I can not love this post enough! After waiting over 22 years for my children to grow, I finally decided to start riding motorcycles. I started by taking a safety course, stared shopping for a bike, got my permit, then purchased my first motorcycle! Purchased a brand new Yamaha R300. Admittedly, one day I was enjoying my bike and out of nowhere tears of joy began to flow. Thanks, again for posting this resonated with me.
The saddest ending to a video when it makes you realise those that didnt stop because they didnt have fun anymore but because they got too old to get on
Just started, looking forward to learning something new. Purchased me a 2023 klr650 and going to be taking it for my first ride this weekend. First new vehicle ever.

Two years this past month. Have five bikes in the garage. Love track days on my race ready ZX6R. Street bike is a Gixxer 750 and a Sportster 1200XL for cruising. Lots of time given I am retired ....turn 64 this summer.
In the Philippines I still used them but with 100cc mopeds and I used them going to work and errands. I used the car if it’s rainy. I don’t ride for speed. I used them to go from a to b cheaply.
Rode since I was five years old. Raced them for many years. I am in my sixties now. But when I get on it and ride a wheelie up over the hill I just feel great.
Yo adobo, i’m 21, i’ve been watching your videos for a year now and after a tough and abusive relationship, I needed to find something to get me out there. Thank you for giving me the motivation to do so, I love the jokes you make and the advice you give and how you don’t sugarcoat or hide things and say things for what they are. I hope to have a fun time on my ninja and hope to meet some awesome people along the way.
I have been riding motorcycles 52 years. You make a great point. Quit riding when it is no longer fun riding. I'm still having fun. I don't know what the future holds. I can't imagine ever hopping on my bike and not having fun. I guess it's possible. I'm guessing when I am no longer phyically able to get on the bike, is when I quit. Only time will tell. Thanks for sharing.
I'm 53, started riding when I was 8 with my brothers. Have had breaks from riding along the way, but have never really stopped. Still ride, still love it. Great channel too!!
@KingD-kh1qj Yes, I've had several accidents. A couple when just starting out on road bikes. The typical "go where you look" type thing which were quick lessons to learn. Then, a couple that were caused by others, such as left turn in front of me. I have also taken several riding courses along the way, including some track lessons while visiting the states. I'll probably ride until I can't. I also.have another riding course lined up later this year. There is always more to learn and it's a good brush up on skills that can get rusty. Cheers!
@@WadeBarmby Brother I'm 34 and wanna start riding on these terrible Caribbean roads. Have always thought motorbike were cool but they scare the crap outta me. But....I love cars too. I'm a great driver. Had I Subara recently. My fear with bikes is falling off and losing a limb or worse especially as I have just started business and would like to enjoy my future wealth intact. So my next question. Have those accidents caused you serious injuries? Because best believe I would be a very careful rider. I want to start on an R3 and then get an Aprilia Rs 660 and ride the 660 like a scooter. Turtle paste no overtaking.
@KingD-kh1qj Hi Mate. I've never had a serious injury other than to my pride as I've always dressed for the slide, even on hot days. I also had to learn how to rebuild my bikes as there is usually some damage sustained. Still wouldn't trade it though. As I got older, I've also changed my riding. I'm now on a Ducati Monster which suits me down to the ground.

I almost got a bike, I was set up to take the classes and had my bike picked out. The only thing that stopped me was my son. He’s only 18 months and I couldn’t imagine him growing up the way I did if I passed while riding one. A coworker of mine lost his son to a motorcycle crash and that sealed it for me. When it hits that close to home it really makes you think.

Don't let fear keep you from what you enjoy. I've seen a lot of brutal motorcycle accidents in person. I've seen a helmet that the head never left. These are things that can happen. Even still, I don't see the reason in letting fear control you.
precisely. I read posts on the daily about people not wanting to get back on because they tossed the bike on the ground in a lot and I'm just like what?
Since 2005. I took a break for a few years from 17-20’ . I tried going with a Road king. That lasted about 5 minutes and it only motivated me to get back in the sport bike world. So I blew some coin on a 20’ R1 and I haven’t regretted it for a second . It’s easier for me to afford the mods now than when I was in my early 20’s riding 600’s .

Biggest reason is family. You wanna make sure you’re around long enough to raise and help your kid along as well as take care of the older folks in your family. I couldnt imagine my grandparents having to bury me😢

I just completed a 2400 mile bike ride to Key West from Montgomery, AL. One of my bucket list items to ride to Key West. I’ve been riding since 2011 and even took a break from 2017 to 2020 after I lost some friends in rapid succession. I have no intentions of stopping because riding brings me peace. I’m definitely more mindful when I ride but I would say the #1 thing that would make me stop riding is if I became scared of riding. You take a risk when you get out of bed each morning but if you’re scared of riding, scared of traffic on a motorcycle or scared of what may happen while riding,…stop riding.

