- Ever wondered what a really cheap flight looks like? Join me on my flight from Dublin to London Southend. I payed €3,65 for this flight :) In London, I continued my trip with a connection flight to Groningen. In this trip report, you’ll see what flying for such a low price looks like. Plane: Embraer E-195, G-FBEF
Seat: 22A
Camera: Sony FDR-AX53
Route: Dublin-London
My thoughts about FlyBe: It is just a low cost carrier, like every other low cost airline. The ticket prices are low, but there aren’t any free services onboard, and even choosing a seat when you check-in for your flight isn’t free. Cabin crew was quite friendly, and the flight went smooth.
Notice: I booked a return trip with FlyBe from Groningen to Dublin for €30,-. I had connection flights in London Southend. For the flights from Groningen to Dublin, I payed €22,70 and for the flights from Dublin back to Groningen, I payed €7,30,-, so one flight was around €3,65 :)

WHAT?! It's $3.95 to fly from Dublin to London?!?! The cheapest ticket to get from Montreal to Toronto is $100!!!!!! Wish we had fares like that! Awesome trip report Mylos! :D

Great Trip Report! You were lucky getting that flight so cheap, when I looked at Flybe prices they were expensive and a lot of other people say that too.

Good video and to show the difference between terminal 1 and 2 at Dublin. That said I have flown many times from the same gate area you used, but those flights were Aer Arann to Galway. Your got a very cheap ticket and it looked like a pretty decent flight. Have flown from Southend a few times and it's a pleasant experience. Nice to watch your video. Thanks for sharing your flight.

Nice video! The price is absolutely crazy! It does not pay anything for the airline. That is not good for the market. But I am sure you had a lovely flight. Oh this coloured windows at Dublin Airport are not really avgeek friendly ;) Thank so for the report. I really enjoyed watching it.

Ein billiger Flug muss nicht schlecht sein und Flybe ist noch eine der besseren Low Cost Airlines.

sorry but these kind of flights should be banned... there is no way flybe can pay ther staff good wages with these ticket prices. and what to think about the environment? im a fan of aviation but this is not acceptable in my opinion.

Yeah, they're more expensive. The cheapest return flight I could get Exeter-Dublin was £138. How did you get that ticket so cheaply??
