I have a gorgeous blonde maple J200 that ive playwd over 3000 gigs with in 30 years, its got an L5 Baggs saddle pick-up. Its so worn, ive rubbed a hole with my little finger through the face. It will be passed onto my children when i pass, a true family airloom that is cherished. Thats how good these Gibson J200s are. I love them all 😁

It is soooooo big...ebony and rosewood ...great sound
Nicely played again Lemmo but as a number of people have commented, something a bit off acoustically. Sounds good, but there is a slight dullness to it. But we are listening through RUclips and it may be perfect in store.

Pre-war J200 also had rosewood b/s and ebony fingerboard/bridge, so this was modeled after the originals. Maple b/s was post war.
I m a sucker for Rosewood but at least you played it in the beginning without an amp . Nice guitar can you play a J45 with Rosewood please I know it’s rare 😃👍🏻🎸❤️

The design on the pickguard is usually scratched off from that era. Was this one made different and were older ones? Have they fixed this one new ones?

This guitar is my favorite
Rosewood SJ 200 very warm and lots of midrange. Maple SJ 200 brighter and punchier bass. They’re both great but very different and they all look beautiful.

Those strings Acoustically sound DEAD ! But plugged up, the Guitar sounds amazing . Might want to actually invest in NEW STRINGS , LOL , Before Demo of such a Great Acoustic Guitar LOL . Rosewood sound amazing in these GIB J 200 .

At last, a real acoustic guitar. A fantastic acoustic guitar !!! Started out real good, but then he had to plugged it in. Oh yeah, and don't forget that damn stupid looper. Flat top Friday is about acoustic guitars. That means no use of electronics. Just a straight demo done acoustically.

All the 90s Gibson j200 have that crazy checking. I always wonder what was going on at the company to cause this
That checking is the reason I don’t buy Gibsons later down the line it cracks on it n I have seen to many 🥵😵☮️

Beautiful guitar but disappointed you plugged it in. Basically at that point we're hearing the fishman sound, not the Gibson sound.
