but the poo will track a little better as you notice. Could do a coil over rear suspension on the expert and they will probably feel more similar besides one being lighter and one having more power. Also I like the wrap on the Poo better, wasnt a fan of the Grey in the doo wrap.. the almost blue chrome on the black is really stand out. Also I'd have a day dropping those cliffs, my favorite is the gut lifting feeling falling from the sky.
    I said on one of your videos before about ditching weight. When we find a general play spot I always drop my tunnel bag, that packout set up must be heavy too.

      @R1Kyle Год назад +1

      @@208SledHead Some are, I am not as I just like what is better built. Many western Canadian's HATE BRP because of the Quebec link; even though very little of BRP is still owned by a Canadian entity. My two buddies call my Skidoo "That french machine" even though one of them is french and from eastern Canada. French Canada and French Canadians have done so much to destroy this country I really do not know why I ride one. I think that is because BRP is largely not owned by the Canadian Bombardier now. Truthfully I would likely be on a Polaris if they were just not so unreliable. I know all brands have their problems but Polaris has many more.
      But hey you tell me --> If you are American how emotionally invested are Americans into anything America and that flag yall wave.

    • @208SledHead
      @208SledHead Год назад

      @@R1Kyle I'm a proud American, but I know we're arrogant assholes too. I'm not brand loyal either. Something I've noticed though is how emotional a large percentage of Ski Doo riders are. They(a lot) over exaggerate Polaris' "faults" while they turn a blind eye when a Doo goes down. Take Muskoka's first ride on his Gen5 for example - if that were a Polaris that he was on, and the clutch was making all that noise and the plastic broke already - that comments section would've been a SLAUGHTER HOUSE. But since it was a Doo, you didn't hear shit. And that's what I'm trying to bring to light. I'm tired of the disingenuous brand bashing and dishonesty. The snowmobile community is better than this. We aren't fuckin metal mulisha or biker boiz. Nothing is wrong with preferences, but I wished we could all grow up a little and take the emotional ties out of it.

    Rode one yesterday, don't like the foot well things at all. My gen5 850 na has same power maybe more. 9r was more stable on poor snow.

      @@MuskokaFreerider glad to see you got your 9R it’s lookin Sik. I know in another post you said u haven’t adjusted your suspension yet and it’s a total preference thing but it would be awesome to see you take a cpl minutes and show everyone what settings you ended up with clicker and preload wise. Like I said everybody is different and I bet I change mine a half dozen times a day in different conditions. Thanks for making the vids u rock. Squamish BC 🍻