Been riding for 3,5 years and I feel like the fun is really just starting. Finally have the finances to start buying dream bikes.
The saddest ending to a video when it makes you realise those that didnt stop because they didnt have fun anymore but because they got too old to get on
True riders either get too old to ride or die riding, there's no in between
Just started, looking forward to learning something new. Purchased me a 2023 klr650 and going to be taking it for my first ride this weekend. First new vehicle ever.
My motorcycle was my escape from reality when I was hurting mentally or emotionally I would go out an ride and it made me feel free
Its now winter and after putting the bike into storage I feel empty. Goingto have to replace riding the bike to servising and cleaning the bike or I go crazy.
@@IV-A damn man I feel it tho.. mine actually blew up.. like the engine got fuked lol
I couldn’t agree with more either. I’ve always had to let things go by the wayside. When it’s just not fun anymore too….Good statement!😊🤘🏽
Been riding for 9 months now. Took me a decade to finally pull the trigger on it and happy I did. Don't plan on quitting anytime soon. ✌️😁
I’ve been riding over 40yrs. Still rippin’! 🏁
I’ve been on two wheels since I was 5 and my father bought me my first dirt bike. I’m 44 now and have always had a bike. From the long stretched, rigid frame and wide tire choppers to the always awesome to ride super bikes.. I gave it a brake for a couple of years when my son was born but I always had a bike in the garage. It’s defiantly a lifestyle and I can’t ever see myself without one. Stay 2 up homie 🤙🏼
I been riding dirt bikes my whole life and I’m always pushing myself because I love to see how far I can go until I crash or the bik gives out and I’m always discovering new things I can do it’s so much fun
I pretty much ride a full mod 110 with a race motor and the sound it makes when I down shift and blip the throttle is like heaven to me I hope I never stop riding
But thanks for your videos they always bring a smile to my face
Riding the bike the past few years was sometimes the only thing that got me through the day. I have always had a good time while riding.
Good advice.. I found i got too careful as i got older and got bored riding.. to fix it, i bought a dual sport and had fun for a year. Im now on my ktm 1290 super, and to say im excited when i ride could be an understatement
"The day I stop riding is the day I die" 💪🏽💯
Been riding for 40 yrs, picking up my new baby tomorrow - 2023 S1000RR, red. Also have 5 track days booked for this summer!! I'm a happy old fart :)
I took a bunch of years off in my 20's I may have been a bit too wild back then but now in my 40's F the cage dual sporting in the worst weather is awesome.. I had a plow let me pass in a blizzard last winter.
That’s awesome
@@adobomotoso how do you stop having fun.. ive just got back to biking after a 35yr break.. family thing.. & stepped straight onto a 1000 sport bike & faaaark me.. anyway.. can appreciate the increased dangers with roads beinguch poorer & lots lots more traffic & idiot car drivers not mention idiot truck drivers & COURIERS!!.. last bike was a Duc 900ss & race kitted 1135 z1r.. but this thousand class blows me away! seen a vid ov a 74yr old commutes daily on his zx1000 of some sort.. so figured :-?
Well, that's exactly correct. I had been on an accident for about 3 times, yet, my friends are asking me if I am even getting traumatized. I can't answer that though. But all I know, for now, every time I ride my bike, I feel relaxed.
Ride or Die yo. Don't stop getting it👊🏼
My dad stopped riding when i was like 5-6 years old after a near crash situation. After all he was my inspiration to start riding bikes 8 years ago. Take care guys, ride safe
Same
Rode since I was five years old. Raced them for many years. I am in my sixties now. But when I get on it and ride a wheelie up over the hill I just feel great.
Yo adobo, i’m 21, i’ve been watching your videos for a year now and after a tough and abusive relationship, I needed to find something to get me out there. I figured getting a motorcycle right away wasn’t the best idea so I did a lot of research and slowly decided to buy a Kawasaki Ninja 400 (got discontinued so i’m actually buying a 500). Thank you for giving me the motivation to do so, I love the jokes you make and the advice you give and how you don’t sugarcoat or hide things and say things for what they are. I hope to have a fun time on my ninja and hope to meet some awesome people along the way.
Hell yea I agree with that. I'm so ready to ride again. I am in Washington state as well. Soon will be riding a Busa.
I just can't imagine the day where I no longer feel like I want to ride a motorcycle. It would be a very sad day
25 years. Still the most fun I can have with my pants on.
16yrs of riding and i still can't get enough.
Since the ‘70’s
I can’t imagine it not being fun.
I'm 53, started riding when I was 8 with my brothers. Have had breaks from riding along the way, but have never really stopped. Still ride, still love it. Great channel too!!
Any accidents from your experience?
I'm now on a Ducati Monster which suits me down to the ground.
i’ve been riding for about a year and it’s the best feeling in the world you can’t even explain it
Just have the convo with your family!
Lost my dad on his Harley last year only thing getting us by was he politely declined and rode off never to come home one day!
Sorry man. God bless
I just started riding bikes a few days ago.
I bought my first bike, a bajaj dominar 250 and i'm having a complete blast in it. I love every aspect of it, the feels while driving it, the bike herself, everything.
Wish I could keep riding forever 💙
But like some say, everything that starts have a finish line...
Arre congo bhai .. maze karo and always wear helmet

