Instagram- AdamTheWooATW I broke the rules and paid my due but feel as if proper signage needs to be posted in the future big events. I feel bad for others who were confused on where that can park and after a fun night with their family arrive to having their car missing.
It doesn’t seem like you broke the rules since the parking in lines warning wasn’t on the lot tow sign that you parked in. The comparison between the lot you were towed from and the Starbucks lot clearly has a difference in rules. I think they have the cash fine not be too high so you are happy to pay and get your car back. If it was a significantly higher fine, they would probably be stopped from towing from that lot - or to change the sign. Merry Christmas. Enjoy your new place. I hope you have excellent parking available to you at the new place.
Good on you to be honest enough to admit the fault. But then again, has anyone ever heard of a tow company 'being wrong' (I mean anywhere, anytime) and correcting the wrong they committed?
As if you didn’t already need a reason to move! Merry Christmas and thanks for all the videos! Some I like more than others, but it’s your channel, your life…from empty small towns to packed parks, appreciate seeing it through your eyes!
You’re so nice to let people know about the towing situation. It’s so sad to see that happen to families who innocently park to just enjoy the evening. It is very predatory.
I find it pathetic that residents don't have parking spots when living in an apartment complex. I'm sure they charge you an arm and a leg for your apartment, and to not even have designated parking for you is unacceptable. Hope you like your new place. Have a Merry Christmas!
I had my car ticketed in my apartment complex parking lot years ago. The rage I felt about the cops coming into my complex and ticketing people... 100% designated apartment complex parking. How is that cool at all? (not in Florida)
🎅 Santa Woo! Of course you couldn’t stand there all night warning others about the parking situation but the ones you were able to warn and were able to move their cars will have a much better Christmas thanks to you.
I scratch my head when comparing punishments in society. Hundreds in costs to get a car back that was blocking no one compared to crimes people can now commit and walk without one penny in fines or bail. In this case it’s about REVENUE and not public safety.
Actually I think that ,you Adam, should be allocated a parking spot as you are a resident. Here in Ontario, the majority of apartments are all given their own parking space. Sad you had to pay😢 I do wish you and yours, a Very Merry Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year!!🎉

The towing company want you to park on the grass. The last thing they want is a sign saying "Do not park on grass". They make their money by making others slightly miserable.
Hello Adam, love the videos by the way but I have been towing for 20 years and sometimes hate being that guy. But it’s a job too. All those properties contract with tow companies to keep there parking lots clear and make sure everyone is following the rules just like on the highway. The tow companies usually have a spotter that drives through and tells the other guy what to look for. It usually only takes 5 minutes or less to load a car and there gone. No parking on the lawn is generally a common since rule. Here in Denver we tow a lot of cars and being you only paid 175 is good because it’s a lot more here. Keep up the good fight my boy and only park in designated parking spots to avoid this problem. Go home and sleep well
@@TheDailyWoo I parked my car on the street once and even blocked it in to wake up the next morning and find it gone. Some tow truck operators get very creative on towing cars. Merry Christmas to you and your family Adam . May the new year bring many blessings. God bless
I knew that was gonna happen.. I even said it while you explained the parking situation. They DO NOT have free rein they are overseen by a department within the city. my buddy was told to pay $75 without the truck being hooked up for a drop fee and that company called Atlantic towing in West Palm Beach was cited by the inspector for having a complaint launched against them. Which I would definitely check out, especially because you live there. But if you have photos of the spot you were in as a resident you may be able to get your money back or at least make a complaint.
The sign DOES NOT say must be be parked in marked spaces. They should have to say that in order for them to legally tow vehicles from a maxed to capacity parking lot.
Merry Christmas Adam! I'll be frank with y'all I don't trust Tow companies simply because of the high prices they charge and how scummy most of them are. We have Busy Bee Towing in our area and they are absolutely horrible.
That was very kind of you to let those families know that they shouldn't park there. There should be sogns stating that you cannot park on the grass. Merry Christmas.
