man tons of niken videos in my recomended, really can't wait to get mine
I think it's a Futuristic New type motorcycle. I Love its looks. I would call it a sport touring bike. It's a very unique style of motorcycle. You either love it or hate it. I love it.
Mode 1 power, mode 2 traffic riding, mode 3 rain. I’ve put 4,000 miles on my GT in 6 weeks. Including one track day, eight days on a trip...mountain roads and highways. It works.
Love this guys enthusiasm! best review of the Niken
Take my word for it this bike is awesome man!!!! As a tracer 900gt owner which I love the 3rd wheel takes it to another level. Try even if you don't buy just for the experience.i loved my demo ride.steve.
First time watching your channel i loved the review liked and subd
Thank you!!! Welcome to my channel!
This is what im waiting for!
That bike looks so weird but I want to try it out. Good video man, stay safe.
I would totally buy that bike if I was interested in another divorce 😁😁😁
I've always remembered a motorcycle ad on eBay where the guy said he was selling it because his wife saying "do whatever the f**k you want" didn't mean what he thought it did.
@jamesmegill: Hmmm. Tough call ......
It'd be nice if Yamaha make this somewhat self-standing at a standstill.
I'm givin it a couple yrs.to work out the bugs...I'd like it to be like an H2 power gimmick..I've seen riders on you tube get dumped with a lot more experience than I'll ever have ..so I'm definitely getting one..and I'd like it bigger like a gold wing..
Sounds like you are in Love with that beautiful motorcycle
Yes, he is in deed ☺️
lol, you had a ton of enthusiasm for that bike. I will have to ride down the Kerrville and see if I can ride the one(s) they have there.
It was so much fun!!!
So when do we get the reveal of your new NIken? :)
You are an 850 class rider. I am also and did buy a gt.
Are those TCX boots I'm seeing good sir?!
Forget it , for my taste, too each their own!
How do the vibes compare to what you reported on the Tracer 900 GT?
Definitely more refined.
There are those who just won't get this motorcycle, because their narrow-minded negative focus, is 2 wheels only, I've been riding for over 30years , all types 2 to 4 wheels, and with maturity can say that Yamaha have stolen a march on the others, this machine provides massive grip and unsurpassed wet weather performance, broaden your mind.
Like yr vid.
Do you still counter steer?
Yes!
Hey man, #DopeDomes told me about you. How do you feel about ZEROs?
I have heard some interesting stories about their reliability but riding them is such a blast! If you're just commuting and don't plan on going far from a charger definitely check them out. I have reviewed pretty much every model but the SR is my favorite. I saw they just came out with a SR/F with 110hp and 140ftlb of torque. I need to get on one of those. Thanks #dopedomes for the plug!
MotoChooch I got mine from there, Maxim. Very nice.
@@MotoChooch The whole point of EV's is to keep their owners tethered to the city they live in, a-la Agenda 2030. Choosing an EV is putting _yourself_ on a short leash, unless you can afford two vehicles. Otherwise, bye-bye Great American Road Trip! I love long-legged motorcycles. US Hwy 50, baby!
Could you make bmw r9t video?
I can ask!
MotoChooch Thank you
I'll take a VMax over that any day =)
Y
I like your enthusiasm yet would have been nice to see how it performs on twisty roads.. An emergency stop would have also been interesting, not to mention seeing how it weaves through slow traffic. Also dare i mention rain? A slippery wet ride is what is called for said the actress to the bishop.
Paul Dutton it works in the twisties. I’ve been to Western North Carolina twice ran some of the named roads...it works.
@@ronahlstedt6045 Everything works... Even a bus works in the twisties yet with difficulty. You need to do a proper review and tick some boxes coz crazy frog enthusiasm is not enough. )))
Paul Dutton well let me see here. I rode my GT 1,300 miles in pouring rain for three days. On major highway at speeds above 85 mph and on mountain road at speed. So what is your experience riding a Niken. Most likely none. So again you like most critics don’t know what you are talking about. I also took my Niken to a high performance suspension shop. They told me the front end is the most solid they have ever seen. They also told me the rear end needs a bit of work. So until you put 5,000 miles on a Niken you have no idea what you are talking about.
Tone it down
Hmmm...snowmobile aesthetics and unnecessary overly complex technology.
Niken = the answer to a question that nobody asked. Just because you can does not necessarily mean that you should. Yeah, I'll pass.
elmo omle the same was said about ABS and water cooler engines.
@@ronahlstedt6045 I appreciate your opinion but your argument is flawed: both ABS and water cooled engines are not overly complex AND they provide a real benefit in performance.
A motorcycle is a 'single track' vehicle vs. Niken, which is a 'three track' vehicle just like all 'trikes'. What the Niken really is, is a better 'trike' - a trike that leans - rather than a better motorcycle. The Niken steering apparatus and front suspension are overly complex vs. a traditional motorcycle and needlessly so for the perceived slight advantage in 'grip'. If the grip advantage was 'real', all MotoGP bikes would look like Nikens...but they don't. I stand by my original post.
elmo omle you are typical of people who don’t like any change. My argument is anything but flawed. I remember when the first Honda cb750 came out...many haters...I owned four of them...then the gold wing came out again many haters...I got one the second year it came out. The Niken is different no doubt. I just returned from a 4,000 mile road trip pouring rain for three days, track day, and much mountain riding in North Carolina. The Niken did wonderfully. Yamaha should be applauded for pushing the technology envelope. As far as a bike or trike. My insurance company and the state of Ga consider it a motorcycle. It will out lean many traditional motorcycles. So until you educate yourself...like riding it for 4,000 miles in eight days you do not know what you are talking about.
elmo omle so do you use carbon fiber wheels on your bike like MotoGP bikes do. That comparison is beyond a joke.
@@ronahlstedt6045 Ok Ronnie...I'm the joke and you're obviously the butt hurt Niken owner that gets triggered over any perceived negative comment about your new ride and then resorts to ad hominem attacks. Sad.
I've been riding for over 4 decades , have owned some 25 motorcycles and have done many week long rides as well as numerous track days, and raced motocross bikes as a teen...obviously, I don't know what I'm talking about ...hilarious.
As long as You are happy with your motorcycle purchase, that's all that should matter Ronnie...seriously, I shouldn't have to explain this.
A redundant front wheel along with all the 'tech' to make it happen, is, to me, 'unnecessary' for the very small, 'perceived' benefit...and that, is my point. Aesthetics? That's all in the eye of the beholder...as long as you're happy with the looks, what should you care what I, or anyone else thinks??
Carbon fiber wheels, abs, traction control, IMU et al...they all provide actual and significant performance increases and that is very cool in my book.
Continue enjoying your new, very high tech, three wheeled NIken, and please Ronnie, try to 'chill' as there is no reason to project your insecurities on others...good grief. Peace.
