Cool tutorial. Steam locomotives great and small are endless fascination!

It would be useful if your video showed the device used for filling the fuel tank and also the 'ventilator'.
Other useful info would be the kind of fuel used - the type of water - and the grade of steam oil.

I understand what you are saying but in most of my other video`s ( 700) you can find all this info, so I thought that most viewers would know by now. The fuel we are using is Methanol or Ethanol above 90% but this depends on in which country you live. The water should be demin. water and the grade of steam oil is the thinner version I think it is grade 400 so not the heavy stuff that that the ride on boys ( 5inch or more) are using, this is to thick. Hope this is of any help.

I am a little bit surprised by the O-Ring ( press in ) plug for the Alcohol / Meths fuel tank instead of the traditional screw - on caps of older models. Lovely engine by the way.

They did it before at Aster having this system so it should work I think. Glad that you like it.

    Bonjour Bram,
Very instructive video indeed ! Just a question, I have seen drain cocks on this locomitive, not necessary to use them to start ? Or are they false ?
    Amicalement, Raphaël

Does it have drain cocks on the cylinders?