This was kind and helpful of you to not only let as many people as you could know what happened to your car, but to put it up on this video. I am sorry that happened to you. Sadly the reason there's no signage is because they (the towing company) wants you to park somewhere they can tow. It would really be up to Celebration or the event themselves to either put up special signage, put up cones, put someone in the parking lot like you were informing people where they can park. From what you showed it really seems like a pretty cruel thing to be towing people (especially families, and especially during the holidays) because very clearly people are just trying to find somewhere to park. They aren't on a sidewalk, in front of a fire hydrant, on someone's personal property, etc. Glad you're moving away from there soon!
I would say that there should be a complaint filed and maybe next year they should consider hiring a private security company to handle parking enforcement. And if you only paid a $175.00 then count your blessings because you got away cheap. I would suggest calling whatever jurisdiction that you are in and ask if there is a regulated distance that a wrecker company can tow from. A. The point of pick up. And B. back to the impound lot.
@@bradmad8346The towing industry here in Fla needs to be regulated a little bit more than it is. Anybody can buy a wrecker and go into business for themselves, you could even do it. Some of these companies hire people without doing any kind of background checks and so you the consumer may not know who is towing your car/truck. I think that the city’s and county’s need to do a little bit more regulation to protect the consumer.
Gotta sit in a spot with lawn chair. The town should have signs or cones blocking of areas not to be used. Not one sign that is vague as F! Good that u helped some families avoid a bad night. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
In a parking lot most all spots are marked by lines. When it’s full parking in the grass is no different than someone trying to park on the sidewalk. You simply don’t park there. Common sense 🤷🏻♂️
Reminds me of back when people would park in my dad's yard by the street. After replacing 1/2 dozen sprinkler heads, he finally used boulders to stop it. He used to get so mad.
It's a perfect way to create animosity amongst attendees and they'll ruin the event for dozens of people. I see no problem when overflow situations exist and they are not blocking traffic flow to simply ticket them. Good grief its a bad situation.
I realize this isn't quite related to this particular vlog, but It makes me chuckle when you say "sad trombone" when things don't go to plan. I dont want these things to happen, but that certainly lightens the situation.
When you're paying for rent, which I'm sure isn't cheap in Celebration, you should have a designated parking lot, key card with gates. Just for the residents. It's truly not right that you have to walk blocks to get to your residence. Im guessing you knew this moving in. These tow companies are making bank.
Dang that towing company is the grinch!! How horrible for families and out of town guests who had no clue!! Glad you got your car back Adam!! Merry Christmas! 🎅🏼🎄
I never knew that towing companies would contract with the town in that way. Given that, you can be sure they will be trying to max out their profits. In New York almost every street has at least 1 lane blocked by double-parked cars in the street, yet I've never seen one being towed. Celebration needs to put better signs out for that parking lot. A simple "no parking grass" sign would solve the problem. Sorry that happened to you, Adam! Have a better day tomorrow! Merry Christmas!
They all have contracts like this. Public lots, private lots, HOAs. Typically when the contract is written, details are exchanged, parameters defined, even a site visit occurs, and those tow companies adhere to those rules (typically).
Private communities like Celebration have a lot of amenities, but VERY strict rules that can cost residents and visitors BIG money for even slight violations. I make it a point to avoid them at all costs.
Predatory towing is what it is called. They park the trucks down the road and will have spotters in the lots that will radio the trucks to come over. They will pull them out with the snatch truck then bring them down the road and the flatbeds will pull them back to their lot two at a time.
Celebration is an HOA community. It is not a city or town. It has an HOA board. NO City or town government, no police, no fire. It is merely a part of Kissimmee.
Sorry that happened to you Adam,... I feel like there's an issue where there are laws that people are just "supposed to know" but there is never signage. For example in NYC, you need to leave 12' for fire hydrant clearance by just across the river in NJ it's only 6' clearance but there are never signs or paint to indicate where the range is.
I think that the town is getting a kick back. You would think that all this towing would deter people from coming to Celebration for the holidays!? If the town knows how parking is/gets, why don't they address the problem?....because they have a hand in the pot too! Why aren't there resident parking and public/visitor parking areas? If I were paying the price of rent I would demand I have a parking space AT ALL TIMES!
