It was great to see how gentle she was with you. Flinging a 180lb guy out of the way would be effortless for her. My landlord has a Bull(Bovine, not a moose) thats almost 2000lbs. It took over 6 months to get him to trust me and and another few months were he finally grew to like me and I could interact with him whenever i wished. It is truly a magical thing thing when something that size and sheer strength chooses and makes an effort to be gentle with you.

Friendship and love between every land and sea animal, enemies being close friends, crossing any pre-known proof, inter species including humans of course. Everything on the Earth is so beautiful and truly valuable but there’s people who don’t care. Whose only love or care is about money and power. And they all depend on us.
It's kinda difficult to grasp just how huge moose are until you see them in real life. They're absolute units. In this clip, her ear is about the size of the young man's cap. 🙂
i remember meeting Momma moose in the woods with her baby - a potentially dangerous situation, but luckily she just ambled on past. her ear was the size of my huge ski mitten, that went half way up my wrist.
I am a 64 year old Canadian and grew up as a hunter. But I have always loved wildlife and filming them as well. A few years ago I had an epiphany of sorts. My wife and I were filming a Big Bull Moose on a hill, about a hundred yards away. As he stared at me, we had a sort of “meeting of the minds”. That moose (which I named Big Boy") and whom we filmed a few times in later years ..changed me. I haven't hunted for many years, and I now try in my videos to show our Canadian moose in a different light. Not just as a big game animal as most people here in NB see them. But as the Beautiful, Majestic, Interesting creatures that they are. They are also far more Intelligent than most people realize. In one of my trail cam videos, a bear upset the wooden stand I had a mineral block on for moose. And a young bull actually Tries with his hooves to put it upright. He realizes something is wrong, and wants to solve the problem. I also have a three part series where there is a problem with my trail camera and once again moose try to correct the situation. Not intentional trying to advertise here. .just want people to know how smart moose truly are. To me.. they are horses with antlers. I "Love Moose"!

You know an animal has been treated well and has a good connection when it asks for affection like that. It knows it is safe and will get affection from him. I've met some moose in the wild while canoeing, majestic animals, but certainly nervous (and dangerous) around humans when they are wild.

I’m Canadian and I’m not scared of moose. I’ve been around cows my whole life so being next to a 1,000lb+ animal is not in any way scary. The heaviest cow I’ve been around was an 1,800lb bull. So pretty comparable to a moose at that point. When I was younger, maybe 12, me, my dad, and my grandpa were helping out 1 of my great uncles when he got too sick to live alone, and 1 of the things we did was clean up all his shit, somethings had to be thrown out as he hoarded abit, while others had to be reorganized and such. 1 of those many days at his house a moose calf somehow got himself over my great uncles fence and cudnt figure out how to get himself back over it to leave his yard. It must have been 6’ tall and 600+lbs. me and dad damn near petted the calf. Me and dad tried to heard the moose thru the gateway but the moose was unable to cooperate as it was a wild animal. After like 20mins of getting nowhere trying to chase it back into the bush my dad just called the local wildlife organization thingy to tranquilize it and haul it out of town to a safe place in the bush.
The way he turns his head into snuggle brought tears to my eyes 👀 just needs to be loved like every living thing on this planet 🌿💚🦌💚🌿 Lovely video thankyou 🍃🙏🏻🍃

There are programs out there where they do this with horses and it also helps them learn to trust again. I believe there is a book called ITS NOT ABOUT THE HORSE.

I once was walking a trail with a friend who worked for the forest service. We had come around a bend, and after just getting past a marshy area on one side, we heard a loud grunt. I turned to notice a HUGE bull moose standing in the marsh a few feet away. I was instructed to continue walking slowly past and not make any sudden movements. Moments later, his head dropped, and he continued drinking. In the local Missoula paper, days later, was an article about a man fishing with his dog who got too close to one. when the dog barked, it charged them both kicking the dog and attacking the man. I've also heard they can become very aggressive during the rut season.

Nothing has better hearing and perception of vibration than a bull moose with a big rack - like a satellite dish perceiving vibrations. I bet they're amazing for defending a homestead from bears or wolves. Just train them so the noise of the "projectile- stick" you carry doesn't scare them.

I lived in ankorage for 2 years and in the winter the moose would come into town and I personally petted several cows and fed them and they are precious beings. Lovely creations 😊❤❤❤

I once watched a moose cow step over a 6’ fence as she was walking across a pasture. I couldn’t believe me eyes. It was amazing.
And AFAIK this is a European moose, meaning its smaller than their Canadian counterparts
