I just got a windows laptop for some programs I need to run I haven't used a Windows driven computer since 2009. A few things have changed! lol I've been trying for 2 weeks now to figure out the simplest of things! Thank you, thank you for putting out this video in terms that are understandable, easy to do & quick to execute. brava! I'm excited now to learn more.
Thanks for the video, TechGumbo. I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Although, the rest of the UI is okay. I do, however, miss the option of combining labels, never combining labels, and combining labels when taskbar is full in the Taskbar Settings 😞
I used to dock my taskbar to the left vertically (not same as moving icons to left) which is the ONE thing I need and not available in Windows 11. Regardless enjoying so far!!
Thanks for the tips! My power plan has only "Balanced", nothing else and no apparent way to find the other options (which I do see on my other PC and other laptop). I'm running 11 Home with AMD Ryzen 7 7730U with Radeon Graphics, 2000 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s), 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD on a new system. I have Shutup10 running, but I don't think that has anything to do with it, or the "Recommended" settings would probably not show either. I am not very familiar with the program and merely duplicated (not completely) what I saw in another video and these settings were not discussed. If the laptop were any faster, I probably would not notice it, as it is mostly for pleasure and I don't play games on it. Being less than a week old, it's pretty fast as it is. The only thing I use for business is a spreadsheet with no graphics. RUclips is the only streaming I do with it; I have a TV for what a TV is for. Still, I would change the setting to High Performance if that option was there. Thanks for the video!
