    I was just watching stats from 90s. It was time of the giants ( giants in basketball skill and superstars, and centers who dominated the league). But back than there was like 10 to 20 players who averaged 20+ points. And as I remember team werent so close as they are now. Now you have 10 teams on west and east who can win all or blow it. The competition is so high. And most games are really close, won in last minutes. Same with players. There is so many truly awesome players. Every team has one or more superstars. I still dont know how Embid was last year MVP.

    • @LeeeWai
      @LeeeWai 6 месяцев назад +1

      I would prupose more MVPs. Maybe based on position they played, maybe based on statistics and votes or something else. Now we have MVPs picked or at least promoted by few people in media. For me it would be more interesting if there were more awards and people would remember great players who cant win MVP since there is so many elite players.

      If everbody is a star then nobody is a star....with with this kind of defense and effort esp on the defensive side its much easier to score 20 or more. NBA is boring,all teams play the same brand of non copetitive basketball,only chuking 3s and running with no defense and real effort.

      "Prime harden had no bag" lol okay bud. You dont average 36 for a season with no bag. Jordan averaged more fta a game than harden. Does that make Jordan a free throw merchant? I'm not even a harden fan, but you cant deny his greatness

      @@FuttBuckerson69 Harden had no bag thats just a fact and common sense. Is stepback 3's, foul baiting and occasional floater having a bag? No its not, it was not hard to average 36 with those rules as soon as they changed the rules for foul baiting Harden's numbers dropped he went fron averaging 34 ppg to 25 ppg. He went from MVP candidate and a superstar in RS to inefficient star player every year in playoffs in Houston. He was way to predictable in the playoffs and it was easy to lock him down he couldn't handle any contact and there was no refs to bail him out

    Harden got most of his points prior to the NBA removing FT baiting. And it showed in playoffs, when refs tightened calls and allowing less of FT baiting moves. And Harden may also have had a 60 point triple double, he didn't have 20 rebounds. Luka even becomes a bigger killer in the playoffs. It's just a matter of time before Luka scores 72, 74, and even 82 the way he regularly scores over 30 in a half nowadays. A matter of time before Luka gets the mythical 30-20-20 stat line. He's not prime age yet.