I just can’t let it go dude . I love riding around. Gave my wife the car and I strictly use 2 wheels now ! Always doing my part to stay alive , but you never know what can happen & I will never talk down on anyone making a decision to ride or not ride anymore ! STAY UP
Facts, if you’re not enjoying it it’s not worth the risk :)
I stopped because the dmv suspended my license-I’ll be back though, miss it much!
I go through withdrawal if I don't ride a motorcycle

40+ years here.....the best therapy money can buy!
Don’t live for fear my dudes.
I took a break riding my r1 she's sitting on my garage. But I know ima get back on it, cause it's the only vehicle that actually puts a big ass smile on my face
I agree! I was riding evre day and got bored sold the bike and bought a broken one and i was fixing it for 9months and in that time the need to ride just came back knowing i got a bike in thr garage
"For most of my life i've been on 2 wheels" really hit home since i think the entire South East Asia, everyone grown up with 2 wheels, i'm not even joking, i'm from vietnam and let me tell ya, everyone knows how to ride a motorcycle
got my Licence @16 in Ireland - 49 now - still on it
33 years. Damn bro
1 Year got my first hyabusa last week my dad introduced me to them and I was hooked
There goes 45 secs of my life I’m never getting back
Hey man.I actually just moved to Philippines and got my first bike, only a 200cc sport bike though haha. I’m learning alot from your channel, I came from Houston Tx racing and modifying Hondas and acuras. Now I gotta learn motorcycles
Oh and with that RSV4 Factory...you will never stop riding!
I'll never get tired of that feeling of freedom.
I’ve been riding since 2008. Each time I had to sell my bike for one reason or another, I always found a way back to two wheels and fell in love with riding all over again.
I stopped riding when I died in 07, I had a beautiful service and all my friends came and gave me a great send off.
Biggest reason is family. You wanna make sure you’re around long enough to raise and help your kid along as well as take care of the older folks in your family. I couldnt imagine my grandparents having to bury me😢
That's not a reason to stop. It's just a reason to learn how to ride properly. Basic training and the "oh boo hoo ride like everyone else wants to kill you" mentality doesn't work. Gotta have actual skill.
@@libingmeme8474 yeah no shit, but there are situations where you’re just unlucky and no amount of skill can save you. Proper riding technique isnt gonna do shit to save you from a retard going around a blind corner in your lane. Sometimes you have no time to react.
The legendary ghostrider quit because he has kids
your average timmy isn't really a ghost rider level rider though. Unless you do that, there is no reason to really stop out of family related fears.
I’m not having fun on mine anymore I have a sportster 1200 and I ride that thing so hard I have scraps on my pipes from leaning so hard, I made the mistake of getting a Harley because all my friends where and we had this stupid motorcycle club dream, now I’m financially unstable and really want a sport bike I don’t want to stop riding but sometimes I feel I ride my Harley way to hard for what it’s made for and we all know where that could lead. Anyway that’s my little vent session keep up the dope content!!
Been riding for a long time and I love it, rain or shine. I can't imagine not riding, viva le motorcycles!
Been riding since I was 7yrs old (dirt bike) Now I’m on my 15 motorcycle (HP4) working on bike number 16 (2023 BMW S1000RR) the key to longevity is ride less. As long as you have access to it, and it’s not who’s the fastest but who can make it through the season without crashing or losing your life.

I’m 16 just bought my first dirt bike about 1 month ago and it has changed my whole perspective on riding down roads and trails.I love it plus my fist bike is a 125 so it’s a manual and it keeps you so in tune with what’s going on I love riding on two wheels and probably won’t stop until I’m too broke or too old to ride
Been at it since I was 15 (for 52 years)
Still liking it.
A lot
I rode a motorcycle for the first time yesterday and I thought I was going to die multiple times, yet I was smiling.

I quit riding 25ish years ago rode for years and now I'm 50 on my bday I got another one buell 1125RCR so I'm back and I never lost the excitement but I did have to clam down back in the day keep riding bro!
It will never stop being fun
I’ve only been riding for a mountain, but I’ve been having fun on my old bike, xj650, and I kinda wanna take it on the track some day
Got pretty injured on one of my bikes a bit ago, healing up nicely
I look at my Ninja....just waiting to ride again
For years I contemplated a bike, in 06 I was looking hard at the cbr600rr, never happened. Early 2022 delt a blow when my BIL who has been riding for years passed away in a car crash, a poker-run was held and that was my moment of clarity, took MSF in Oct 22 and Nov 14th purchased a Vstar1100... Almost 5k in riding miles to date, it's tons of fun and sometimes it can be used to help a family going through a rough time.. Stay safe out there, your videos are hilarious
I got t-boned on a bike. After about 3 months I jumped back on. Riding is so fun. And yes some of the coolest people I've meet had 2 wheels under their asses!
I've been riding with a motorcycle for 11 years now with my age, still 25... and so far, i still enjoy it...
Nah bro.I got into major accident which broke my ribs & shoulder joints.Replacing metal permanently & it takes about 6months to recover. Not fully recover. After the 7months i still love riding. But i learn the mistakes i've done.

Got 20 years on bikes now, and I'll ride til I can't. Keep up the great content!
I been riding for nearly 13 years man and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon
