I definitely play waaaay better walking, I own a MGI electric cart but
I’m really contemplating buying my own personal riding cart (go golf caddy) .
I feel it keeps you in the moment mentally and golf is really played in your head & why not give yourself every opportunity to play your best …
Yeah something about spending time by yourself inbetween shots keeps you focused!
Having my own riding cart is definitely a goal! lol you must live super close to a course to be looking into that!
I’m jealous! Lol
I live in Ohio used to live in the bay area…
I was thinking about the golf skate caddy for it’s portability…
Great job on your channel & good luck on your journey!!
Good stuff!
Had to look that up! Those look so dope! Man that would be perfect for golf rounds lol. Wish I had $4k to blow! lol
@@quaypotts I know right.. it would probably take a couple years for it to pay itself off (depending on how much you play) … I played a round with a Finn scooter and it was amazingly fun. Since then I’ve been on a mission to find something in that category that’s portable… I do have a electric Cart MGI that I paid $1200 (brand new) now I see that same cart for $2000 plus… it’s crazy lol.. see. Your last video at black n gold did you have some one shooting for you cuz the video looks reaaally good .. keep it up brochacho lol
Yeah it 100% would pay for itself eventually.. but let’s just say for sake of argument it doesn’t.. I still would rather have something like that because it’s cool and makes playing the game more fun and enjoyable. And it’s always nice to be the guy out there with the coolest tech haha . Worth it!
And yeah I had the gf holding the camera for me on pretty much all my videos. I don’t record myself .. too much of a hassle lol. Luckily for me I have a girl that’s happy to be out there recording me lol
Been walking (with trolley) for 40+ years. I feel your conditioning impacts how you play especially the last 5 holes.
Carrying your bag on the back of your back is ultimately bad for your back, health and enjoyment of the game.
Sure if i'm on holiday at a guest resort i will use the cart if obliged to but locally, i walk. Love from Melbourne.
40+ years is awesome!
And yeah I can’t bring myself to carry a bag for a full 18. Sounds awful lol
I agree 100 percent. Walking you can set your own rhythm and not be distracted by others. Biggest plus is like you said (perfectly) sometimes near the greens you want to change clubs but don't because cart is too far away so you compromise try to do different type shot (lower percentage of success) and fail. That bad shot sticks with you a few holes.
Absolutely! I don’t know how many times I dropped shots just from hitting the wrong club near the greens. Because when you know you have the wrong one, you aren’t swinging with confidence and just playing mental gymnastics on how to swing. lol
I really enjoyed watching your videos-! 😀
Really appreciate that! Means a lot 🙏🏾🙏🏾
This video is right on time. Been thinking about trying out walking after cart riding for years. But for the fitness benefits as well as save cart fees
Yeah these cart fees getting crazy! lol
Get those steps in! 😁
gotta get this belly fat off! lmao
@@quaypotts stoooop 🤣🤣🤣
I agree with you. Walking keeps you moving and keeps the blood flowing… carts you hit and sit losing any kinda of momentum. Best way I can describe it is that it’s like basketball… you play and when you sit for a period of time, your body goes cold. But there are some courses that’s just impossible to walk.
Absolutely agree with that basketball analogy and also yes, some courses don’t even allow you to walk lol
Good tip when taking wedges to the green. When you take your putter with you leave the cover on. Once you hit your shot onto the green set your wedge and putter cover together.
That’s a good one too! Also heard of putting your wedge down on the green on the path you’d take to walk back to your cart.
i just started walking a few months ago and i thought i was the only one that loves the tired feeling after 18.
and i will like to add . a key thing is to eat when your walking.
Rub absolutely! Nothing better than coming home after a round, hop in the shower and sit and relax on the couch drinking something cold ! lol
And yes. You just have more time to eat when walking up to your ball. Didn’t even think about that when making this video