I've never been towed but my friends have. Here in California, expect to pay $ 350 - $ 400. Yes, cities contract with the Tow Companies ahead of time and the deal is the city gets a major cut. The Tow Companies get volume TOWS.
Adam, you were parked on the grass. That is not a parking space. You want them to paint “no parking” on the actual grass like it was painted on the curb?
I gotcha . As I stated at the beginning I “broke the rules” and paid my due. Just feel bad for the families that did the same with no clear indication it wasn’t allowed . Understand ?
@@TheDailyWoo I get it. Sort of see both sides. They’re kind of “double dipping”. Celebration wants people to patronize the event to generate revenue, but then the parking is a nightmare and they’re making money on the towing, too. You’re right, it should have been clearer that parking was only allowed in designated parking spaces. I agree with you in that it totally sucks for the families. Puts a damper on what should otherwise have been a fun experience. Anyway, happy holidays and thanks for all of the entertainment.
Yeah, of course, grass is no parking, but if a vehicle isn't in the way, I think it should be a ticket, not a tow. Towing is not keeping the grass clear.
Hey, Adam, looking forward to 2024, and the new adventures you’ll share with us! Sorry about your car being towed. Really lousy. So, in the meantime, have a very Merry Christmas! We love you, sir!❤️❄️⛄️🎄
Adam - I live in the Celebration area. My car was also recently towed. I live in an apartment community not immediately in the celebration downtown area. I recently bought a much larger vehicle so I’m still getting use to parking. I parked over the line. My car was towed to Haines city! My security system shows my car was entered w/in an hour of my parking. There were multiple spaces empty when I parked that night and the next morning multiple park spaces were empty.
It’s a cash grab with the tow companies. They don’t care about crowds and parking situation. They want that easy money……Also how crazy you just made a video about tow away signs for not in the lines.
@@TheDailyWoohopefully it will but you did what you could with helping people. You can’t help them all. Also Merry Christmas to you and your family, I’ve been a longtime fan.
When I was there recently, I noticed that the cards after 2 PM or 3 PM could be towed that are parking downtown if you get there around 11 you’re in pretty good shape downtown if you’re just gonna hang out for a little while. If you really want to be down there, you gotta get there early and expect a camp out all day… the word is out, they should take a couple years off to level out the situation..
Agreed. A lot of times there are kick backs to city leaders. There was a huge ratchet in Detroit for a long time. LEGALLY parked cars were being towed. I will say that the tow companies are hired to do a job. They are contracted. They have to enforce the rules. The only way they are making money is if they are towing. It’s tough.
That seems shady to me. No parking rules posted, and having to pay cash to get your car out of impound. If there are rules, maybe they should consider suspending them at certain times, given the amount of traffic? Anyway, have a Merry Christmas!
City Council “ The Christmas Celebrations will cost the city $10k but income from towing and “our” towing companies will bring in $15k”. All in favor!!!!
I think tow truck companies are pretty ruthless and this is probably one of their best paying nights of the year so yes they're gonna take every opportunity to get your vehicle and make their money and you're lucky if they don't go into your vehicle and take stuff I've had that happen to me before.
Thought Woo’s car broke down like mines did twice this year. Am just grateful that van is old news even tho it took me everywhere. Here’s to a better 2024.
Merry Christmas Adam sorry to hear your car got towed especially that close to home for an now anyway ! And right here at Christmas and there’s not one sign that says no parking on the grass in that lot, like you said, I feel sorry for all the families that come to visit and have to deal with that🎄🎄🎅🎅
Adam this has to be one of your best videos bud. Clearly exposing the loop in the system. Some one needs to place a post sign on the grassy areas to make sure no one parks there.
I just to tell you to have the "Merriest of Christmas's and the Happiest of New Year's." 2024 will be an unbelievable year for everyone. Kindness will rule. The best of times for you and yours. 😊
When I lived in celebration, it was over Halloween. It took me an hour to get from the Catholic church to the Celebration Hotel. It gets so busy during Holdiay events. I feel like it is the place where all of Florida goes 😂
It’s a corrupt cash grab for sure. They know the place is packed & it’s a chance to make some end of the year money. That’s probably one of the most messed up things I’ve seen in a while. I mean, it’s Christmas & people are coming with their families to make memories not deal with something like this. It’s messed up they do that but won’t build a parking garage to accommodate the crowds. What the heck do they expect people to do?! I live in GA & that would’ve cost u $500 to get your car back here. Then again, they let people park in the grass in lots here so I guess they wouldn’t be towing them in the 1st place. I’ve never seen a tow truck show up that quickly either.
Thank you for your informative video on the a-hole planners of Celebration,FL.’s holiday arts festival. The city NEEDS to be VERY specific on where one can legally park, signage is key as well as having an attendant in all parking lots. If the city doesn’t want parking in certain areas during the holidays, just give people a big parking ticket, as private towing companies are the only ones benefiting. Have a very joyous Christmas🎄🎄🎄
To be fair Adam, on December 21st you did a video where you showed tow signs in those parking areas that stated parking was “permitted in lined spaces only.” Sometimes there are sprinklers in those green belt areas and parking a car on top of them can crush and break them. There is also a rule that firetrucks must be able to navigate through all parking lots, and if parking goes beyond the lined spaces, it can block those trucks. But, Sorry it happened to you.
I have not seen The Woo ever getting angry or losing his cool. This guy is great example, and a good role model for younger folks, on how to handle bad situations. 🙂👍 Merry Xmas Adam.
This is real world. Sometimes you tell someone something & they don't believe you, make you feel like you're up to something, make you feel dumb; do the best as you can for as long as you can, is the right answer.
Watching this video, I can guarantee you you’d never catch me there. I hate crowds and I even hate heavy traffic more but I like what it looks like when it’s not during the holidays in the videos that you have shown.
that's a bummer, your car got towed away. i'm glad, you got your car back. that was nice of you to warn everyone about parking there. i hope tomorrow will be a better day for you, adam. 🙂👍
The grass is not a parking space. Too bad the city doesn’t have adequate parking for their celebrations. Sounds like they are always busy. I know it’s a hassle but like you said. Rules are rules! …. Merry Christmas Adam! ✌️❤️🎄
Its legal organized crime between the town who contracts with the tow company. The town dictated who gets towed and why. They all make money while you and the fam spend it at the event they lure you in with. Knowing dam well they dont have enough parking security' for parking and bathrooms
Wow, that's not very nice and unfair with no signage. Especially during Christmas! I got towed a long time ago and it cost $70.00 to get it out even way back then. Well, it's really nice of you to warn people. Sorry, that happened and I'm sure you're well aware that you are a very blessed man! Especially because you sent out a warning for others. May you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas!🎄😺
Who's grass is it that they are parking on? They don't know but are doing it anyway. Would you be ok with random people parking in your yard? See it seems like celebration doesn't allow for parking lots to be by permit only or to charge a fee. So building owners have to provide free parking for their tenants and the general public all while maintaining those grass areas which are very likely required to be there by the local planning commission. I guarantee that this is a privately owned lot. Sure there is no sign saying"don't park on the grass" but there also is no sign saying "park on the grass". Do you have any signage telling drivers that they can't park in your yard?

I've never been towed but my friends have. Here in California, expect to pay $ 350 - $ 400. Yes, cities contract with the Tow Companies ahead of time and the deal is the city gets a major cut. The Tow Companies get volume TOWS.
That is what I call a racket. Someone is getting a kickback, I guarantee it. It's also ridiculous that people who live in the area don't have parking.
No they are contracted by the entity that owns the lot. Lol
Safe to say ,tow truck drivers got their Christmas Bonus 😂😂😂
You are such a nice guy Adam. Yesterday in vlog you were trying to help others today as well. 🤗🎄
They heard you were moving out and was like "let's mess with him"
Thank you for the video Adam. I was going to go to Celebration tonight. Thanks for the info. Merry Christmas 🎄 ☃️🎅
It’s a cash grab with the tow companies. They don’t care about crowds and parking situation. They want that easy money……Also how crazy you just made a video about tow away signs for not in the lines.
Yea it’s odd . Maybe I put the wheels in motion ha
It’s tough.
Seems like everyone is trying to get into our back pockets.
