LNER B1 61264 stalls at Grosmont!

  • On the first train of the day the B1 slipped to a stand by Grosmont. sheds, after a telephone call Schools class 4-4-0 Repton is attached and banks the B1 as far as Goathland. Taken Sunday the 15th of October 2017

    Probably a bit embarrassing to stall RIGHT next to the sheds but they got going eventually. Great footage

      Matt Seymour it was the first train of the day, damp rails and poor adhesion, and perhaps a bit of “operator” error!

      So does it affect the grip when not been run on for periods of time?