Celebration has no city council. It's not a city nor is it a town. It's a large HOA community. It is actually a part of Kissimmee
Merry Christmas ATW!!!
I really like this video. You managed to take a bad situation and make it entertaining and informative. Well done for all you did here.
Merry Christmas Adam to you and yours!! Thanks for the vids! Highlight of my day!!!!
Adam being the good Samaritan and helping families not get towed. Merry Christmas Adam! Hope you have an amazing holiday season!!! ❤
I wonder if they write Merry Christmas on the receipt you get when you pay all the charges.
Sounds about right . Halloween and Christmas time is insane traffic wise . It’s not made for that amount of cars
Such a shame, to be faced with that but good on you for doing what you could for a few others.
Im surprised they dont have a parking permit situation for residents. If not they really need to especially in instances like this
I have a resident sticker . Doesn’t help when there’s no parking tho
I bet there were cars in your lot that did not have a resident sticker. They are the ones who should be towed
“this car will be towed, and this car will be towed, and this car will be towed” 😂 Happy holidays Adam
Adam the boo who woo
Agreed . That was a different lot tho . That’s the point was trying to make
You're so nice. Thanks, Adam.
Breaking the Law! Breaking the Law! 😂🤘
Judas Priest Adam, just not right on your car getting towed.
Someone towed the woo mobile! How dare they! I hope big the foot survived! You’re the best ! Love your content! Peace ☮️
What on earth was the point of this video? Are there really people out there who don’t know that your car will be towed if you break parking rules? 😅
In San Francisco the tow company gets the lion’s share. You have a great attitude about the situation. Thanks
I have not seen The Woo ever getting angry or losing his cool. This guy is great example, and a good role model for younger folks, on how to handle bad situations. 🙂👍 Merry Xmas Adam.
Oh I get bent out of shape often trust me
@@TheDailyWoo Ha! Would love to see you get fired up about something.
@@mary4306he was probably saying a few obscenities when his car was gone lol
@@mary4306"oh fuuuuuuudge!
Except I didn't say fudge"
This is real world. Sometimes you tell someone something & they don't believe you, make you feel like you're up to something, make you feel dumb; do the best as you can for as long as you can, is the right answer.
Bless you Adam! You saved people a lot of misery and money that night!
Merry Christmas Mr Adam the Woo. Thank you for the vlogs I appreciate it all.
But was big the foot ok?
Merry Christmas to you and yours Adam!
Watching this video, I can guarantee you you’d never catch me there. I hate crowds and I even hate heavy traffic more but I like what it looks like when it’s not during the holidays in the videos that you have shown.
Your HOA dollars at work!
NEVER live in an HOA community! It's like volunteering to live in a perpetual nightmare.
that's a bummer, your car got towed away. i'm glad, you got your car back. that was nice of you to warn everyone about parking there. i hope tomorrow will be a better day for you, adam. 🙂👍
You were so nice to tell people about the tow away zones.
The grass is not a parking space. Too bad the city doesn’t have adequate parking for their celebrations. Sounds like they are always busy. I know it’s a hassle but like you said. Rules are rules! …. Merry Christmas Adam! ✌️❤️🎄
I couldn't imagine walking out in my car, not being there. My heart would drop😊❤️
Yea I thought it was stolen at first
Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🧑🎄🤶🎅🎄😊
Google says they have a rating of 1.7. Bet we can get it lower.
You are right Adam. Thanks for the heads up.
Its legal organized crime between the town who contracts with the tow company. The town dictated who gets towed and why. They all make money while you and the fam spend it at the event they lure you in with. Knowing dam well they dont have enough parking security' for parking and bathrooms
You were right the first time. YOUR CAR WAS STOLEN
Hope you had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024 here we come a brand new year is upon us❤
Merry Christmas to you and your family! (The parking lot was not marked properly to warrant a tow.IMO)
Morning Adam. It's Christmas day here in Australia! It's 6:20am here and I'm watching your video to start my day. Sorry to hear about your car being towed. At least it wasn't stolen. 👍
This video was ridiculous...you park where you shouldn't, you just might get towed.
Ok
Merry Christmas Woo!
